My friend’s son got a bit hurt today. A piece of glass gave him a small cut. What can be applied for relief? Natural and non medicinal.

First make sure there is no piece of glass. You can apply honey or aloe vera mixed with pinch of haldi. Make your child rest a lot for body to work on healing.

Also, keep him on raw natural diet so that more of body's energy is available for healing than digestion

Hellos.  The body has innate power to clot the blood, heal itself and grow a fresh skin.  If its a small cut, after the bleeding has stopped, allow it to heal on its own.  No immediate need to apply much there.  If you still want to aloe vera gel should be good.  As skin starts to grow back some itchiness may be there, in that case coconut oil can be applied.

“The power to heal is innate. It’s with our body at birth and leaves us only when we die. The living organism does not need to be stimulated, inhibited, assisted, urged, prodded, nudged, dosed or treated by means of an external agent.

It will "move itself" when necessary = Self Healing” were the precious words of a nature cure practioner I knew.

Open wounds have to heal on its own unless it’s big enough that needs a stitch. Expose it to air and sunlight. Dip it 1 min in manageable hot water and 1 min in cold water and this will bring the blood to and fro to the area and healing will be faster. But air dying heals faster.

The cut will heal itself. Clean it with water and expose the cut to air. I had the same experience with my hand. Wish the child a speedy recovery
