My wife is suffering from GERD disease/ acidity reflux.. When acidity comes she starts burping, she feels pain in chest. Bcz of this she is worried n her tension n depression increases

Consumption of pitta (fire) aggravating foods and foods of incompatible nature (virudh aahar) vitiates all the doshas, predominantly pitta dosha. Vitiated doshas produce heating toxins that are expelled upwards into the food pipe causing heartburn. Increased intake of tea or coffee, or oily, spicy, or fried foods aggravates pitta and leads to acidity. An aggressive nature and hyperactivity are also causal factors. Pitta is aggravated by late night work schedules, irregular eating patterns, and/or drinking alcoholic and carbonated beverages. Increased intake of painkillers and antibiotics also cause acidity and heartburn.

Symptoms
Chest pain

Heartburn

Pain while swallowing food

Avoid tea, coffee, and carbonated or alcoholic beverages.

Avoid processed and fermented foods.

Avoid using garlic, ginger, onions, tomatoes, and vinegar in cooking.

Also avoid rich gravies, sour, salty, and spicy foods.

Curd should be strictly avoided.

Take meals in a relaxed atmosphere at regular intervals.

Practice Yoga and Pranayama such as Vajrasana, Bhujangasana, Salabhasana, Bhastrika Pranayama, Shitali Pranayama and Shitkari Pranayama.

नमस्ते

 

हमारा शरीर ५तत्व से बना हुआ है वो पाँच तत्व का सामंजस्य ठीक प्रकार से होते ही शरीर पूर्णत्या स्वस्थ हो जाएगा।

1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें, रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें।

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ ऐसे १० चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है ये दिन में चार बार करें

खुले हवा में बैठें या टहलें

3 अग्नि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ सर और आँख को किसी सुती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपका सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गिला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के २ घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।पानी के जगह पर खीरा पीस कर कपड़े पर रख सकते हैं,

मेरुदंड ( स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें, हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में ३ दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 

5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा आप सुबह खीरे का जूस लें, खीरा१/२+धनिया पत्ती पीस लें, १०० ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ, 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है।

दोपहर में १२बजे फिर से इसी जूस को लें और इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ, शाम को नारियल पानी लें फिर २घंटे तक कुछ ना लें।रात के खाने में सलाद बिना नमक के खाएँ, सलाद में नारियल की गिरि और   लाल, हरा, शिमला मिर्च1/4हिस्सा हर एक का सलाद में मिलाएँ।

पानी या जूस को एक घूँट मुँह में लेकर 40गिनने यानी 40 sec तक मुँह में रखना है फिर घोंटना है ये हर समय करना है ,तरल पदार्थ लेते समय इस बात का ध्यान रखना है और खाना60 sec तक अच्छे से चबा कर खाएँ खाने को खाते समय बात करे TV, मोबाइल, देखते हुए ना खाएँ। हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें, शाम को 5बजे नारियल पानी फिर 2 घंटे बाद फल लें। 

एनिमा किट Amazon से माँगा लें हफ़्ते में एक दिन

एनिमा लें 200ml सादा पानी भर कर मल द्वार के अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल का त्याग करें।

ये एक ज़रूरी प्रक्रिया है इसको करें।

First of all, there is NO need to worry or get depressed. Commonest causes might be due to wrong dietary habbits and timings or obesity,improper life style habbits, over eating, less time between dinner and sleep etc might be the possible resons

cid reflux occurs when the acid is being pusing into the esophagus or food pipe. In initial stages it might not harm but if it becomes common it might cause a burning sensation in your food pipe, commonly known as heart burn. Sometimes this symptom could cause difficulty in swallowing food.

Some natural ways to manage it,

  • Dont Over eat - Avoid over eating. In Naturopathic philosophy we say that eat half stomach with solid food, quarter with water/liquids and quarter should be kept empty. Also make a point to avoid heavy meals and too much oily foods or spices ( north indian curries specially )
  • Lose weight - Sometimes fat accumulation on the abdomen could push the intestines or abdominal structures downwards and could possibly cause a condition called hiatus hernia. Hence loosing weight must be very important measure to undertaken if you are over weight.
  • Consume low carbs - Consumption of large quantity of carbs could result in poor digestion in the GIT. It always wise to consume in less quantity.
  • Avoid coffee/alcohol/carbonated drinks. Avoiding these could be help too
  • Eat less of chocolates and drink less citrus fruit juices
  • Avoid eating raw onions if at all you have an habbit
  • Give atleast three hours of time gap between your dinner and sleep.
  • Keep your head in a elevated position when you sleep.

Acidity is known as acid reflux disorder. when the food enters our stomach normally our stomach has a protective mechanism called valves in the entrance of the stomach is also known as lower esophagus sphincter and normally when the food passes through it gets closed so that there will be no back push of food occur. if it opens too often, acid produced by your stomach can move up into your esophagus and it leads to discomfort and heartburn etc.it include symptoms like bloating, burping, flatulence, dysphagia, burning sensation in the gut, regurgitation a sour or bitter-tasting acid felt in the mouth or throat, etc.

I advise you to follow a good diet throughout your whole life implimenting plant based healthy lifestyle, which will help you cure you acidity problem for a long run.

  1. Drink early morning water at least 2- 3 glasses of water before going to washroom.
  2. Include green leafy vegetable in your meals including bottle gaurd, spinach, ashguard, cucumber, ridgeguard, pumpkin, beetrooat etc.
  3. include fruits rich in vitamin k and potassium like banana, papaya, pineapple, dragon fruit.
  4. include early morning ashguard juice in your diet it will help in fight acid reflux and improving digestive sysytem.
  5. include herbs like jeera, ginger, garlic, fennel, basil or mint leaves in your diet.

Greetings !

Acid is created in the body with every action, whether breathing , walking , digesting or other physiological activities. However, acid created during physiological activities gets neutralised with rest and doesn't cause acidity. The whole body however has an overall disposition which is slightly alkaline. Ted Morter has summed this up well , he says ," Body is acidic by function but alkaline by nature."

Here are some habits to get rid of acidity from your Body:-

1. Gargle and Drink Green Juice - Green juices  can be made from Bael fruit leaves{ Stone Apple} /Curry leaves/ Wheat grass or local grass in the park called Durva grass/ Tulsi /Basil leaves etc. 

Use one leaf at a time and keep changing these for each day of the week. These are rich in Chlorophyll, which is very similar to blood and rejuvenates and nourished the body. Cravings will fall drastically when you have drunk this juice, 120 ml or more daily for 1 week. Drink this first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach and leave a gap of 1 hour or 2 , before eating something.

2. Morning Breakfast of Fruits -

Fibre is present in abundance in Fruits. Fibre has the quality of expanding when eaten, and allows for a very good broom to clean our intestines, plus it fills you up with lesser quantity of intake. Begin your day with fruits for breakfast. Since they will help clean your body, your mouth ulcers will diminish plus better food absorption means all that effort you are putting in changing your lifestyle, is not going down the drain.Organic produce is the best of course!

3. Eat only when hungry- Eating without hunger means the body is busy with the digestion process of food that was eaten earlier. The addition of fresh food, into the stomach or small intestine, where earlier food is already being mixed with the acidic gastric juices, leads to increase in acidity, as body is overcompensating by releasing extra gastric juices, which increases the acidity in the body !

4. Chewing every bite- Once food is thoroughly mixed with the alkaline amylase in the mouth, digestive juices in the stomach can easily break it down further. 

5. Remove all tinned, canned , processed, packaged, bottled foods and readymade icecreams:-

All above food contains ACIDITY Regulators ! Replace all packaged food with green vegetables fresh and cooked, and fresh fruits daily

Positive thoughts create internal space, allowing old, unneeded patterns and thoughts to be eliminated and cleaned from the mind-body. William Davis , a molecular biologist has shown how on a cellular level, thoughts like fear and anger, close the cell membrane , preventing waste material to be removed and fresh nutrients from reaching inside the cells. Whilst during feelings of love and peace, these very cell membranes open up, allowing exchange of waste matter and nutrients with the lymph system.

8. Go through the day slowly - What's the rush ? - Our body is always rebalancing itself , but this needs time ! When we rush everywhere, keep busy during each and every minute of the day, we simply do not allow the body the time, space and energy to balance.

9. Reduce time spent in Digestion - The more number of times you eat, the less opportunity for the body to heal the mouth ulcers. Allow a gap of 16 to 20 hours by having your last meal in the afternoon at 4 p.m. and eating your fruit breakfast next morning at 9 or 10 a.m. 

10. Replace Animal Foods with Whole Plant based foods- Refined foods are completely devoid of minerals, and everything that is digested in our body , requires the presence of minerals. Foods that have low or missing mineral content, cause loss of minerals from the body , as digestive process uses up a fair amount.

11. Walk on some Grass - It is something so natural, yet so ignored. New research is now showing the benefit of earthing , by sitting on grass and lying outside. US doctors are now prescribing forest therapy to treat their patients as varying conditions as diabetes to thyroid. Hormonal balance after all is deeply linked to Acid Base Balance.

 भोजन का सही से पाचन ना होने, बात करते हुए भोजन करने, अधिक मात्रा में भोजन करने ,हंसते हुए ,क्रोध, ईर्ष्या, चिंता ,तनाव की अवस्था में भोजन करने की अवस्था में ऐसा होता है।

  •  नींद -रात्रि में 7 से 8 घंटे की नींद अवश्य ले इससे शरीर से दूषित पदार्थ बाहर निकालते हैं ,नई कोशिकाओं का निर्माण होता है।
  • प्रतिदिन प्रातः गुनगुने पानी नींबू एवं शहर का सेवन करें आप की दीवारें फैलती हैं ,दूषित पदार्थ बाहर निकलते हैं ।
  • जूस- लौकी या अनार के जूस का सेवन करें ।
  • भोजन- 80% मौसमी फल व हरी पत्तेदार सब्जियों का सेवन करें इससे भोजन का पाचन आसानी सेे होता है।

Dear health seeker  ,The  root cause of all diseases acidity, acid reflux  or of  total  gastrointestinal  diseases including, is 'Dyspepsia ',whose  management  through  basic nature cure requires  total  discipline and  entire  reforms of  eating habits in general and complete  lifestyle  changes are  warranted. You will have to follow the  eternal laws governing our organism  will  definitely  ensure freedom from all diseases symptoms including  your specific  stomach ailments. Please follow as under:-
   1 ensure to  eat only when sufficient  true  hunger is there to  digest the  food eaten. We must  eat to  live  and not  live to eat 
2.As a  start  drink  any  alkaline  juice either of the following, ashgourd, bilva patra  banana pith. 
  3.Sun bathing in early morning sun for  25 minutes, followed by spinal bath or  full bath 
4..Some simple  yogic  aasanas 
5..A  wet  pack over abdomen for 20 minutes 
   6..Fruit salads or  vegetables salads in  breakfast 
   7..Conservatively  cooked  vegetables and  raw  salads with  enough  coconut scrappings 
8...Fruit  juice  at or  around  4PM if  there's  a  sufficiency of  hunger, if not then avoid
