It is an oil-free satvic recipe.
1. Wash Bhindi and pat dry with a cotton cloth. Cut into medium size pieces.
2. Apply a coating of dhaniya powder, turmeric powder and besan on chopped bhindi pieces. (Adding dry spice powder to bhindi will keep it non-sticky when you steam).
3. Steam bhindi in a steamer till it is cooked.
4. Heat a clay pot and add jeera for tadka. Allow jeera to crackle.
5. Then, add steamed bhindi and mix well. Turn off the flame.
6. Add salt, lemon juice and dhaniya powder. (You can replace lemon juice with amchur powder)
7. Serve hot.
