The good news is that muscular exercises, correct postures and basic changes in lifestyle can help you remove the root cause of your knee and leg pain. Popping a pain killer is not the long-term solution, it only suppresses the cause of pain.
We bring to you the amazing Knee Therapy Sessions by Expert Yoga Therapist Rachna Bothra to rid you of that bothersome ache.
How common is knee and leg pain?
Covid-19 has made us sit at home, decreasing mobility an increasing knee and leg pains. We see an increasing number of knee joint issues in people as young as 30 years. Earlier, knee and leg pain was associated with only older age groups (50+).
What is the reason behind knee and leg pain being so common?
Our sedentary lifestyle limits the movement of joints and muscles. Being inactive for a long period puts pressure on joints, causing uneven wear & tear, reduced flexibility, and aches. Poor dietary habits and lack of exercise aggravates the problem.
How can Knee Therapy Sessions help?
This program is based on Therapeutic Yoga which equips participants with preventive and healing techniques to reduce knee and leg pain.

What is the structure of the program?
Duration - 17th October - 7th November 2020
Time: 5 pm - 6 pm
Sessions - 1 session each Saturday
30-minute personal consultation (Choose Your Own Slot)
Week 1 (17th Oct): Overview of knee and leg pain, causes, understanding of basic muscles related to the knee
Week 2 (24th Oct): Postural correction, modified yoga poses, breathing exercises, and acupressure points
Week 3 (31st Oct): Elaboration of and practice the exercises, poses, and acupressure techniques
Week 4 (7th Nov): Practice and recap of all techniques. 30 minute additional Q&A with the instructor (extended session, 5 pm - 6:30 pm)
Program Fee: INR 750/- per person. Early Bird Currently INR 649/-
Who is the instructor?
Rachna Bothra is a motivated Yoga Instructor with advanced knowledge of Yoga. She has been a yoga practitioner for more than 30 years (started at the age of 8). She has experience in training individuals groups in Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation, Knee Therapy, and addressing common health issues related to knee and leg pain with modified Yoga. She has been actively conducting workshops, corporate sessions and individual training for Knee Yoga Training. She enjoys inspiring others to improve wellness and commit to long-term health and fitness goals.
