Citrus fruits, like orange are nature’s Vitamin C supplements - to keep cold and flus at bay! Oranges are available in abundance during the winter months and must be consumed in ample amount. This quick-to-do recipe puts together orange juice with pomegranate juice to create a healthful, visual delight.
This simple recipe will help you to take your daily dose of Vitamin C! And ofcourse, eating seasonal fruits is even better, since that's when all of their health properties are at peak potential.
You would also need: Citrus squeezer (optional). Can extract juice with hands as well.
Cut the orange horizontally and extract the juice with the squeezer or with hands.
Collect and keep separately.
Put the pomegranate seeds with ½ glass water into your blender and grind into a smooth paste, till all the seeds are finely ground.
Sieve juice using the ¼ glass of water to extract the maximum. Keep seperate.
Mix the orange juice and pomegranate juice.
Add slivers of strawberries if you want to indulge.
Chill the juice a bit.
Wellcure Tip:
You can make a non-alcoholic sangria by adding strawberries and apples!
