I got my molar root canal done which is quite near to the throat I believe. I was put on combiflam five days first then after second visit to the dentist again for four days..... All this because my jaw is paining while opening the mouth. It's been twenty days but still I can't open my mouth properly without pain. Please guide.

I have got my wisdom tooth’s removed with a procedure and stitches were also done.. when it came up in the corners of my tiny jawline without any meds. The first day pain was crucial I must agree but as 1-2 days passed, it reduced. The doctors scared me and told me to take antibiotics and I did not . I was on juices and later on only fruits and in 9 days the removable stitches actually came out automatically while rinsing my mouth one day which the dentist was surprised to see. You need to keep rinsing your mouth with salt water after every food and drink too. This routine helps in any issues in the mouth. Avoiding any form of animal products, and things like sugar is crucial for long term maintainance of the dental hygiene . hydrate the body with water content from fruits veggies and greens coconut water and making a habit of mindful eating by chewing well your drinks and solids is extremely important.

केवल नारियल पानी लें। एक घुँट मुँह भरें और 40 गिन्ने तक मुँह में रखें फिर घुँट अंदर लें।
ऐसे दो दिन करें अम्लीय शरीर में कोई भी तकलीफ़ लम्बे समय तक रहती है क्षरिए शरीर तकलीफ़ जल्दी ठीक होगा।
आपका मुख्य आहार ये हुआ तो बहुत अच्छा हो जाएगा।
1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें।
आपका मुख्य आहार ये हुआ तो बहुत अच्छा हो जाएगा।

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।
खुली हवा में बैठें या टहलें।
3 अग्नितत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।
4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।
मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें।
5 पृथ्वी- कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। नारियल पानी, पेठे का जूस लें। खीरा 1/2 भाग +धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। बेल पत्ता 8 से 10 पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर लें। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ।एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ ले सकते हैं।
ऐसा करने से हाज़मा कभी ख़राब नहीं होगा।

I would sincerely suggest you to get back to your dental surgeon as there might be still some infection in the tooth or even might be there that some infection still persists in your tooth as a result of improper root canal treatment or discontinuation of antibiotics given by your dental surgeon.
In your condition Naturopathic medicine might have limited cure at this stage of treatment.
I assume you don't have pain in the tooth which was root canal treated, but you have difficulty in opening your mouth and pain when opening your mouth, this is because of a hematoma formation within the muscles or due to a muscle spasm which might have occurred while giving a mandibular nerve block.
Do a warm salt water gargle, every one to two hours with forceful mouth opening(physiotherapy), you will improve day by day and you will be completely alright within a week.
Eat a balanced plant based diet and wish you health and peace.
