Hello Sachin,

Accumulation of toxins in the body results in pain and inflammation and in response to the attack of foreign particles in the body, our body raises the temperature. This toxin accumulation result due to an improper lifestyle and incorrect eating habits. When toxins get accumulated in our body then our body starts to give signs about the toxins. Body pain, tiredness, chills are all the signs that indicate that your body is loaded with the toxins. But, every health issue can be cured by adopting a natural lifestyle.


Diet

  • Start your day with 2, 3 glasses of warm water. This will help to move the toxins out of the body. 
  • Soak fenugreek seeds in a glass of water at night. In the morning, boil the water with a slice of ginger in it until the water becomes half. Then rinse it and drink. This drink will help to detoxify the body. 
  • Drink green tea twice a day, one in the morning on an empty stomach and the other at night before sleeping. 
  • Eat only the plant-based natural foods in your diet. 
  • Include salads, sprouts, nuts, and beans in your diet. 
  • Drink coconut water. 
  • Drink sufficient water to keep the body hydrated. 

Foods to avoid

  • Avoid sugars and sugary foods. 
  • Avoid refined grains and refined oil. 
  • Avoid dairy products and animal foods. 
  • Avoid processed and packaged foods. 
  • Avoid deeply fried oily foods and spicy foods. 
  • Avoid tea, coffee, and other caffeinated drinks. 
  • Avoid carbonated drinks. 

Exercise 

  • Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily.
  • Do neck rotation and move your neck from right to left then left to right. Also, move your neck up and down. Repeat these cycles 10 times.
  • Do bhujanga asana, paschimottan asana, gomukha asana, gala asana.
  • Do jogging for at least 20 min. 
  • Do pranayam regularly, specially anulom-vilom and kapalbhati pranayam. 
  • Take the sun rays in the morning. 

Sleep 

Sleeping is very important to build our immune system as when we sleep, our body releases cytokines which helps to fight against various infections. 

Take proper sleep of at least 7-8hours regularly. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning.

Common cause of neck pain can be cervical spondylosis is an inflammatory reaction which reduces the flexibility of our neck by fusing the small bones. According to our body it is a functional change, but the natural cause is an accumulation of all toxins.

The one thing to make sure is that you have deficiency. Our blood starts reacting to the antigens, which are the result of our chronic high fat diet and sedentary lifestyle. Even bad posture is a cause, which does not allow the required nutrition to get absorbed. Hence vitamin D deficiency is the reason your bones are becoming weaker and causing inflammation.

It is time to make some change in the lifestyle in order to treat the condition effectively. Here are a few guidelines which you can keep in mind in order to heal.

Eat:

The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature. Easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. The ideal diet would be to depend on fruits and raw vegetable intake and refrain from something which is oil-based. Have fruit salad in the afternoon time and vegetable salad as evening snack this will be light on your stomach.

  • Include calcium-rich food and increase vitamin D intake to support bone health.
  • Take one inch of ginger boiled in two cups of water and add 5-6 basil leaves, drink during evening time, this will relax your inflammation.
  • Have a diet which is rich in fruits, raw vegetables and whole grains will help in the treatment of cervical spondylosis.
  • Limit fats, animal products, processed or mixed foods, and try to drink eight to 10 glasses of water each day.

Exercise:

  • Daily physical activity is crucial for people with this disease. This can reduce pain and also improve your mobility, posture and helps you maintain your flexibility.
  • Practising good posture can help prevent spinal fusion in a stooped or deformed position. Not everyone will have a fusion in the spine, but practising good posture can help keep your spine in a place that looks and feels better.
  • Posture exercises should be practised daily to have the best impact on cervical to back spine. Sitting on a chair, look in the front, flex your neck, extend bring it to centre, extend upwards bring it to centre. Then slowly rotate. Do this set 10 times in order to increase circulation and your flexibility is maintained.

Massage can help you achieve that perfect mobility despite your disease. Massaging for 15-20 minutes is very important to improve blood circulation in that area. Massage with coconut or almond oil by warming it.

Meditation:

  • Practice mindful meditation.
  • Deal with your stress.
  • Allow positivity to be part of your life.

Doing 15-minute exercise before sleep about deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind, you can use music also for relaxation.

Sleep:

Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is very important in order to completely relax. In sleep what our body does is go through is the process of repair. Relax your self by taking a water bowl and 2-3 drops of essential oil, like orange and lavender which will help in relaxing the sleep. This will aid in treating any kind of inflammation.
