Namaste Priyanka

The fastest way to heal any cuts or bruises is to under go a fast. Rest and relax and let all the vital energy be used for healing without any interruption.

Instead of a bandaid I would just wrap it with a wet cloth. Leave the wound open for air for sometime. And wrap it up again with a wet cloth.

I have seen many wounds cuts and bruises just heal fast and without any infection when under natures care.

Eating cooked food during a wound may result in pus formation. So it’s good to either fast or have only watery fruits if very hungry.

Switch to juices and fruits and stop cooked. Tie a wet cloth instead of bandaid and then a dry cloth. That will help it breathe. Expose to sun for an hr or 30 m daily. These will heal it faster.

Cut wounds are one of the commonest wound that could affect our daily life. It is a nightmare, messy and painful. A normal wound takes around three weeks to heal and care should be taken that it is nursed in the right manner to enhance a faster healing process. Natural healing through natural remedies though it is a safer method but would take a bit longer time. Care should be taken that you don’t allow infection or puss around the wound to develop which could prolong the healing process or could lead to a septic condition. Some home remedies could help you with a natural healing process

  1. First and foremost clean the wound thoroughly and ensure that the knife wasn’t rusted.
  2. Arrest the bleeding using an ice application if there is still bleeding occurring from the wound
  3. You may apply turmeric which is antiseptic and antibiotic in nature. Turmeric could also be combined with honey which could also enhance the faster healing process. Honey is also a known natural ingredient that could be used for wound healing. If you have access to Manukau honey it could be the best choice
  4. Alternatively, you may apply some fresh gel of an aloe vera leaf which is also a natural healer in wounds. This could work as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory in nature.
  5. Application of garlic could stop bleeding if it still persists and also could act as an antibiotic in nature
  6. Application of coconut oil could soothen and give pain relief in the wound
