Namaste Akanksha Sharma

The child is still too young to be prescribed medicines. Instead what she needs is counselling. Her parents need to be counselled and adviced to look at her failure in the exam differently. They need to understand that the child has some special quality in her. And am sure as parents they would have noticed or understood about her by now. So ask them to encourage her in that field instead of battling with something she Might not be very comfortable with at the moment. She needs her parents unconditional support and love. They can divert her attention towards what she is good at and she can start involving in it to get back her self esteem. She has all the potential to be what she wants to be. The only thing she needs at the moment is someone to show her just that. And along with this we can look into the physical aspects too as given below.

Anxiety, stress or depression is the result of our current and past lifestyle. Due to imbalanced lifestyle which is not at all in sync with nature our body starts accumulating a lot of toxins. The toxins also result in a toxic blood which in turn nourishes our brains. So when the brain is fed by toxic blood it lacks in proper nourishment. So the undernourished brain is not able to function normally or think clearly. This results in confusion, sadness, helplessness anxiety, depression, or any negative trait. So the cure would be a complete change to a healthy lifestyle. The changes should be such that we live completely in sync with nature. Let’s see what changes you need to make in your routine:

1 Go out in the nature. Get sun exposure every morning and evening. The sun lightens the mood. Nourishes the  cells. Enriches the  blood. Nourishes the nervous system.

2 Breath in fresh air and practice deep breathing. Learn pranayam. This will nourish the blood with pure oxygen. The deeper the breath the lesser the stress or worry or depression.

3 Spend time in nature. Grow some plants and work with bare hands. The more time one spends with the plants and trees, he or she will start feeling more relaxed and less depressed.

4 Eat lots of fresh locally grown seasonal ripe fruits and vegetables. Break the  fast first thing in the morning with seasonal juicy fruits and do it as late in the morning as possible. She may have a simple lunch which consists of more veggies and less of whole grains. Dinner could be finished by 6 pm with either fruits or salads with sprouts and greens. Don’t eat after sunset.

5 Get physically active. Learn and practice yoga. It will help to move the  toxins faster and help the body in eliminating and healing. The energy flow gets better through the body.

6 Be relaxed. Accept what ever is as it is and strive to make her self better. Let go of things and people, she can’t change or are of no use to her

7 Declutter at all levels. Her room. Her life. Her gadgets, her body. Etc.

8 Sleep well. Rest well. Relax.

9 Keep an eye on the bowel movements. Eliminate more than she consumes.

10 She will have a liking for something very much or she may have a certain unique talent. Practice giving back to the society in some form or the other. Do something for others that will make a difference in their lives. Whether she gets something in return or not. Just let her do it. Giving away happiness brings it back to us manufold.

These are just basic guidelines. Try to follow them and you will certainly see changes in her self.

Be happy be healthy always

Hello !!!

It's very unfortunate that Psychiatrist prescribe meds rather than encouraging patients to consider taking Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Please advice her to ask the Psychiatrist to taper the drugs slowly...and in the mean time she can take assistance from a Mental health Practitioner for talk therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

She can also use sound therapy to slowly heal from depression. Sound therapy needs to be custom made.

In diet, she can eat lot of sprouts and green vegetables, plant based yogurt, to heal from depression. Kindly ask her to avoid Carbs or refined or processed foods.

She needs to expose herself to the first rays of the sun for Vitamin D. Secondly practicing Mindfulness can help her to program her mind as well....

Regards

First of all she needs a good counselling session with some assistive Yoga sessions ( Meditations and Breathing exercises )

Counselling session would make her come out of the depressive stage and boost up her confidence levels and also make her understand what strategies could she undertake to pass out of the exams  with flying colours

An assistive yoga sessions consisting of mediations and pranayamas could be useful

Other mind diversion therapies could also work

Lastly the most important point is that the parents, teachers and society must understand and help her to come out this problem in a more matured and positive way rather than showing a negative opinion towards her.

Hello Akansha, greetings
Psychiatric illnesses are mainly due to a diet deficient in the essential nutrients and more of junk food, including milk and milk products, gluten, processed food, these patients have leaky gut wherein toxins are easily absorbed.
Advice them to avoid the bad stuff and take more of the good stuff, like fresh organic fruits and vegetables, she should have a balance of the omega 3's and omega-6's , encourage to take more omega 3 rich food such as flax, hemp, chia seeds. Walnuts and also blue-green algae.
The gut is the second brain and a lot of neurotransmitters such as serotonin is produced here, so it important to have a healthy gut. Also take a lot of fermented food, such as sauerkraut, kimchi, kvass and so on., to balance and maintain healthy intestinal flora. Advice her to take food rich in the b-complex vitamins, zinc and vitamin c., especially niacin.
Read the books written by psychiatrist Abram Hoffer, who has dealt with thousands of schizophrenics and Depressive patients through a holistic approach.

Tell her what is her goal which is breaking the sackle of life and not to surrender or divert from that
Tell her stories of achiever after so many fails
Let her bloom in unconditional support and love from family
Ask her to forget everything while concentration on her forehead by practicing Tratka let her throw everything thought in hurried manner and be thought less as early she can
Head Sanan pad sanan and light foods with light moods preferably of her choice will calm mind as mind is so, as the abdomen is.
Let her walk bare footed for hrs to transfer calm from South to North
If possible practice of sirsasan will help her
Let her sit on the bank of water and practice Tratka on water by releiving all her anxiety and thought in the lap of water body. One week of this practice is enough to release all tensions and asking for the new path since water is largest and strongest tatwa of the universe moreover it is nutrilizer and observer also. 2ndly mind is made up of more than 90 percent of water.
Let her fast on lemon water to release more serotonin and dopamine.
Parent should regularly pray for her mind peace and success in future. Their live and affection is greater than wholesome.
