Cold is caused by a virus, how did the virus infect you in the first place? Here comes the application of , " Biological terrain theory" which states that when the body provides a favourable environment for the virus( bacteria or any foreign body) it starts growing multiplying,producing numerous endotoxins which affects your health negatively.
What you have to do is don't give a favourable place for the virus in your body to survive, in other words start living a healthy lifestyle, eat a WFPB diet, rich in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts and seeds. Add fermented food too, as far as possible let them be organic.
All three types of exercises in your routine (cardio, resistance and flexion), also include deep breathing and practice mindfulness.
Don't deprive off sleep, sleep well and have adequate rest.
Your body will slowly start building the immune system and you will turn healthy day by day. , and you will not get infected by any bacteria, protozoa or a virus in your lifetime.

Now a days cold is very common because of seasonal change ,May be possible your cold is due to any infection so some normal daily habits change will benefits you
1 drink boiled water daily
2 avoid street or outside food it may be contaminated
3 make a kada of Tulsi, black paper powder and sitopala wt in water and drink it twice in a day
4 use pitta pacifying diet like vegetables and fibrous food
5 if liquid secretion is there use jal neti
6 honey wt ginger is good for cold

- Drink lukewarm water.
- Take fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin c
- Practice Jala neti.
- Do facial steam twice a day.
- If you are having a nasal blockage or difficulty in breathing then put 2-3 drops of eucalyptus oil in water then take steam.
- Take easily digestible food.
- Avoid pollution.
- Drink herbal tea: 200-300 ml water ginger pepper few Tulsi leaves Indian borage leaves Jaggery, boil for few minutes. Then consume.
- Practice Yoga and pranayama to improve breathing pattern.

Prepare a mixture of powdered dried ginger root, black pepper and long pepper in equal amounts and store in an airtight container. Have ½ teaspoonful of this powder mixed with ½ teaspoonful of honey twice a day with lukewarm water.
Take 11 guava leaves, 11 black pepper, 1 cup milk and one cup water. Put all of them in pot and boil it well, when it reduced to one cup, drink in empty stomach. Take this daily for 3 days.
or Take 5 gm of ginger, black pepper, cardamom, clove, cinnamon, turmeric and 30 gm of sugar. Grind the mix to a powder. Take half to one teaspoonful and mix it nicely with honey. Take it twice a day.
try either one remedy and see how it suits you.
Avoid pollution and dust. Drink purified water and practice breathing excercise.

Your health tips to overcome cold is good, one doubt ,does Nature cure encourage milk in their treatment routines, my doubt is it's against Nature cure principles to consume milk and moreover they are difficult to digest and immunosupressive, isn't it., please make it clear.
It is your body's cleansing process, it will be okay with in 4 days if you are not comfortable then take facial steam
नमस्ते
निष्कासन ठीक प्रकार से और सही माध्यम से ना हो तो शरीर ग़लत माध्यम से शरीर में पनप रहे विषाक्त कणों को निकालता है क्योंकि शरीर का एक लक्ष्य है अनचाहे विषाणुओं को शरीर से निकाल बाहर करना है। सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपका सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।
आहार शुद्धि और सही स्वाँस लेने के तरीक़े से हम इस बीमारी पर नियंत्रण पा सकते हैं।
गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें, रुकें फिर पूरा स्वाँस ख़ाली कर के रुकें, और फिर सहज साँस लें तो एक चक्र पूरा होता है। ऐसे 10 चक्र करें, मेरुदंड को सीधा रखें और पेट ख़ाली रखकर इस अभ्यास को करें। जितनी देर स्वाँस को सहजता से रोक सकें उतना ही रोकें। अनुलोम विलोम करें।
खाना अच्छी तरह चबा कर खाएँ, खाने के 1 घंटे बाद पानी पीएँ खाने के बीच में या खाने के तुरंत बाद पानी पीने से खाना हज़म ठीक से नहीं होता है। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन से बचें। तेल, मसाला, और (wheat) गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा।
सुबह 5 बेल पत्ते को पीस कर 100ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ, 2 घंटे बाद फल खाएँ, दोपहर 12 बजे पालक 10 पत्ते+ 1/2 पान पत्ता पीस कर 100ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। इसके 1घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ, शाम5 बजे नारियल पानी या सफ़ेद पेठे (ashguard) 20 ग्राम पीस कर 100ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ।
रात के खाने में सलाद लें और सलाद 8 बजे से पहले लें, सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें। ताज़े नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ।
लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ। रात का खाना 8 बजे खाएँ। पृथ्वी तत्व को शरीर में डालने का एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल (liquid) को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें। ठोस (solid) भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ (liquid) ले सकते।

Cold is generally due to the sudden seasonal variations or it may result due to some allergies or it may be a result of some infection.
Hot turmeric coconut milk before going to bed is very good for cold.
Have herbal tea.(You can see the recipe in wellcure by searching in search tab)
Also,drink warm water everytime.
Avoid carbonated drinks, ice creams, cold water or any other cold beverages.
Protect yourself from cold winds and cold weather.
Have tulsi, ginger and black pepper by adding it to warm water or you may add this to your herbal tea.
Have a plant based diet completely.
Do anulom-vilom and jal neti.

Hello Rohit,
The best way to recover from cold is turmeric and Ginger tea. Take one cup of water, bring it to boil, add a little bit of turmeric and Ginger. Drink the water..you can do this 3 times a day ..you will definitely feel relieved from the cold.
Also eat a lot of vegetable soup, that will definitely help you...
