Is frozen shoulder curable?

Good morning Ms. Suman, 

Frozen shoulder is curable but it needs aggressive treatments. If its not treated properly it can be permanent. Treatment ls includes ultrasound, electric stimulation , ice packs,  strengthening exercises, exercises to improve range of motion(flexion,internal and external rotation and abduction) are advised. 

Few shoulder strenthend yoga exercise also beneficial in case of frozen shoulder. 

Asanas like Garudasana, ustarasana  and paschim namaskarasana also advised to get rid of frozen shoulder.

So frozen shoulder is again because of inflammation of the tissue surrounding the shoulders joints which becomes inflamed. In nature Cure, inflammation is also one of the stages of the disease. You can handle this inflammation by eliminating certain wrong foods such as dairy, eggs, fish, meat, Sugar and other processed and refined foods. After eliminating the above, it’s very important that you include fruits vegetable juices and green juices and greens in abundance. Reduce your intake of Grains, and substitute that with plenty of fresh produce. The hydration from vegetable juices tender coconut, lime water will definitely play a major role in reducing the inflammation. Include exposure to early morning sun for about 30 to 40 minutes. Along with this, take plenty of rest and you can also apply a wet cloth to your shoulders every other hour to help in blood circulation.

1 A plant based cleansing and healing diet is the first requisite.

2 Slowly start practicing simple body movements. Do as long as you enjoy it. If the action is painful, stop immediately and rest. As the body gets freer and more relaxed start with formal yoga under some trained guru.

3 You may try hot and cold fomentation on the affected parts of the body every night before going to bed.

4 Get an oil massage done by a trained masseur to get you some relief.

These are just some points to begin with. But for a proper cleansing and healing you will have to look deeper into your lifestyle and food habits.

I would say we must look into what things we should remove from our diet to improve our over all health quality.

Foods to be removed

1 All packaged and processed outside food-like substances.

2 Refined flour and refined oil

3 All types of stimulants like tea and coffee. If you drink alcohol then that too must be stopped.

4 All overcooked, deep-fried oily food.

5 Stop consuming eggs, meat fish and dairy 

Foods to be included

1 Fresh locally grown seasonal fruits - 50% of daily intake

2 Fresh seasonal vegetables and greens - 35% of daily intake

3 Grains - soaked or sprouted or steamed - 10 % of daily intake

4 soaked nuts and seeds - 5% of daily intake

And understand this - it is not only the food that influences your quality of health but many other things too matter equally. 

1 Learn Pranayam and yoga for relaxing your mind, improving your flexibility and activating your lymphatic system.

2 Get good sun exposure either in the early hours of the morning or a couple of hours before sunset. 

3 Get in touch with Mother Earth. Do some gardening with your hands or at least walk barefoot on sand or mud. Sit in parks or lie on the ground or lawns and relax.

4 Keep an eye on your bowel movement. See to it that your bowels are always functioning normally. Eliminate larger quantities than what you eat.

5 Rest and relax well. Sleep in the earlier part of the night and sleep through the night. Wake up before or with the sun.

6 Be well hydrated. Consume a lot of juicy fruits veggies and greens to hydrate yourself well.

7 Get your body moving, do yoga or participate in any outdoor sport, walk or do some gardening. Moving your body will support the removal of toxins and free flow of vitality

8 Be happy always. Don’t let life’s negativities to bog you down. Always be positive.

Follow these principles and as you go on eliminating toxins and discarding all damaged unhealthy tissues you will start seeing a great change in your overall health.

  • HEALING DIET:Anti inflammatory
  • turmeric, omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium and CoQ10
  • Spirulina is a natural source of Proteins, Vitamins & minerals. Hence intake of Spirulina along with Black pepper should help with Frozen shoulder
  • Black sesame seeds are rich sources of calcium and magnesium, the two essential minerals for healthy bones and joints.
  •  Having black sesame seeds regularly reduces the symptoms of frozen shoulder appreciably.
  •  Soak one teaspoonful of black sesame seeds in water overnight and have it next morning.
  •  You can roast black sesame seeds and have it with salad and soups
  • Crush 2-3 garlic cloves and heat it in a cup of mustard oil over a low flame until the smell of garlic evolves.
  •  Massage the mixture gently on your painful shoulder joints for a few minutes.
  • This treatment is effective when applied at night before going to bed.
  • Long hours of rest after the massage produce the best result.

Frozen shoulder, or any other part of the body which turns numb, is a phenomenon which occurs when an emotion is trapped in the body. Broadly speaking frozen shoulder is burden of some responsibility. It is not a very difficult thing to cure in any system where energy balancing, and attention on emotions is the central theme of the cure, such as ours.

नमस्ते

शरीर में अम्लीयता अधिक होने से यह समस्या होती है।आपके शरीर में excess प्रोटीन बन रहा या जमा है। आपका पाचन तंत्र (digestive system) प्रोटीन को पचा नहीं पा रहा। इसी कारण से शरीर में दाह  (inflammation) पैदा हो रही है।

इस बीमारी का कारण ख़राब हाज़मा और क़ब्ज़ हो सकता है। आहार शुद्धि इस बीमारी का निवारण कर सकता है। 

पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा है। 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है।

1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें।

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।

खुली हवा में बैठें या टहलें। मेरुदंड spine सीधा रखें। 

3 अग्नि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें और खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा करें। जंहा दर्द है वंहा पर खीरा+

नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें। दिन में दो बार तिल के तेल से घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में

और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें।

खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें और खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा करें।

मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 

5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा। आप सुबह सफ़ेद पेठे 20ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है।

दोपहर में 12 बजे फिर से इसी जूस को लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ।शाम को 5 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ashguard) 20 ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी मिला। 2घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurad) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें। ताज़ा नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। 

रात का खाना 8 बजे खाएँ।

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ। नमक सेंधा ही प्रयोग करें। नमक की मात्रा dopahar के खाने में भी बहुत कम लें। सब्ज़ी पकने बाद उसमें नमक नमक पका कर या अधिक खाने से शरीर में (fluid)  की कमी हो जाती है। चीनी कभी नहीं लें उसके जगह गुड़ या सुखे फल का सेवन करें। एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल (liquid) को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें। ठोस (solid) भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ (liquid) ले सकते हैं।

ऐसा करने से हाज़मा कभी ख़राब नहीं होगा।

जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद।

Yes Suman, frozen shoulder is certainly curable. You need to actually do some exercises and move your shoulder by making movements with your hands. Also, if you practice mindfulness of having a normal shoulder as it was before for atleast 1:08 minutes....everyday you will definitely see a change in your shoulder. I feel you can use the power of your subconscious mind to bring divine healing. Also, don't be complaining about it all the time, just be action oriented and you will see the results.

Yes, frozen shoulder might be managed well by Natural therapies

  1. Apply hot or cold water application. If hot water then you could pour on the painful area for 5 minutes or time that you could tolerate the heat. If cold it could be applied moe time. Even wet compress could also be applied.
  2. Exercise therapy could be more beneficial. A trained Physical therapist could help with the exact set of exercises to manage frozen shoulder.
  3. Give support to the shoulder affected as this could reduce the pain by the support.

Yes , frozen shoulder is pretty much curable without any use of Medication  . You just need to visit a physiotherapist or any Naturopathic center .
