You should eat all kinds of fruits! They are so nutritious! At least finish the fruit juice!
How often do you say these lines to your little ones? Have you succeeded in making them consume fruits willfully, or the struggle is still on?
Don’t create a fuss & make your kids fall in love with fruits! How? With our one of a kind, fun, and creative online program for kids ‘Healthy Eating for Kids - Fruits’. Summers give the best of juicy and delicious fruits. Why not help them spend the summer-time fruitfully?
After the two successful runs of our kids-oriented program De-Junk Kids & a batch of ‘Fun-tastic Fruits for Kids’, holistic nutrition, and health coach Saee Bapat and Wellcure’s health coaches are bringing another amazing program to promote healthy eating in kids.
Know before you book - How processed and refined foods are ruining kids health? How fruits promote health & immunity? How can this program help? How do we help kids understand all this? How will you & your kids benefit from it? What will kids learn? Can you attend the program with your kids? How will the program be conducted?
How processed and refined foods are ruining kids health?
Our busy lives tempt us often to grab the ready-to-eat packaged foods for ourselves and our kids. They are high in sugar, fat and salt. These place a great burden on children's vitality and also make them addicted to such foods.
They are low in fibre, vitamins, minerals and other nutritional elements that kids require for healthy growth.
They can be a cause of obesity and various chronic illnesses later in life, such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, high cholesterol, fatty liver, cancer, etc.
Processed foods are devoid of enzymes. Hence, they are difficult to digest and leave acidic residues.
How fruits promote health & immunity?
Fruits are our natural food. They are predigested naturally and place a lesser burden on our gut. Being rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber they help increase immunity and promote health. Vitamins C and E present in fruits are antioxidants that help to destroy free radicals and support our immune system.
How can this program help?
Awareness is the first step to conscious change. This program is designed specifically for kids, with the objective of making them aware about the benefits of eating fruits and enable them to make a conscious choice for themselves. If healthy eating becomes a conscious choice, it stays for life. We want to make kids aware of the importance of eating fruits in a friendly, engaging and fun way.
How do we help kids understand all this?
We want to eliminate the coercion of making kids eat healthy out of your lives, and encourage them to eat their fill of fruits every day happily. We know that children learn best when they are interested, motivated & engaged. In this program, this is exactly what we get them to do! Watch them observe, listen, ask, experiment and explore to become aware about fruits. This will lead to their awareness and intrinsic motivation to make healthier food choices. By the end of the program, we are sure, your children will discover a number of interesting ways to include fruits in their daily diet and will look forward to eating them!
How will your kids benefit from it?
Curated by the experienced holistic nutrition and health coach, Saee Bapat and Shweta Gupta, Health Educator, this program will make kids understand the concepts of healthy eating in a way that they can relate to. During the program, Wellcure’s natural health coach, along with Saee, will be focused on inculcating healthy eating habits in kids. Once they get into the routine of eating fruits daily on their own, this excellent habit shall be for life. The earlier we learn, the longer we retain a habit.
What will kids learn?
Doing one thing at a time is simpler, for kids and adults both. So instead of pursuing them to eat healthily all the time we are trying to introduce one healthy habit to children, that is, eating fruits. See your kids have fun while they learn to make healthy lifestyle choices by:
Understanding why fruits are good for health
Exploring & experimenting fun ways of eating fruits
Knowing ways to eat fruits mindfully
Getting the motivation to enjoy a greater variety of fruits
Can you attend the program with your kids?
Yes, you may attend the sessions with your kids. However, unlike many other similar programs, the program coaches will reach out to the kids directly and engage them in fun ways to understand why, how, and when of eating fruits.
How will the program be conducted?
Kids will engage in interactive & fun activities via Zoom cloud meetings. The learnings would be imparted primarily through stories, riddles, puzzles and games
Kids to receive a free e-book on the program, which will contain:
Summary & key learnings of the session
Worksheets & activities
Fruit-based Natural Recipes
