You have answered your own question. There is no permanent short term measure, but a complete lifestyle change which would help you solve your hormonal issues. To get rid of acne getting to the root cause and solving that would help you achieve clear smooth skin. No doubt some short term home remedies could support you, but to get rid of it completely a holistic lifestyle change is recommended. To understand this lets briefly look at the working of our body.
Acne sets off because of the amount of change in the sex hormones in the blood. There is an increase in the production of testosterone. When there is an increase in the production in the blood it also increases the production of sebum in the skin. Bacteria live everywhere on our skin and where is an increase in sebum, they have a lot more food to feed on. This results in bacteria multiplying in numbers and the body in response to this produces little pistules in response to this. When we observe this on our skin our immediate reaction is we must clean and scrub our skin more often. But, this harms rather than benefiting us. The reason is our body produces an acid layer so that the bacteria cannot enter our body, but when we scrub our skin the acid layer is washed off and the bacteria gain entry into our body. Its actually the function of our liver to change the structure of the sex hormones and remove them in the faecal matter after they have done their job, but if the liver is too overwhelmed either due to toxic overload which happens either due to wrong food choices, medications, pollution, etc, then the sex hormones would not be changed efficiently or quickly enough to be removed from our body. They then stay for longer time in the blood and then it provides more food for the bacteria to feed on. This continues in a vicious cycle.
Following lifestyle changes would be helpful:
- That includes removal of all animal products including dairy, removal of packed and processed, oily and sugary foods. This creates an overload of toxins and disturbs the balance of the body.
- Include lots of raw vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds. They all contain essential vitamins and minerals for the normal functioning of the body.
- Avoid excess of teas, coffee. This also triggers the production of cortisol.
- Exposure to sunshine and proper rest and sleep are also of prime importance. They release happy hormones. And in a relaxed state, the body can repair and heal. Early morning sun exposure helps get rid of any surface bacteria and clears the skin.
- Manage stress either by some physical activity or deep breathing. This calms the body down. This helps the body to understand that there is no urgency and it can repair and heal.
- Adequate sleep. The body repairs and heals during sleep.

You can start your day with methi powder and warm water which gives insulin resistance and helps in menstrual cycle regulation. Adding more raw vegetables and fruits in your diet will help in cleansing your system.

- पॉलीसिस्टिक ओवरी सिंड्रोम होने पर मासिक धर्म में अनियमितता आ जाती है। इसके कारण समय पर मासिक स्राव नहीं आता या अधिक मात्रा में आ जाता है।
- चेहरे और शरीर पर अधिक बालों का आना।
- मुँहासों की अधिकता
- गर्भधारण में असमर्थता अथवा गर्भधारण होने पर बार-बार गर्भपात हो जाना।
- मोटापा और अधिक भोजन न करने पर भी वजन का तेजी से बढ़ना।
- यौन इच्छा में कमी होना।
- सिर के बालों का तेजी से झड़ना।

- प्यास लगने पर मिट्टी के घड़े में रखे हुए जल को बैठकर धीरे-धीरे सेवन करें इससे शरीर को पर्याप्त मात्रा में जल की आपूर्ति होती है ,शरीर के सभी अंग सुचारू रूप से अपना कार्य करते हैं।

• Some of the diet that'll help manage your symptoms are food with a low glycemic index such as whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, fruits and other unprocessed natural foods.This foods with low GI can improve your menstrual consistency and keep the insulin level stable.
