With the objective of cutting out both of these ingredients, in this recipe the white sauce is prepared using coconut milk and potatoes. This white sauce is not only a nutritious replacement, it is smooth, creamy and yummy! As the veggies are only lightly steamed, they tend to retain more of their moisture and nutrition!

Hi… Our bodies have an amazing healing capacity mainly as nature has designed it innately within all organisms. Growth, repair and reproduction are the basic functions of any living cell. When we provide inputs to our body, which is in line with how nature meant it body does a wonderful job of reversing the illness. However, pls note that Cancer by itself has manifested after years of the body trying to cope with the wrong inputs. Many times infact most times these wrong inputs are not just food, emotions, and thoughts play a huge role. So reversing cancer requires a very deep and 360 degree approach – but the most important aspect for the person undergoing it, to be the one believing in the immense power of the body. Food wise the changes to be done requires one to cut off all processed packaged foods and introduce fresh, raw whole natural foods. Cutting out dairy and non veg, would be another major step towards this. This in itself is a significant change for the person undergoing cancer. In addition, it will also need the person to work on the emotional blockages, as the thoughts which also feed our internal toxicity. Thus working with a holistic health practitioner who understands this well, and can guide during these trying times is always better. Hi since past 3-4 days I am having dizziness and shaking feeling including tingling of mouth. I also feel low in energy whilst my diet consumption has substantially increased. Hi pls do not mix dry fruits and nuts. They are different food groups, and should be consumed separately. Munaka, Raisins are dry fruits while peanuts, almonds, sesame, kaju are nuts.

Hi moms, my daughter has been coughing from last 15-20 days in mornings and at night. The doc says it’s because of the allergies and not due to cold. Through cough and colds, esp nagging ones, the body is demanding a lot of rest. So, focus on her rest. Since she will be having disturbed sleep at night, make sure she is able to nap in afternoon in dark or call it an earlier night for next 15 days. Wind down, have aroma baths for her in evening. Keep her in dim lights in evening before you sleep. Because only in rest mode will the body repair. If she has a bad coughing spell at 3-4 am, keep her hydrated through soaked raisins. If you can afford keep her off school and allow her to rest do so.

Hi. Sinusitis is inflammation of the sinus caused by accumulation of toxic material. Body has an innate self healing mechanism, all you have to do is support your daughter's body in cleaning up these toxins. Toxins accumulate in an acidic body environment. You have to focus on increasing alkalinity in her body. Give her a diet rich in fruits, fruit juices and smoothies (only fruit based, no dairy), veggie salads, coconut water, lemon water. Give her veggie juices - Carrot spinach or carrot beetroot. Dairy, maida and white sugar are mucous forming and aggravate sinusitis. Completely eliminate these. Steaming is good. How often is she doing it? Try 3-4 times a day, add eucalyptus oil drops in water while steaming. You can also pour a few drops in pillow for inhalation while sleeping. Hope this helps. Take care dear. It might need a bit of effort and discipline to implement what I said, but we have to do it for our kids. They eat so much of processed food and live in polluted air, we have to make an extra effort to help their bodies regain their balance.


Whenever I travel, I get constipation, why does that happen and how to avoid?

1. The cause is dehydration. The meal before you travel must be only fruits, specially citrus. 2. If you travel by air then keep sipping water throughout the flight. 3. Skip the next cooked meal and have more fruits. 4. Winters and AC environment suppress our thirst so make it a habit to drink water at a fixed appropriate time. 5. Always avoid refined flour, fried and junk food while traveling. If you cannot avoid them then always have only fruits breakfast or dinner during your travel.


My younger one about 13 years of age has developed boils on his legs! They are itchy and hurting. What can be done to take care of them?

1. Oil pulling. 2. Deep breathing for 45 minutes daily. Three seconds inhalation and seven seconds exhalation. 3. Simple neck rotation exercise, preferably early morning. 4. Back aches typically come due to strenuous activities over a period of time. I’m a mother of a 2.5 year old boy, sometimes when I excessively carry him around I get a backache. What I have noticed is that if I become more disciplined about my food on days when I know I’ll be superbly busy running after him, I’m able to manage much better. So fruits till noon and veggie juices before lunch - just these 2 things itself have such a big impact!! I’ll strongly suggest you follow this too as your problem has been lingering for a while now. In addition to that, ensure you don’t strain ur back. Don’t sit in same posture for long. Do yoga for back strengthening, google for the relevant poses. Regular massage will also give you relief. While taking bath,try putting water on your back through shower, alternating b/w hot and cold, do 3 rounds. I think this will really help you.

If you are on a healthy detox diet then hair fall is very common . It will pick up in a year or two. Hair is not essential for life or it’s not one of the vitals for living and hence hair falls and regrows as healing is happening and when body finds surplus resources and vital force to pay attn to hair, it will. However, if you are on a sedentary,stressful non vegan lifestyle then toxins are catching up. Please look up other posts here to see how you can get back to a healthy lifestyle. Two percent of body weight will give your approximate intake of fruits and raw vegetables daily. Hi. Asthma, or for that matter any illness or disease, is body’s way of signaling & removing toxic build up in the body. Don’t be scared that its asthma & you can do nothing about it. Human body has a wonderful self-healing mechanism, you just have to support the body through right inputs. Tell your friend to increase the fruit intake of her son. He should also have more raw veggies in the form of salads & juices. With kids it often becomes difficult to make changes in food, but start with making small changes. At least for a while, stop intake of dairy, non-veg and grains. These are all acidic foods & come in the way of body’s healing. Also, stop packaged foods for the same reason.

Please take ample rest. This would mean both food wise i.e. digestive rest and mentally. Be off gadgets completely. This will allow body to conserve energy. You could put a cold towel on your abdomen and lie down for 5 - 10 minutes. OR try taking a nap. After every motion or after every 2 hours – you can have a banana or apple or pomegranate. You could take a concoction of lemon mixed with equal amount of water. You can add a pinch of haldi to it. Eat only if you are hungry and resume with steamed vegetables such as potatoes. Add some raw in form of simple salads. Get well soon!


Hi. I'm Having Fever. What To Do If Diagnosed With Dengue Or Chikunguniya?

I had chikungunya and my kids have suffered from dengue. I was on a liquid diet for a week and fruits for few days and cooked later. I healed faster, I slept well, I managed some house work too and slept a lot. Liquids keeps the temperature from impacting the body adversely. Kids also have recovered from these by being on liquids majorly during fevers and slowly being on fruits thereupon. Keeping the digestion to almost nil will help during fevers


I am unable to sleep at night.. Too anxious.. Any suggestions?

Take a ripe banana, cut the ends. Put the whole banana with skin in a pan with two cups of water. Boil till the water reduces to one cup. Remove the banana, strain the water and drink before sleeping. Continue for 30 days, if sleep doesn't improve, please comment your experience.
