After Pregnancy I had Anal fissure. When I do sitz bath I feel better. When I don't do sitz bath I again get anal fissure. Can any one suggest a permanent solution for this please?

Hi there, 

Yes, sitz bath is a very effective therapy for treating anal fissure but permanent cure will happen only if you take care of your diet and lifestyle habit. 

Anal fissure also known as the anal ulcer is nothing but a cut or tear in the lining of the anus which usually occurs due to constipation or diarrhoea. It can cause pain and bleeding but naturally gets healed by itself within few weeks time.

The best remedy to treat anal ulcers or fissures is to take care of your diet and lifestyle habits. Constipation being one of the major cause can lead to cuts when a hard stool passes through. 

•Dehydration is one of the commonest cause for constipation, enrich yourself with plenty of fluids to keep yourself hydrated. 

• Go for whole plant base diet, whole grains, oats, cereals, and brown rice etc rather then other types of food. They are five rich in nature which will help in treating constipation 

• Consume more fruits and vegetables as they rich in dietary fibres. Fruits like Apple, pineapple, banana, berries, and passion fruits are fibre rich. Include vegetables like beans, sprouts, Brussels sprout, broccoli, lentils, legumes , drumsticks and spinach are highly recommended dietary fibres.

• Nuts and seeds such as sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds, pistachios, chia seeds and flaxseed are also rich in fibres. 

• Defecating in time will help avoid constipation in a long run.

• Avoid oily, spicy, sugary foods, maida products, smoking and alcohol.

• Hip bath for 10- 15 minutes will help ease the pain by improving blood circulation and relaxing the anal sphincter. You can alternate hib bath with sitz bath simultaneously for better result .

Stay hydrated: Drink more water  

Consume more fruits and vegetables

Consume fruits and vegetables rich in fibre which helps to give bulk and soften the stools.

Include whole grains millets and brown rice in your daily diet.

Add more green veg. and green leafy vegetables regularly.

Avoid refined sugar, polished rice and Maida.

Avoid spicy and fatty food items

Avoid non- vegetarian food items.

Hydro Therapy treatments like Sitz baths/ hip baths, helps in healing of anal fissures.

By sitting in a tub of warm water and soaking the rectal area twice a day for 10-15 mins helps to clean the anus, improves blood flow and helps to relax the anal sphincters.

Don’t strain too much in the toilet it can increase pressure in the anal region.

Regularly do some physical exercise and Yoga for proper body function and to reduce stress related constipation.

Taking proper diet, change in life style is the way to cure permanently.

Fissures cannot be rushed to a relief. It needs a balanced lifestyle. Since it’s an area where it’s wet plus excretion on a daily basis will not give it rest to heal. 

Go on a juice fast and only soft fruits for 3-4 days with only veg and fruit juices. Don’t have anything hard. Continue sitz bath. Apply a cold wet towel on your abdomen and the area for few hrs with fresh change every one hr. Rest for these days with just focus of this process. The inflammation will completely come down. 

In future, follow this lifestyle 

Morning on empty stomach 

  • Celery juice 250 ml filtered / ash gourd juice / cucumber juice 
  • Followed by Green juice with any watery vegetable like ashgourd / cucumber / ridge gourd / bottle gourd / carrot / beet with ginger and lime filtered  
  • More hunger - tender coconut water or more pure veggie juice 

Afternoon from 12 :-  

  • A bowl of fruits - don’t mix melons and other fruits. Eat melons alone. Eat citrus alone 
  • Followed by a bowl of salad which includes coconut / flax or sesame in any form 
  • Hunger in between must be fruits or fruit based smoothies for a month
  • Don’t eat any cooked until it’s completely healed. If yes, then Dinner 2-3 hrs before sleep with Gluten free, oilfree unpolished grains or dals 30% and 70% veggies
  • Please take enema for 30 days with Luke warm water and then slowly reduce the freq. this is not a substitute for daily nature call . Consult a practitioner as needed
  • Include some exercises that involves moving all your parts ( neck , shoulder, elbows, wrist , hip bending twisting , squats, knees, ankles ) .
  • See if u can go to the morning sun for sometime in a day 30 mins atleast. 
  • Ensure that you are asleep between 10-2 which is when the body needs deep sleep. 
  • Place a wet cloth on your tummy for 30 mins daily
  • Apply castor oil to the area few times a day and don’t let it become dry in future until you know that your lifestyle has been followed for 3-4 months. It must be oiled before and after excretion too. 

What to Avoid :- 

  • Avoid refined oils, fried food , packaged ready to eat foods, dairy in any form including ghee, refined salt and sugar , gluten , refined oils . 
  • Avoid mental stress by not thinking about things you cannot control. Present is inevitable. Future can be planned. Stay happy. Happiness is only inside yourself . नमस्ते ,

एनल फिशर या गुदाचीर-कब्ज  के कारण जब शौच के समय अधिक दबाव देते हैं तो गुदाद्वार पर खरोच आ जाती है या दरार पड़ जाते हैं ।

  • प्रतिदिन प्रातः गुनगुने पानी नींबू और शहद का सेवन करें, इससे आंतों की दीवारें फैलती हैं, शरीर में स्थित दूषित पदार्थ बाहर निकलते हैं ।
  • प्रतिदिन मौसमी फल या हरी पत्तेदार सब्जियों (टमाटर ,लौकी ,खीरा )के जूस का सेवन करें ,यह हल्के सुपाच्य होते हैं।
  • भोजन 80% मौसमी फल व हरी पत्तेदार सब्जियों से युक्त भोजन का सेवन बैठकर धीरे-धीरे चबाकर करें इससे भोजन का पाचन आसानी से होता है, पाचन अंगों को अधिक कार्य नहीं करना पड़ता।
  •  उपवास -सप्ताह में 1 दिन उपवास रहें ,इससे पाचन अंगों को आराम मिलता है!
  •  भोजन के पश्चात जब प्यास लगे बैठकर धीरे धीरे जल का सेवन करें इससे शरीर को आवश्यक जल की आपूर्ति हो जाती है।
  • सुबह शाम 3:00 छुहारे खाकर गर्म पानी पिए।
  •  प्राणायाम -कपालभाति,अनुलोम विलोम , शरीर को पर्याप्त मात्रा ऑक्सीजन की आपूर्ति करतेे हैं ,मन शांत रहता है, तनाव कम होता है।
  • प्रसन्न चित्त रहे,खुलकर हंसे ,सकारात्मक सोचें।

 निषेध -चाय ,चावल ,चीनी व चीनी सेे बनें पदार्थ, दूध व दूध से बने हुए पदार्थ ,ठंडे पेय पदार्थ ,मांस -मछली, अंडे ,अचार, क्रोध, ईर्ष्या, चिंता ,तनाव।

हेलो, 

 

कारण - क़ब्ज़ फ़िशर का मुल कारण है। आँत में प्रदाह (inflammation) के कारण क़ब्ज़ हो जाता है।

समाधान - नीम के पत्ते और खीरे का पेस्ट अपने नाभि पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें।

हलासन, पवन-मुक्तासन, ताड़ासन, कटिचक्र आसन अनुलोम विलोम करें।

फल, सब्ज़ी को मुख्य आहार बनाएँ।

जीवन शैली - जीवन शैली -   हम उसको आहार शुद्धि से मदद करें।

बार बार कुछ भी खाने से बचे फल के बाद 3 घंटे का अंतराल (gap) रखें। क्षार (alkaline) जूस के बाद 1घंटे का अंतराल रखें। कच्चे सब्ज़ियों के सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे का अंतराल रखें। अनाज और पकी हुई सब्ज़ी अगर तेल रहित (oil free) के बाद 8 घंटे का तेल घी का प्रयोग किया गया हो तो 12 से 13 घंटे का अंतराल रखें।

रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें। त्वचा या शरीर के किसी भी हिस्से को स्वस्थ प्रदान करने के लिए ज़रूरी है।

सुबह लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।

सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें। 

कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। अगले सुबह ख़ाली पेट इनमे से कोई भी हरा जूस लें।पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और  नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। बेल का पत्ता 8 से 10 पीस कर 100ml पानी में मिला कर छान कर पीएँ। खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ।

ये जूस सुबह नाश्ते से एक घंटे पहले लें। नाश्ते में फल लें। दोपहर के खाने से एक घंटा पहले हरा जूस लें। खाने में सलाद नमक सेंधा ही प्रयोग करें। नमक की पके हुए खाने में भी बहुत कम लें। सब्ज़ी पकने बाद उसमें नमक डालें। नमक पका कर या अधिक खाने से शरीर में (fluid)  की कमी हो जाती।

सलाद दोपहर 1बजे बिना नमक के खाएँ तो अच्छा होगा क्योंकि नमक सलाद के गुणों को कम कर देता है। सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurad) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी लें।

रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लें। रात 8 बजे के बाद कुछ ना खाएँ, 12 घंटे का (gap) अंतराल रखें। 8बजे रात से 8 बजे सुबह तक कुछ नहीं खाना है।

एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ  ले सकते हैं।

जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।
