Hi! I have snoring problem. Can you tell me any remedy for this?

If you are facing the problem of SNORING, you can take these few steps and get rid of Snoring. 

✔️Have CARDAMOM Water before Sleep. Take lukewarm water with added 1 or 2 Cardamom powder in it. 

Cardamom, as a decongestant is effective in opening up, Blocked Nasal Passage and compress snoring.

✔️Sleeping on Your Left Side that is "Vamkushi" Prevents snoring

✔️Peppermint reduces swelling in the throat and nostrils thus makes breathing easy. 

Add few drops of peppermint oil to water. Gargle with it before going to bed.

One of the common things about snoring is it can be due to an increase in weight which can cause an obstruction in breathing while sleeping in a supine position.

The best thing to do is to lose weight by adapting to an easier lifestyle which is healthy. Loading our body with toxins will only cause our lifestyle to get tough.

Eat right, simple and healthy.

Drink plenty of water and lose your weight.

The next thing to do is change your sleep position to the lateral side which will again help in reducing snoring.

snoring is mainly due to if you have a habit of alcohol consumption. or it may be due to nasal congestion or it may be due to some underlying disease. avoid sugary items, junk food, oily foods and foods which have lots of preservative .alwys stick to a plant-based diet for optimum health. eat foods which are fresh vegetables and fruits

the first and foremost thing is to lose extra weight from your body it can be in the form of exercise, walking, yogasanas like suryanamaskara and yogic kriya like sutra neti help in releasing the nasal congestion. please practise these yogasanas and yogic kriya under the guidance of qualified practitioners. and sleeping on the side is recommended to relieve snoring

  • Snoring is a common problem nowadays.  It may affect anyone. But it occurs mostly in men and people who are are overweight. 
  • It gets worse with age. Snoring causes by any obstruction in nasal pathway or poor muscle tone on the throat. 
  • To get relieved from snoring, reduce your weight if you are overweight.
  • Make some lifestyle modifications.
  • Avoid taking any pills for Sleeping.
  • Sleep. Deprivation also cause snoring, please take 7-8 hrs of sleep daily. 
  • Avoid daytime sleep. 
  • Avoid alcohol. 
  • Make a Regular sleep pattern. 
  • Practice breathing exercises like deep breathing and sectional breathing. 
  • Practice jala neti and Sutra neti under expert guidance. 
  • Take regular steam inhalation 30 mins before going to bed. 
  • Use mask and avoid pollution. 
  • Regular Yogasanana like Sarvangasana, sethubandasana, matsyasana especially Simhasana helps to improve your throat area muscles and in preventing snoring.

कारण - पीठ के बल सोने से खर्राटे आने की संभावना अधिक हो जाती है। शराब और अन्य नशीले पदार्थों का सेवन करने से गले की मांसपेशियां शिथिल हो जाती हैं। इससे भी खर्राटे आने लग जाते हैं। जुकाम या अन्य एलर्जी के कारण बलगम का जमाव भी खर्राटों का कारण बन सकता है। नासिका तंत्र में inflammation के वजह से सुजन हो सकती है। इससे भी खर्राटे आने की सम्भावना बढ़ जाती है।

समाधान - प्राणायाम करें जैसे की अनुलोम विलोम, भ्रामरी और आंतरिक कुम्भक और बाह्य कुंभक।

आहार में परिवर्तन आयु के हिसाब से करना चाहिए। 9 साल के बाद दुध या दुध से बना सामान नहीं पचता है। 20 साल के बाद प्रोटीन के बाहरी स्रोतों से परहेज़ ज़रूरी है। 30 साल के बाद अनाज, तेल घी से परहेज़ ज़रूरी है और चीनी की ज़रूरत कभी नहीं है। उसके जगह गुड़ या सुखा फल लें। खाने में सेंधा नमक का प्रयोग करें।

इस बीमारी का मूल कारण हाज़मा और क़ब्ज़ है।

जीवन शैली - शरीर पाँच तत्व से बना हुआ है प्रकृति की ही तरह। आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल, पृथ्वी ये पाँच तत्व आपके शरीर में रोज़ खुराक की तरह जाना चाहिए।

पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है।

1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें।

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।

आसन प्राणायाम करें।

3 अग्नि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें और खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा करें। खीरा + नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट दर्द वाले हिस्से पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें। सुर्य की रोशनी उसी जगह पर लगाएँ।

दिन में दो बार तिल के तेल से घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में

 

और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें।

मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 

5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा। आप सुबह सफ़ेद पेठे 20ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है।

दोपहर में 12 बजे फिर से इसी जूस को लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ।शाम को 5 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ashguard) 20 ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी मिला। 2घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurad) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें। ताज़ा नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। रात का खाना 8 बजे खाएँ

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ। नमक सेंधा ही प्रयोग करें। नमक की मात्रा dopahar के खाने में भी बहुत कम लें। सब्ज़ी पकने बाद उसमें नमक नमक पका कर या अधिक खाने से शरीर में (fluid)  की कमी हो जाती है। एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल (liquid) को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें। ठोस (solid) भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ (liquid) ले सकते हैं।

ऐसा करने से हाज़मा कभी ख़राब नहीं होगा।

जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं। तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद।

So you should first try to lose your weight follow a healthy lifestyle and diet and stay fit. 

  • Daily pranayam, anulom vilom, and bhramri - this yogasana are good for nasal passages obstructions 
  • Maintain sleep time, do not sleep in day time 
  • Use honey, it's good for nasal obstructions or prevent excess cough formation 
  • Lemon juice in early morning detoxify your body 
  • Avoid milk products, street food, maida and other items 
  • Keep your nasal tract clean

नमस्ते,

स्नोरिंग या खर्राटे लेना - कुछ लोगों को रात में सोते समय खर्राटे आते हैं ,लेकिन उन्हें पता नहीं होता, यह अधिकतर श्वास नली का मार्ग अवरुद्ध हो जाने की वजह से होता है ।
 

  • प्रतिदिन प्रातः गुनगुने पानी, नींबू एवं शहद का सेवन करें इससे शरीर से अशुद्धियां बाहर निकलती हैं ।
  • जूस- प्रतिदिन मौसमी फल या हरी पत्तेदार सब्जी के जूस का सेवन करें।
  • प्रतिदिन 80% मौसमी फल एवं हरी पत्तेदार सब्जियोंं से युक्त भोजन को खूब चबा चबाकर सेवन करें इससे भोजन का आसानी से पाचन होता है शरीर में अम्ल व क्षार की मात्रा संतुलित रहती है ।
  • जल का सेवन -जब प्यास लगे मिट्टी या तांबे के बर्तन में रखे हुए जल को बैठकर धीरे धीरे पीना चाहिए इससे शरीर को पर्याप्त मात्रा में जल की आपूर्ति होती है।
  • रात्रि में सोने से 30 मिनट पहले एक गिलास गुनगुने जल में दो चम्मच शहद डालकर सेवन करें धीरे-धीरे खर्राटे गायब हो जाएंगे।
  •  प्रतिदिन रात्रि में सोने से पहले एक गिलास उबलते हुए जल में इलायची डाल दे, जब आधा रह जाए उतार कर पीने योग्य हो जाने पर धीरे-धीरे सेवन करें।
  • सोने से पहले 1-2 कली लहसुन चबाकर खा जाए इसमें anti inflammatory, एंटीबायोटिक गुण होते हैं जो सांस की नली को साफ करते हैं, हवा का आदान-प्रदान आसानी से होता है, नींद अच्छी आती है ,खर्राटे गायब हो जाते हैं।
  • प्रतिदिन नंगे पांव सुगंधित पुष्पों से युक्त बगीचे में प्रसन्न चित्त होकर टहलें।
  • रात्रि में सोने से पहले शांत चित्त रहें।

 

 निषेध -चाय ,चावल ,चीनी ,अचार, मिठाइयां ,नमक -नमकीन ,ठंडे पेय पदार्थ ,शराब, नशीली वस्तुएं ,दूध से बने हुए पदार्थ ,जानवरों से प्राप्त भोज्य पदार्थ ,डिब्बाबंद वस्तुएं ,क्रोध, ईर्ष्या ,चिंता ,तनाव ,आलस्य ,सोने से 2 घंटे पहले मोबाइल ,टेलीविजन ,कंप्यूटर का प्रयोग ,रात्रि जागरण।

Excess mucus in the body with inflamed mucous membranes can cause a sound during deep breathing when the body goes to a state of semi-conscious or unconscious rest. 

Excess toxin accumulation in the respiratory tract due to wrong living habits can contribute to such issues. Weight gain also happens in some cases.

Avoid food high with dairy, meat eggs fish starches caffeine, deep-fried, excess grease.

Snoring is common disorder which occurs because of the narrowing of the upper respiratory tract i.e. nose and throat, restricting the airflow to lungs.These can be either due to some underlying injury, nasal septum deviation , polyps and allergy or wrong lifestyle habits. 

It can be rectified with certain changes in food habits, sleep habits and physical activity.

Diet or food habits ;

• Avoid every sort of inflammatory diets such as dairy and dairy products, maida products like pastries, cookies, cakes, sugary drinks and foods, and every type of processed food that contains added sugars. Always go for a gluten-free diet. Gluten can cause inflammation. These foods can cause inflammation and obstruct the airways.

•Omega 3 fatty acids can help fight inflammations that can cause snoring. Go for dark leafy greens, spinach, broccoli, flax seeds, chia seeds, walnuts. 

• Dehydration can lead to excess mucus secretion around the nasal passages which can limit the flow if air through it and induce snoring. Getting plenty of fluids can help you stay hydrated.

• Avoid oily fried foods, processed foods which contains artificial trans fats.

• Avoid smoking and alcohol. 

Sleep habits ;

• Sleep on the side of your body. Sleeping on your back can lead to partial obstruction of airways which can cause snoring.

• Before going to bed, take a facial steam for 2-3 minutes. You may also add a drop of an essential oils in the boiling water. This will help help open the airways letting you breath at ease. 

• Use a pillow to slightly elevate or raise your head as you.This will ease breathing and open up your airways. 

Physical activity ;

• Physical activities such as early morning walk, jog or brisk walk are very helpful as it reduces your weight. Obesity can cause snoring.

• Go for neck strengthening exercises. This will help tone up the neck muscles and reduce fats around the neck as well. 

• Practice yogasanas and pranayama such as suryanamaskara, halasana, sarvangasana, bhujangasana, ujjayi, sheetali and bhramaSurya. Practice them under the guidance of a qualified practitioner.

First check your mental conditions... Is there anything that's is causing you sadness ,pain .... Suffering or fear etc. Because most of the body condition is due to mind 


Take 1 beetroot, carrot and a piece of ginger, make juice, add jaggery and drink daily. Take a lot of greens and drink water sufficiently.

Hello,

Snoring problem has various causes such as stress, nasal congestion, abdominal obesity, Alcohol consumption. When the problem aggrevates it can lead to sleep apnea.

I highly suggest firstly to reduce some of the extra pounds you might have through wholesome diet and detoxifying the body by including green juices in the diet.

Secondly, neural throat pack is the best treatment to solve snoring issues. Take a thin cotton towel soak it in normal water and wrap it around your throat, don't wrap it around tight, you should not face any difficulty in breathing during the procedure, leave it for 10 - 15 min and remove afterwards. After the procedure, massage your throat with warm coconut oil for 2-3 min, repeat this on a daily basis for best results.

Third and foremost practice ujjai pranayama and Jalandhar bandha on regular basis twice a day along with nadishudhi pranayama.

Lastly i suggest you to avoid alcohol consumption and preservative food such as oily and junk food.
