Hi... Iam currently having problems related to OCD and anxiety problems.... Can anyone give me some tips to manage?

नमस्ते

 

प्रतिदिन आप ख़ुद को प्यार दें अपने बारे में 10 अच्छी बातें कोरे काग़ज़ पर लिख कर और प्रकृति को अपने होने का धन्यवाद दे कर।

मानसिक समस्या भी इसी शरीर की समस्या है सब कुछ इस बात पर निर्भर करता है कि हम किसी भी परिस्थिति में सकारात्मक सोंच रखते हैं या नकारात्मक।

प्राकृतिक से जुड़ाव आपको सकारात्मक सोंच प्रदान करेंगी। क्योंकि प्राकृतिक जीवन शैली अपने आप में पूर्ण भी है और जीवंत भी है।5 तत्व से प्रकृति चल रही है। उसी 5 तत्व से हमारा शरीर चल रहा है।

1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें। शास्त्री संगीत वाद्य यंत्र द्वारा (instrumental classical song) सुनें।

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।

अपने कमरे में ख़ुशबूदार फूलों को रखें।

3 अग्Iनि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

4 जल तत्व- अपने नहाने के पानी में गुलाब रस या चम्पा रस या चमेली रस या निम्बू रस डाल कर नहाएँ। खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें। हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 

मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें।अब अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

 

सर पर सूती कपड़ा बाँध कर उसके ऊपर खीरा और मेहंदी या करी पत्ते का पेस्ट लगाएँ,नाभि पर खीरा का पेस्ट लगाएँ।पैरों को 20 मिनट के लिए सादे पानी से भरे किसी बाल्टी या टब में डूबो कर रखें।

5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा। आप सुबह खीरे का जूस लें, खीरा 1/2 भाग +धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है।

दोपहर में 12 बजे फिर से इसी जूस को लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ। शाम को नारियल पानी लें फिर 2 घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें, नारियल की गिरि मिलाएँ।

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ।

जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा।

खाने का एक नियम का पालन ज़रूर करें।ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल (liquid) को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस (solid) भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ (liquid) ले सकते हैं।

 

ऐसा करने से हाज़मा कभी ख़राब नहीं होगा।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

I was suffering from Generalized Anxiety Syndrome and Irritable bowel syndrome.

Ocd and anxiety are both results of the same unhealthy lifestyle and food habits. The more disturbed your digestion is, lesser is your minds capacity to handle anything.  

The solution to both is also the same. Your issue is the result of your current and past lifestyle and the cure would be a complete change to a healthy lifestyle. Changes you need to introduce in your routine :

1 Go out in the nature. Get sun exposure every morning and evening. 

2 Breath in fresh air and practice deep breathing. Learn pranayam.

3 Spend time in nature. Grow some plants and work with your bare hands. The more time you spend with the plants and trees, you will start feeling more relaxed and less depressed.

4 Eat lots of fresh locally grown seasonal ripe fruits and vegetables. Break your fast first thing in the morning with seasonal juicy fruits and do it as late in the morning as possible. You may have a simple lunch which consists of more veggies and less of whole grains. Dinner could be finished by 6 pm with either fruits or salads with sprouts and greens. Don’t eat after sunset.

5 Get physically active. Learn and practice yoga. It will help you move your toxins faster and help your body in eliminating and healing. The energy flow gets better through the body.

6 Be relaxed. Accept what ever is as it is and strive to make your self better. Let go of things and people, you can’t change or are of no use to you.

7 Declutter at all levels. Your home. Your life. Your gadgets, your body. Etc.

8 Sleep well. Rest well. Relax. 

9 Keep an eye on your bowel movements. Eliminate more than you consume.

In this generation, it is very common to be stressed about everything. You are not alone in this situation and there are many others with you.

This is due to poor diet and lifestyle is the main cause.

Spend more time with nature. The more time you interact with it, the more peaceful your mind becomes.
You need to spend time for yourself. Listen to peaceful music and avoid heavy ones.
Change your diet. Avoid meat, eggs and other non vegetarian foods and switch to vegetables mainly. Avoid normal salt and use rock salt.
During stressful situations, always look up to nature because nature always has a  solution to all our problems.
Try to complete all your tasks before hand. Postponing things is the main cause of tension and anxiety and finishing your work before the deadline can cause a great deal of stress relief for you.
Take an oil bath preferably with sesame oil to cool down your body as it is a natural stress reliver.
Spend time with nature and plants, trees. walking on bare foot in the garden will change your mind to positive vibration as well.

ocd occurs in different forms like ocd eating,ocd hoarding, ocd God , ocd cleaning. problem comes from negative programming. first you need to programme your self with good affirmations remove myths from ur mind wisdom in guidance right mentor do heart chakra meditation spend time with nature.

Obsessive and Compulsive Disorder is caused due to many factors. I am not sure if you are on meds, if you are not then that's the best. However, curing OCD naturally is possible if you are willing to program your thoughts. The main reason for any kind of psychological disorders starts with the inability of coping and lack of self confidence.

Firstly in order to replace your compulsions and obsessions you need to be conscious of learning and unlearning the old beliefs and limitations. 

You can do this with a therapeutic help. Therefore you need to find a professional who can therapeutically assist you in helping you to understand your own thought process and allowing you to consciously change or replace your Compulsive thought or behaviour . 

In food you need to start eating clean, refrain from everything that is refined..and switch to plant based diet including green vegetables and fruits.

Flax seeds work wonders for those that suffer from OCD. Eating roasted flax seeds will work wonders for you. Additionally also eat banana and infact Banana tea at night can help you sleep well. You can find Banana tea recipe on YouTube. 

Last but not the least, Physical exercise is important, it will help in balancing chemicals in your brain....and give you a relaxed mind.

OCD has two components - Obsessive thoughts and compulsive action. So if you have an obsession with washing hands or checking if the door is locked or not, then hands are dirty is an obsession and washing them is a compulsion.

Now forget the compulsive part. Stay with obsession. OCD is due to breach of trust. It triggers a lack of something which you were given before. This lack becomes an obsession. This lack has non-acceptance of reality. Acceptance of reality causes pain.

To heal your pain, there is a simple technique given in youtube video by Naveen Varshneya and further detailed in the book Meditation - The Cure. You can try with the book at home and cure your OCD and in case severe, you may need extra support which is available in our programs.

OCD Issues can be both deep-rooted emotional trauma, or toxicity in the body. This has to be handled at both levels.

Level one-deep-rooted emotional trauma
In this case what typically happens Is, Possibly as a child you had some experiences / uncomfortable situations/ a trauma / or any situation that became deep-rooted. Repeated exposures to similar issues/situations heats up a part of the brain that handles this emotion. Repeated exposure to similar situations and heating of the brain in only a particular area causes a mild burnout in parts of the brain. This hampers the electrical signals from passing very easily across that area. This can lead to many OCD situations

 

Level 2 - accumulation of toxins 

Among other toxins, accumulation of heavy metals is one of the major reasons for its OCD. Metal such as mercury aluminium copper et cetera can hamper the electrical impulses in the brain. Many of your decisions, getting up in the morning, brushing your teeth , doing some activities et cetera are based on electrical impulse that go across the brain / body carrying information. When that happens mercury and other heavy metals shortcircuit that electrical impulse. 

Body is actually designed to maintain homoeostasis. Hence when the electrical signal which was meant to go from place A to B, encounters a road hump, it keeps trying to go across the road hump which explains the repeated actions / thoughts that you might be trying to do / think . Your body will be trying to go from place A to place B and if it ain’t encounters a roadblock it will try to find another route to go to B. On the way to B in the Detour if it encounters another block because the brain is contaminated with deposits, you might have other symptoms. Hence cleaning yourself up from these heavy metals and other toxins is a must.

In addition to this you know that you are not able to control yourself from repeating some of these actions or thoughts but you know that you want to get away from that but you can’t, in such a stressful situation you will also be flooding your body with a huge dose of adrenaline which in turn corrodes your gut lining and can cause other auto immune issues.  Repeated fight or flight situations cannot be handled by the adrenal gland is on a daily basis.

 

1) 500ml cucumber juice upon waking and 2 more litres of fresh veg or green , fruit juices in the day

2) fruits for breakfast 

3) salads for lunch with lots of greens ( both juiced and whole green leaves)

4) millet based gluten free oil free dinner 

5) vegan non fluoride toothpaste 

6) use clay / iron / steel / glass for cooking and no other material must touch ur food

7) try to go organic to avoid heavy metals in pesticides 

8) avoid cooking with oils

9)elimination of all animal products dairy eggs meat fish 

10)no ready to eat foods from packets

11) no refined flour or oils 

12) sun exposure for 1 hr daily 

13) try breaking the habits to change the brain pattern although habits can be tough to change

14) have early dinner and sleep early 

15) yoga and pranayama 

16) inverted yoga poses to improve blood circulation to brain 

17) take cold head bath daily once a day ( just head alone)

Lots of juicing, greens and fruits are the key.
