When the body is highly enervated or exhausted due to overstress, overthinking or over toxins in your body it starts showing in the form of exhaustion resulting in insomnia or sleeplessness. This condition is easily reversible. You just need to make some changes in your lifestyle and food habits.
1 where do you start? Start with your food. Start eating clean. Remove all refined flour, oil, processed sugar, white salt etc from your daily diet. Stop eating outside food. Stop consumption of processed and packaged food-like stuff. What can you eat? Lots of fresh, locally grown, seasonal fruits. You can start your day every day with it. Have more fruits for lunch. And let your dinner be a large bowl of salad with lots of greens, sprouted grains or soaked nuts. Finish eating before sunset, so that your body gets enough time to digest, assimilate the nutrients and send the waste towards the exit for elimination. If you continue eating late at night the body doesn't get enough time to do its functions properly.
2 Become active. Go for walks, do yoga or participate in some active sport daily. This will also improve your metabolism. Learn pranayama And Omkar chanting too. Learn some mantra chanting.
3 Connect with nature. Go out in the sun. Get enough exposure to the suns rays, breath fresh air and do some gardening too. Sleep well. rest well.
4 Look into your life for energy vampires. Do you have a stressful life? Do you have a stressful job? Do you drink alcohol? Do you smoke? If yes for all then stop and change.
5 Follow a simple bedtime routine. Prepare hot water which is bearable and fill a bucket until 3/4. You may add rock salt to it. Put your feet in it and place a cold wet towel on your head. Relax and enjoy the warmth in your legs. Feel all the stress, tiredness and drunkenness are flowing out of your feet into the hot water. Feel your body become lighter and relaxed. Stay that way for more than 15 mts as long as you enjoy it. Remove your feet from the water. Pat, it dry and apply some cold-pressed coconut oil on it. Apply coconut oil on the top of your head too. Do slight massage and relax. Now sit in your bed, close your eyes and do deep breathing for 5 mts. Then chant Omkar 7 times. Do some mantra chanting. Finish with some more deep breathing. Now lie in your bed and continue to watch your breath and breath deeply. You will soon fall asleep.
6 You can also try a spinal bath. Lie in a tub filled with water up to 3 inches. Let your backbone be in the water. Cover your head with a cold wet cloth. Lie there, breath deeply and relax. This also relaxes you and induce sleep.

Insomnia is result of mental n physical illness both. hence, hou should work on both. to cure mental illness you should practice meditation n learn to live in the present moment. listen good music. keep your bedroom clean use light colours wear comfortable clothes use aroma oil in room for good mood. avoid negative company.
To cure physical illness you should avoid coffee heavy meals inflammatory food. spice,oily food. eat nutritional food which is digest and good for health.
raw food like fruits dry fruits salad are more nutritional n beneficial than cooked food . try to eat atleast 3hours before bed time. walk after every meal .

Hy...i suggest you to take hot foot immersion daily in night before sleep.
Take a good acupuncture setting from a good doctor.
Remove stress and tension through daily practice of meditation and yoga.

Hi when there is so much going in mind, it becomes sometimes difficult to sleep. Try below things and it may help you.
1. Make a habit of writing before you sleep. It will clear some thoughts from your mind.
2. Eat before two hours of your sleeping.
3. Apply Natural Lavender oil on your temples and give a very little massage.
4. Listen to some calm music before you sleep.
5. Watch your breath and remember good moments of your life.
May you get good sleep.
Lets first understand what Insomnia. It happens because of poor sleeping habits, lack of exercise etc. Following below will help you to reduce it.
1. Make a daily habit of writing your thoughts before you sleep. Sometimes anything unresolved in our mind also doesn't let us sleep.
2. Make your sleeping routine it will create a Stimulus response and give signal body to sleep. Like sleep at same time everyday.
3. Make a routine of washing your feet before you sleep, reading something before you switch off the lights.
4. Make sure your bedsheets and pillow are clean.
5. Application of lavender oil on your head can also be added to your routine.
When you follow same routine everyday, body understand that its time to sleep and it will surely help you.

Dear Ravi, insomnia is also the result of toxic accumulation in the body. Once the toxic accumulation reaches a point that the body cannot manage, scavengers like viruses come to feed on them. The virus is also release their toxic byproducts which can disturb sleep cycles and impact the nerves. It can disturb the hormone production in the Endocrine glands as well.
Hence apart from the natural ways such as going back to sleep early, avoiding Screen Time during sleeping, listening to soothing music before we sleep, reading a positive book, having an early dinner, ensuring that the body is tired enough by doing yoga and Pranayam, it’s very important that you go on to wholefood plant-based diet. The meaning of wholefood plant-based diet is just that all your food will come from plants and not animals in its full form The way it is designed or created in nature. Drink plenty of fluids or juices from fruits vegetables and greens.

The best remedy is Banana Tea. Take a peek of Banana wash it thoroughly, and allow one cup water to boil, 2 mins after the water books insert the Banana peel and let it boil for another 5 minutes. After which you can drain the water, add a pinch of cinnamon to it..and drink it like tea 😊
Additionally to above said remedies by earlier writers, few more to add
1) A nice head massage and a water water shower before could be useful
2) Hot arm and foot massage could be helpful too
3) Get yourself mastered over the Yogic technique of Yoga Nidra which could help you come out of this problem eventually....

मानसिक समस्या भी इसी शरीर की समस्या है सब कुछ इस बात पर निर्भर करता है कि हम किसी भी परिस्थिति में सकारात्मक सोंच रखते हैं या नकारात्मक।
प्राकृतिक जुड़ाव आपको सकारात्मक सोंच प्रदान करेंगी क्योंकि प्राकृतिक जीवन शैली अपने आप में पूर्ण भी है और जीवंत भी है। पाँच तत्व से प्रकृति चल रही है और उसी पाँच तत्व से हमारा शरीर चल रहा है।
1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें। वाद्य यंत्र शास्त्री संगीत (instrumental classical music)सुनें।
2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। भ्रामरी प्राणायाम करें। ये दिन में चार बार करें।
अपने कमरे में ख़ुशबू दार फूलों को रखें।
3 अग्Iनि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।
4 जल तत्व- नहाने के पानी में ख़ुशबू वाले फूलों का रस मिलाएँ। नींबू या पुदीना का रस मिला सकते हैं।खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।
मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।
सर पर सूती कपड़ा बाँध कर उसके ऊपर खीरा और मेहंदी या करी पत्ते का पेस्ट लगाएँ,नाभि पर खीरा का पेस्ट लगाएँ।पैरों को 20 मिनट के लिए सादे पानी से भरे किसी बाल्टी या टब में डूबो कर रखें।
5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा। आप सुबह खीरे का जूस लें, खीरा 1/2 भाग +धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है।
दोपहर में 12 बजे फिर से इसी जूस को लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ। शाम को नारियल पानी लें फिर 2 घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें, नारियल की गिरि मिलाएँ।
लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ, बहुत फ़ायदा होगा।
जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।
तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा।एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ ले सकते हैं।
हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

Hot water for legs and cold water compress on head works like magic. Helps for severe migraines too and gives nice peaceful sleep. It’s a must try!!
