I can look very challenging to lose weight. if you are determined enough and if you know the simple basic rules that you could follow to reach the desired weight ... you will be able to achieve it.
The biggest challenge one can face while trying to lose weight is contrlling their food habits. so if we look at our food habits as something which you dont need to control but just something that you could redirect, things will get easier.
And more than the food part there are certain very simple practices that you could incorporate into your lifestyle with which slowly you will start seeing changes in your over all health and food choices too.
What actually we will be doing here is just give your self a taste of health by incorporating the basics of good health in your life.
Lets start with your morning routine
1 Sun, Air and earth
Wake up early just before the sun so that you can finish your morning ablutions and go out into the open. The best choice would be a garden or some lawn, if not the terrace or the balcony where you will have your first meal of the day. Sit in the warm rays of the morning sun, breath in fresh air and absorb the earths radiations too at the same time. The energy you will absorb here will enrich you and fulfill your energy needs to an extent.
2 Movement
Walk for a couple of kilometers if possible, join a yoga class or join some active outdoor sport to help your blood circulation and help your toxins move out. sweating helps a lot in removing the toxins from the body.
3 Whole plant based food
Let your breakfast be any fresh, locally grown seasonal fruit. Eat to your full. For lunch have any millet roti with more vegetables cooked in least oil,salt or spices. let the salt be organic. For dinner again it could be fruits or large bowl of salad or some simple whole plant based meal.
Things that you can avoid eating strictly are Processed and packaged food like stuff, dairy and other animal products, refined oils and flours,etc.
Basically eat lots of raw fruits and vegetables. And eat as little cooked as possible.
4 Rest
Sleep well at night atleast for 7 to eight hours from early hours of the night. Sleep helps your body to relax and release unwabted toxins and waste matter, which will help in reducing weight, ultimately.
So food is just a part of the whole routine, it is not the only thing that one needs to do. See which of these things you find the easiest to do, stick to it and do it religiously, follow the rest of the points as much as you can. With time you will start seeing lots of changes in your choices and preferances as your body wiil get back to its true self and start following the right choices. You can start by eating healthy, juicing a lot. Once your digestion and assimilation becomes efficient, your body will start shedding the excess.
Losing or gaining healthy weight happens when your body and mainly your gut is in a good shape to absorb nutrients or shed the excess. The solution is the same for both the cases. Whatever is the imbalance the body decides and fixes it. High raw whole food plant based meal is your solution. Good sleep , exposure to sun, exercises that help you gain healthy muscles.
Fats don’t come because you have nuts or avocado or coconut. Unless your body is ready to act on the food you eat, no food will help to lose or gain.
The more the body gets digestive rest from cooked and other wrong foods, it will heal u off the your problems and then build you muscles after u start working towards it
- Start drinking only fruit and veg cold pressed juices for 10 days. Nothing else. 3-4 lts a day
- After 10 days eat just stomach full of fruits and greens and occasional vegetables for rest of the month and nothing else.
- Workout in the gym for 1 hr daily / do 24 surya namaskara daily with regular breathIng.
You will lose the toxins that have clogged the body and start losing weight too. To continue a healthy diet and not gain back after that,the following is a lifestyle you can follow this.
Follow this :-
Morning on empty stomach
- Celery juice 500 ml filtered / ash gourd juice / cucumber juice/ Green juice with any watery vegetable like ashgourd / cucumber / ridge gourd / bottle gourd / carrot / beet with ginger and lime filtered/ tender coconut water or more pure veggie juice
Afternoon from 12 :-
- A bowl of fruits - don’t mix melons and other fruits. Eat melons alone. Eat citrus alone
- Followed by a bowl of veg salad
- Dinner 2-3 hrs before sleep with Gluten free, oilfree unpolished grains or dals 30% and 70% veggies
- Include some exercises that involves moving all your parts ( neck , shoulder, elbows, wrist , hip bending twisting , squats, knees, ankles ) along with the 1 hr of workout. Focus on weight training
- See if u can go to the morning sun for sometime in a day 30 mins atleast.
- Ensure that you are asleep between 10-2 which is when the body needs deep sleep.
What to Avoid :-
- Avoid refined oils, fried food , packaged ready to eat foods, dairy in any form including ghee, refined salt and sugar , gluten , refined oils meat eggs fish coffee tea alcohol , oils in any form
- Avoid mental stress by not thinking about things you cannot control. Present is inevitable. Future can be planned. Stay happy. Happiness is only inside yourself . कारण - पाचन तंत्र के अस्वस्थ होने शरीर में आहार पचता नहीं है और अधिक वसा मोटापा का कारण बन जाता है शारीरिक क्रिया की कमी से भी ऐसा होता है। तनावपूर्ण घटनाओं का अनुभव से भी ऐसा हो सकता है।अन्य मानसिक स्वास्थ्य विकार जैसे चिंता, डिप्रेशन, मादक द्रव्यों का सेवन से ऐसा हो सकता है।
लिवर को स्वस्थ रखने के लिए रात 10 से 4 की नींद बहुत जरूरी है। लिवर स्वस्थ होगा तो वसा का जमाव नहीं होगा।
आकाश तत्व - एक खाने से दुसरे खाने के बीच में अंतराल (gap) रखें।
सुबह सफ़ेद पेठे 20ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है।
दोपहर में 12 बजे फिर से इसी जूस को लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ।शाम को 5 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ashguard) 20 ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी मिला। 2घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। इस जूस में नमक निम्बू ना मिलाएँ। करी पत्ता, लेमन ग्रास, पुदीना पत्ता धनिया पत्ता, तुलसी पत्ता 5g डाल कर पीस लें।
फल के बाद 3 घंटे, सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे, और पके हुए खाने के बाद 12 घंटे का (gap) रखें।
वायु तत्व - प्राणायाम करें, आसन करें। दौड़ लगाएँ।
अग्नि - सूर्य की रोशनी लें।
जल - अलग अलग तरीक़े का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान, हिप बाथ, गीले कपड़े की पट्टी से पेट की गले और सर की 20 मिनट के लिए सेक लगाए। स्पर्श थरेपी करें। मालिश के ज़रिए भी कर सकते है। नारियल तेल से घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें।
पृथ्वी - फल + सूखे फल नाश्ते में और दोपहर के खाने में सलाद + नट्स बिना नमक के और एक बार पका हुआ खाना रात को 7 बजे से पहले लें।
सेंधा नमक केवल एक बार पके हुए खाने में लें। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।
तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें।
एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ ले सकते हैं।
हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

Avoid all types of junk food, oily food, sugary items. foods with lots of preservatives
consume fresh fruits and vegetables. add a serving of fruit salad in your lunch or dinner, instead of consuming sugary or slaty items for snacks switch over to nuts, fruits, fresh fruit juices
keep yourself hydrated drink around 8 glasses of water every day.
