Store-bought mayo contains oil, preservatives and eggs. But children love mayo. You can provide a healthy alternative to your kids with this easy to make mayo. It is ready in a jiffy and being raw it is healthy too. Everyone in the family can enjoy without guilt.
There is no cooking involved jut soaking time. If your blender is powerful, there is no need to soak too. Just throw everything in the blender and creamy mayo is ready.
Optional: You can replace part of the cashews with any bland cooked vegetable like cooked cauliflower, potato, white beans, courgette etc. This reduces the fat content and cost too.
If mustard powder is not available, mustard seeds can be ground in the mixie. If making for kids, reduce the qty of mustard a bit.
