I say organic does preservative free organic sauces ... You may want to check.it has less shelf life. But as explained by others you can also make at home ...That might work cheaper

It will be difficult to get organic or unprocessed tomato sauce you are looking.

Its easier to make one at home

Saute garlic and onion ( 1 medium sized onion and 3 -4 garlic cloves )
Add little capsicum (1/3rd of whole red or green)
Add steamed tomatoes (5-6)
Add little water to keep the sauce consistency
After 5-6 minutes of turnoff gas and add salt

When this cools down blend to sauce consistency.

Try it out

Hi! Concerned about the preservatives, colours and sugar in commercially available ketchup? Try this recipe of Tomato Peanut Chutney  as an alternative to the regular ketchup.

I guess you will have to look for smaller vendors in organic shops around. I don't know any biggie brands that are available everywhere.

I live in Gurgaon and there's an organic store near my place called 'I say organic'. Wonderful store, lots of good stuff there. I picked up an organic tomato sauce recently, gosh it was too bad.

Personally, the incidence of eating tomato sauce is quite less for me. So I like to eat the regular packaged one only :-). A close substitute for me is khattee meethee imli chutney. It is always stocked in my fridge, home made, jaggery based. My son has started liking it, preferring it to tomato sauce sometimes. Goes well with cutlets.

I am doubtful if such a product is available in the market. How can such a natural product last for months together without preservatives?

You can easily make ketchup at home. Steam some organic tomatoes, red capsicum, garlic, few raisins and garlic. Churn in the mixie after cooling. This may not be as thick as store-bought ketchup but the taste is good. You can add some nut butter for a little thickness.

Alternatively, get your kid used to homemade chutneys and dips. Wellcure has many tomato based recipes and sweetish chutneys in the recipes section.
