I need help, I stopped using shampoo and conditioners in April this year. I started using reetha, amla and shikakai along with bringraj and brahmi. I use soak them overnight and boil them next day, then seive them. I was assuming that my hair would be damn good, but I am suffering terribel hairfall after using this natural shampoo. I am really worried as I have lost almost 50% of my hair by volume. Could it be hair detox? Or just something else. I also apply henna once per month

नमस्ते

बाल भी हमारे शरीर का ही हिस्सा है। सिर में ऑक्सिजन की कमी और मिनरल की कमी से ये समस्या होती है। आपके खाने में उन पोषक तत्व को लें जो की पाचन तंत्र को स्वस्थ रखें। अधिकांश समय यह समस्या हमारे पाचन तंत्र के स्वस्थ नहीं रहने पर भी होता है। अर्धशीर्षआसन करें। भ्रामरी प्राणायाम करें। अनुलोम विलोम और लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।I रासायनिक शेम्पू एवं साबुन से भी ऐसा होता है। रासायनिक तेल भी ना प्रयोग करें। नारियल तेल जो खाने के लिए प्रयोग किया जाता है उसका प्रयोग करें।

शरीर के हर हिस्से में जो पोषक तत्व पहुँचना चाहिए,

वो नहीं पहुँच रहा है। 

आपके आहार में सब्ज़ी का जूस शामिल करने की ज़रूरत है।

फल, सब्ज़ी और सलाद को अपने खाने में शामिल करें।

सुबह की शुरुआत 1/2 खीरा + करी पत्ता पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ, फल एक घंटे बाद लें। 12 बजे दोपहर में पालक 10पत्ते + पुदीना10पत्ते पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। रात का खाना 8 बजे तक में कर लें। रात का भोजन में सलाद ही लें तो बहुत अच्छा होगा।

मेरुदंड ( स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें, हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें।

सर पर सूती कपड़ा बाँध कर उसके ऊपर खीरा और मेहंदी या करी पत्ते का पेस्ट लगाएँ,नाभि पर खीरा का पेस्ट लगाएँ।बालों को नींबू या रीठा से साफ़ करें।कपूर और नारियल तेल से मालिश करें।

This part needs to be considered twice it rarely happens that things you are using can cause side effects but sometimes they can have adverse effects on the hair. If you have noticed such a considerable decrease in the ideal would be to stop them.

The next thing to do is what you are doing with your diet, you should try a high protein diet with soybean and lentils which will help you back with hair loss.

Hello Deepti you should change your diet also coz diet plays an important role.

1. Stop eating inflammatory food like spices pickles, table salt refined sugar, oils.

2. Include veggies broccoli, cucumber, onion, tomatoes, coriander, mint, fenugreek leaves, palak.

3. include fruits banana, pomegranate,guava,papaya ,amla and aloevera juice, coconut,plum ,apricot.

4. Include nuts n seeds like dates almonds pistachios, flaxseeds, quinoa.

5. Give a massage to your scalp with good oil n water twice a week.

6.Do streching n exercise daily n practice atleast 20 min meditation daily.

hello Thanks a lot for your answer, however I am on raw vegan diet for 3 days a week and for rest for week I follow 70% raw vegan. I am Vegan since 2018. I eat organic fruits, vegetables, nuts and other leafy vegetables. Cooked food is very little. So I am shocked to see the amount of hair fall

It could be a sign of detox. It happens in cycles but it will grow back too. Just continue on your health journey. Reduce all form of grains and increase raw food. Sleep early most days of the week.

In my case, I observed that all products make my hair frizzy and dry. So I stopped using all forms of hair products. I massage my hair with fingers, do some inverted yoga positions to increase blood flow to my head and just use warm water on my hair. I have very little hair fall now and volume has grown too. Wish length would grow but I am being patient.

Thanks Asha, I have been on raw vegan diet for quote some time, I hardly eat cooked meals, very less grains. I was just shocked to see that natural products caused so much hair fall. You could be right that its detox. I hope heir grow back again :-)

General wear and tear of hair is inevitable. HAir quality and care also reflects the general internal health of the human being.  It’s not advisable to shampoo the hair on a daily basis. However it’s okay to use cold water on the head on a daily basis. General massaging of the hair after a cold water wash is recommended.It’s best to use Products that are safe to be put in the mouth on the skin as well. Any toxic chemicals such as shampoos and soaps will be absorbed by the pores of the skin and hair follicles which the body will eventually have to eliminate with a symptom. Even if u have used healthy products, the body will start to clean up the cells that were impacted by chemicals in the past. It’s a detox, but it’s also imp to understand that body is a sum of its parts. They work together .

I have developed this hair wash/body wash which many people have been using for the last many months and years . it is very safe on the skin and  hair. 

This is also a recipe for another skin moisturiser which you can make at home. These are safe to use and will not accumulate toxic chemicals in the body. One must understand that all the cosmetics that we use for the skin are tested on animals and are inhumane and cruel,  hence it is best to use plant-based products that we can safely make it home to be used on our own skin. Excessive hair fall is not a good sign. Little is normal - Provided we also make sure that we are on a healthy lifestyle. If one is on an animal product-based lifestyle the general health quality is a little different. Is typically very rough and wire-like but once the person switchs to a plant Based lifestyle ,quality changes to smooth and silky. Do a lot of for juicing of fruits and vegetables and eat a lot of fruits and greens to see improvement in the overall lifestyle and hair quality over the over the next few months.

Thanks for your answer, I am vegan for past 13 months, and mostly raw vegan 3 days a week and rest 70% raw only one cooked meal. The shampoo I made is from reetha, amla, shikakai, bhrami and bringraj, all dried products free from chemicals. I use this shampoo 3 days week. for rest of days I use bentonite clay as body and hair wash. In past I was also using products form Lush which are vegan and free from animal testing. What has shocked me is after using natural products I suffered so much hair fall.

Hello Deepti,

Though I am unable to assess why you lost all your hair, I would like to help you get back the hair volume. Deepti organic cold pressed coconut oil works wonders for skin,hair and our internal system. You can use cold-pressed coconut oil and heat this with fenugreek dried leaves or even fresh leaves would do. Use the mixed heated cold-pressed coconut oil and apply it to your scalp. Keep it overnight every night and next morning you can use yogurt and some lemon for conditioning your hair.

In your diet, please incorporate the following for good hair:

1) Avocados

2) Sweet Potatoes

3) Spinach

4) Seeds

5) Nuts (Dry fruits)

6) Berries (these are great source for skin and hair)
