I am anaemic. What things to add in diet for increasing haemoglobin

Anaemia is a condition in which blood does not have a sufficient amount of haemoglobin for that you have to consume food products which should be rich in iron and vitamins 
Some food which helps in anaemia condition is 
Use jaggery with nuts 
Pumpkin seeds 
All greeny vegetables like spinach, mint
etc
Dry fruits like almond 
Daily some yoga like anulom vilom, tadasan etc it helps you

Hy....i suggest you to take beetroot juice one glass daily in early morning empty stomach continuosly for atleast 14 days.you will see results yourself.
Try to include green leafy vegetables in diet and some healthy fruits.

Hello,

Avoid all the junk food,street food,packaged and deep fried food items.
Take homemade wheatgrass juice.
Have a plant based diet like green leafy vegetables, fruits like pomegranate, banana,sprouts, nuts.
Soak raisins overnight and have it in the morning .
Have jaggery, anjir,khajur. 
Avoid tea and coffee, specially before and after a meal.

Anaemia is the condition when your body is deprived of iron rich foods. Therefore, the most important thing is to alter your diet and increase your iron rich food intake in the body daily.

Vitamin C- is a great source to absorb iron in the body, You can star your day with Orange juice that is fresh organic organce juice.

Vegan Yogurt with Turmeric- This is an ancient Ayurveda technique. You can use home made vegan yogurt and add a little bit of turmeric to it, you can use creativity by also adding a spatter of mustard seeds and some fresh coriander and chilly to make it a lunch delicacy.

Green vegetables such as Spinach, Celery, Mustard Greens, Broccoli are a great source of iron, and you can include them in your diet every day.

Beetroot and Pomegranate juice during the snack time early evening can also be a great source of iron boost in your body.

Raisins and dates can be part of your snack in the morning hours and they are a great source in absorbing iron in the body.

Copper Water- if you can drink water from the copper vessel early in the morning, this is the best ancient remedy that helps in naturally releasing iron in your body.

I would say we must look into what things we should remove from our diet to improve our haemoglobin  or overall blood quality.

Foods to be removed

1 All packaged and processed outside food-like substances.

2 Refined flour and refined oil

3 All types of stimulants like tea and coffee. If you drink alcohol then that too must be stopped.

4 All overcooked, deep-fried oily food.

Foods to be included

1 Fresh locally grown seasonal fruits - 50% of daily intake

2 Fresh seasonal vegetables and greens - 35% of daily intake

3 Grains - soaked or sprouted or steamed - 10 % of daily intake

4 soaked nuts and seeds - 5% of daily intake

And understand this - it is not only the food that influences your quality of blood but many other things too matter equally. 

1 Learn Pranayam and yoga for relaxing your mind, improving your flexibility and activating your lymphatic system.

2 Get good sun exposure either in the early hours of the morning or a couple of hours before sunset. 

3 Get in touch with Mother Earth. Do some gardening with your hands or at least walk barefoot on sand or mud. Sit in parks or lie on the ground or lawns and relax.

4 Keep an eye on your bowel movement. See to it that your bowels are always functioning normally. Eliminate larger quantities than what you eat.

5 Rest and relax well. Sleep in the earlier part of the night and sleep through the night. Wake up before or with the sun.

6 Be well hydrated. Consume a lot of juicy fruits veggies and greens to hydrate yourself well.

7 Get your body moving, do yoga or participate in any outdoor sport, walk or do some gardening. Moving your body will support the removal of toxins and free flow of vitality

8 Be happy always. Don’t let life’s negativities to bog you down. Always be positive.

Follow these principles and as you go on eliminating toxins and discarding all damaged unhealthy tissues you will start seeing a great change in your overall health.

Hello... 
    Take soaked dry black grapes on every morning. 
      Take fresh juices.. Especially pomegranate. 
      Add sprouted grams and dates in your diet. 
      Go to bed early. 
     Take bath in cold water.

      You haven't mentioned whether you are a male or female, first find out whether you have a chronic blood loss, such as excessive menstrual bleeding if female or the blood loss can also be due to hemorrhoids, gingival bleeding, nasal bleeding and so on. If there is an underlying liver disease or kidney disease, it can cause Anemia. Assuming you don't have an underlying pathology, the most common cause of Anemia in India is an iron defeciency one, folate deficiency may also lead to Anemia, lack of vitamin C and beta carotene may lead to impaired absorption of iron, excess intake of calcium in the form of supplements may interfere with iron absorption, similarly excess phytic acid may impede absorption of iron.
 Follow a nutritious plant based diet with emphasis on food with increased iron, folate, vitamin C and beta carotene, such as green leafy vegetables, a variety of beans including soy, citrus fruits and exercise regularly with a good sleep pattern. Your haemoglobin will surely start to rise. Wish you health and happiness.

You may take care to add these in your diet

  1. Consume iron rich foods like soy, dried fruits ( figs and dates ),nuts, beans,seeds, brocolli, green leafy vegetables like lettuce, spinnach etc
  2. Combine your diet with spiinach, red or brown rice,lettuce, avagado, kidney beans,peas which could increase your folate.
  3. Consume foods rich in Vit- C to boost up your iron absorption. Foods like strawberries, citrus fruits and green leafy vegetables are rich source of Vit-C
  4. Vit- A and Betacarotene are important to absorb the iron consumed and utilise it in the body. Rich source of Betacarotene include carrots, squash,mangoes and sweet potatoes etc.

Other tips;

  • You may also soak dried grapes over night and consume the water and dried grapes on empty stomach.
  • Drinking dates syrup also might work
  • You may use palm jaggery instead of sugar which is a good source of iron.

Add green leafy vegetables such as spinach ,kale 
- go for fruits such as oranges , Strawberries and other vit c rich fruits .
- add beans such as kidney beans,chickpeas,soybean ,black-eyed peas ,black beans,peas etc.
- add nuts and seeds such as ,pumpkin seed ,cashew ,pistachio, sunflower seeds.

  • Add dry fruits and nuts in your daily diet routine. 
  • Drink Carrot beetroot amla juice daily in the morning.
  • Take black raisin soaked in water and dates. 
  • Take more green vegetable and green leafy vegetables daily. 
  • Curry leaves, spinach are more beneficial.
  • Add Jaggery,  ragi, millets in your diet. 
  • Avoid white sugar, maida, preservative foods and fried food items.

नमस्ते

 

शरीर 5 तत्व से बना हुआ है प्रकृति की ही तरह।

आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल, पृथ्वी ये पाँच तत्व आपके शरीर में रोज़ खुराक की तरह जाना चाहिए।

पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है। रक्त प्रवाह और रक्त सरंचनाएँ इस आहार शुद्धि से ठीक जाती हैं।

 

1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें।

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।

खुली हवा में बैठें या टहलें।

3 अग्नि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 

5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा। आप सुबह खीरे का जूस लें, खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है।

दोपहर में 12 बजे चुकंदर1/2 + पान पत्ता1/2 पीस कर 100ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ।शाम को 5 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ashguard) 20 ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी मिला। 2घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें, ताज़ा नारियल की मिलाएँ। रात का खाना 8 बजे खाएँ

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ, बहुत फ़ायदा होगा। पृथ्वी तत्व को शरीर में डालने का एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल (liquid) को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें। ठोस (solid) भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ (liquid) ले सकते हैं।

ऐसा करने से हाज़मा कभी ख़राब नहीं होगा।

जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

My mother was anaemic all her life and the reason given by doctors was that her red blood cells had a different shape by birth. Sounds weird to me. But this went on for all her life until she turned vegan around 2016 or so. She is 65 now.  She has changed her lifestyle to a vegan lifestyle, switched her cooked to whole food millets and rice. No sugar maida etc. She does not take dairy. She was already regular in yoga and pranayama, but these food changes made drastic changes in her conditions. We also realised that her haemoglobin count became Normal and also good enough to donate blood.

Some of the key changes that will help

Remove all animal-derived foods like dairy eggs meat fish

sugar maida processed and packed foods

refined oils and foods containing refined oils

only fruits for breakfast till 12pm

green juice upon waking

Every 15 days fasting on juices or fruits or full raw

yoga and pranayama.

switch to oil free cooking

thanks and in 3-5 months it will become normal unless I don’t know about other complications you are suffering from.
