I am facing dry eczema. Red patches are all over my legs. I am so stressed out can't even sleep at nights because of itching. Please help

Hello. Skin is our body's largest surface area & a key organ for elimination of toxins. Dry eczema means there is a lot of toxic waste in your body which needs to be removed.

Support your body by going on an all fruits diet for atleast 5 days. Eat as many fruits as required to satiate your hunger, but eat only when hungry. Fruits are the easiest-to-digest foods. When your body has less digestion work to do, it will be able to focus better on healing. Also, fruits will provide the right material needed for cleaning up. Basically, you have to hydrate your body from within so that the dryness & eczema go away. Other than fruits, hydrating foods include raw veggie salads, veggie juices, coconut water, lemon juice. Make sure you have a large serving of fruits every morning & evening. Have them as is or as smoothies or juices. Fruits should be the ones that are in season. Have veggie juices twice a day - every noon & evening lets say around 7 pm. Veggie salads with every lunch & dinner, generously such that more than 50% of your meal is raw. Replace your tea/coffee with coconut water & lemon water. Have at least one lemon & one coconut every day.  Reduce cooked food, refined oil, white sugar, white salt, dairy, non-veg, junk food.

For external relief, apply rose water on the affected area.  Buy a good quality one. I use Vision Fresh, available online on Amazon. And sit in the sun every day for 10-15 minutes, early morning or evening.

Be patient, be calm. All will be well soon.

Hi. First & foremost, don't be stressed. What we eat, what we feel, what we think - all has a role to play in your health. Imagine your body as a machine, every action you take will leave some smoke & if too much of smoke accumulates, it makes us sick. Stress also adds to this smoke/toxicity in the body & it is this toxicity that is currently getting reflected through your eczema.

Nature has given our body a self-healing mechanism. Every cell in our body is programmed to give us good health. All we need to do is support it naturally & any illness can be dealt with. Once you understand this reality & approach your situation with faith, your eczema will vanish. Read a few articles in the 'Body Wisdom' section of this website to know more about Natural Laws & how you can implement them.

There is no shortcut to good health. For long-term permanent relief, pls invest some time & effort towards Natural Living.

hello there, Eczema a is a constitutional disease, resulting from toxic condition of the system.

SYMPTOMS; Redness and swelling in acute form, formation of minute vesicles and severe heat.If the vesicle ruptures, a raw moist surface is formed. from this, colourless discharge oozes.

The disease is usually worse at night  when the heat of the body is retained by bed clothes, which explain why you are more troubled at night time.

CURE

Skin applications only offer temporary relief and such suppression may cause more serious disease later. The best way to deal with eczema is to cleanse the blood stream and the body.

  1. Juice fasting preferably orange juice will eliminate toxic waste from body and lead to substantial improvement. This is advised for 5 to 10 days.
  2. Carrot and muskmelon are particularly beneficial.
  3. The patient must avoid tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages and all condiments and highly favoured dishes.
  4. Raw vegetable juices specially carrot juice in combination with spinach juice has been proved highly beneficial in the treatment of eczema. Formula proportion being 300 ml carrot and spinach 200 ml to make 500 ml of half a litre of juice.
  5. The patient should get as much fresh air is possible, restrictive clothing should not be worn. 
  6. Two or three litres of water should be taken daily and the patient must bathe twice or thrice a day
  7. Coconut oil may be applied to the portions with eczema it will help the skin to stay soft.
  8. Sunbathing is also beneficial as it will help in killing the bacteria.
  9. Water treatments like cold compress for cold wet fomentation for beneficial if you are willing to do this kindly comment and I'll write how it is to be done.

Eczema is a disease characterized by skin rashes that have redness, swelling, itching, dryness, and flaking. The skin itches and when scratched, results in a rash.

It occurs when the immune system becomes unbalanced, so the condition is often associated with other allergic conditions like allergic asthma, hay fever, etc.

Reason behind this;

Excessive consumption of foods that are dry, stale, cold, salty, spicy, sour, fermented or fried, late night work schedules, regular late night dinners, excessive physical, mental,
and stress can be responsible for causing eczema. Excessive intake of tea, coffee, aerated drinks, alcoholic beverages, indigestion, acidity, constipation and/or flatulence too can contribute to eczema.

Which results in;

Redness on skin

Dry and flaky skin

Rough and thickened skin

Itchy blisters

Itching

Inflammation of skin

Follow Diet & Lifestyle Advice

Avoid spicy or oily food and a hot humid atmosphere.

Wear loose, cotton clothes; avoid synthetic fibers as they inhibit perspiration.

Avoid soap or use mild herbal soap for bathing.

Use a soft, smooth towel and avoid rubbing the skin.

Avoid tea, coffee, hot spices, and canned and preserved foods.

Practice Bhujangasan and Agnisaar Pranayam to enhance your body’s immunity.

Natural Medicine:

Prepare a decoction by boiling 20-30 margosa (neem) leaves in about 4-5 cups of water for 20 minutes. Let it cool and use this water to wash the affected area.

Apply Neem oil during bed time.

Hello Aman,

Eczema is a condition in which the skin gets inflamed and becomes swollen, red and itchy. The main cause is the accumulation of toxins that triggers the disease. An incorrect lifestyle and wrong eating habits lead to the accumulation of toxins which triggers various health issues. 

Reasons for eczema

  • It may due to an overactive response of the immune system.
  • Genetic factors or family history may also be the reasons.
  • Physical irritants such as detergents, soap may also lead to eczema.

Local application 

  • Take 1 tablespoon of turmeric and mix glycerin and water in it. Apply this to the affected area. Keep it for 5 minutes and then rinse it with plain water.
  • Mix aloe vera gel and Gulab Jal. Apply the mixture on the affected area.

Diet

  • Start your day with a glass of warm water with a few drops of lemon in it. This will help to flush out the toxins out of the body.
  • Eat light, plant-based natural foods.
  • Drink sufficient water during the day to be hydrated. 
  • Drink coconut water.
  • Avoid dairy products like ghee, milk, paneer, curd, etc.
  • Avoid animal foods.
  • Avoid processed and packaged foods. 

Physical activity 

  • Exercise or practice yoga daily as it is very important for a good metabolism as well as improves the blood circulation in the whole body.
  • Do suryanamaskar daily, 12 sets a day.
  • Practice tada asana, gomukha asana, trikona asana, vriksha asana. 
  • Take short walks after meals.

Meditation 

It plays an important role in reducing stress and improving mental as well as physical health.

Practice meditation regularly for 15-20min. 

Sleep

Sleep is very important for the whole body and mind. During sleep, cytokines are released which helps to fight against the diseases. 

Hence, take proper sleep of 7-8hours daily. Avoid using electronic gadgets to improve the quality of sleep.

The basic pathology behind the eczema disease is in two parts, one part is our immunity gets hampered and starts producing abnormal cells and second is inflammation.

To simplify both, our body is getting affected by our day to day lifestyle and activates its defense mechanism in order to protect it. Skin giving the first reaction to everything going inside the body, that is where eczema begins.

Now what can be these things which are body is protecting from? Stress, smoking, vitamin D deficiency (low sun exposure), any kind of past skin injury-causing infection, a high-fat diet which causes difficulty indigestion. Now that we are clear about the cause. An initiative for holistic change can help you from within and treat you the best.

Eat:

Starting your day with something light in nature and easy to digest is what your breakfast should be. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins.

  • The diet rich in Vitamin C is what we should start with like oranges, mosumbi, lemon, berries are going to be very helpful in the case of iron absorption.
  • Refined sugar and salt, dairy product, and gluten should be completely avoided in your situation.
  • Application of coconut oil is important, one tablespoon of coconut oil in 2-3 drops of tea tree oil will help in keeping the skin moist, apply thrice a day.
  • One tablespoon of olive oil mix with your bathing water while taking a bath.
  • In the evening two hours after your meal in the afternoon take one inch of ginger, one teaspoon of honey and half teaspoon of turmeric in one cup of water, bring it to boil for 5-10 minutes and consume daily. This will help in treating inflammation.

Exercise:

  • Surynamakar helps in increasing the blood circulation doing 12 sets will help, start with 6 if you are a beginner.
  • A brisk walk in early morning sun from 30-45 minutes, helps in treating your body to its level best. Sun is the best source of Vitamin D taking brisk to walk around 6-7 will help in treating psoriasis.

Meditation:

In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it, but with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life.15-minute relaxing meditation with the help of light music before sleep will help you in relaxing.

Sleep:

Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem, sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body.

Stay on only liquids when the symptoms are high. Helps flush the toxins. Get off all animal products sugar gluten caffeine teas all ur life. Stay on a well balanced high raw diet and as this kind of diet progresses in ur life, the occurrences slow down in severity and will reduce.

हेलो,

कारण - स्वस्थ त्वचा नमी को बनाए रखने में मदद करती है और आपको बैक्टीरिया और अन्य एलर्जी से बचाती है। एक्जिमा एक जीन में बदलाव होने के कारण होता है। उस बदलाव से त्वचा की सुरक्षा प्रदान करने की योग्यता में कमी आ जाती है। त्वचा हमारे शरीर का सहज ज़रिया है अम्ल (acid) को प्रतिबिम्बित करने का। शरीर (elimination) निष्कासन की प्रक्रिया में लगा है। हम उसको आहार शुद्धि से मदद करें।

समाधान - 1. खीरा एलोवेरा का पल्प का पेस्ट वंहा लगाएँ जंहा परेशानी है। 20 मिनट के लिए लगाएँ।

2. त्वचा को गुलाब जल बेसन और हल्दी से साफ़ करें। साबुन या कोई भी क्रीम का प्रयोग बंद कर दें।

3. नहाने के पानी में ख़ुशबू वाले फूलों का रस मिलाएँ। नींबू या पुदीना का रस मिला सकते हैं। खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

4. मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें। हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें।अपने मेरुदंड को उस पर रखें।

5. नहाने के पानी में ख़ुशबू वाले फूलों का रस मिलाएँ। नीम का रस भी बहुत फ़ायदा करेगा। बार बार कुछ भी खाने से बचे फल के बाद 3 घंटे का अंतराल (gap) रखें। क्षार (alkaline) जूस के बाद 1 घंटे का अंतराल रखें। कच्चे सब्ज़ियों के सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे का अंतराल रखें। अनाज और पकी हुई सब्ज़ी तेल रहित (oil free) के बाद 8 घंटे का तेल घी का प्रयोग किया गया हो तो 12 से 13 घंटे का अंतराल रखें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें। 

6. त्वचा या शरीर के किसी भी हिस्से को स्वस्थ प्रदान करने के लिए ज़रूरी है कि उसके हर हिस्से में ऑक्सीजन और रक्त का संचार सुचारू रूप से हो।

सुबह लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।

7. सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे। सूर्य नारी सक्रिय रहने से पाचन तंत्र का स्वास्थ्य बेहतर होता है।

8. सुबह ख़ाली पेट आधा खीरा 5 पुदीने या करी पत्ते के साथ पिस कर उसमें 100ml पानी मिला कर पिएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ashgourd) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। पालक  पत्ते धो कर पीस कर 100ml पानी डाल पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। जूस को मुँह में रख कर एक बार सहज स्वाँस लें फिर घूँट अंदर लें।

2 घंटे बाद कोई भी एक तरीक़े का फल नाश्ते में लें। फल को ठीक से चबा कर खाएँ। कोई नमक या चाट मसला या चीनी, दूध मिक्स ना करें। दोपहर 12 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ashgourd) 20 ग्राम पीस 100ml पानी मिला कर लें।

नमक सेंधा ही प्रयोग करें। नमक की पके हुए खाने में भी बहुत कम लें। सब्ज़ी पकने बाद उसमें नमक डालें। नमक पका कर या अधिक खाने से शरीर में (fluid)  की कमी हो जाती।

सलाद दोपहर 1बजे बिना नमक के खाएँ तो अच्छा होगा क्योंकि नमक सलाद के गुणों को कम कर देता है। 

सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल (yellow pumpkin) 50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgourd) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी काजू ,बादाम, अखरोट, मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी लें।रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लें। रात 8 बजे के बाद कुछ ना खाएँ, 12 घंटे का (gap) अंतराल रखें। 8बजे रात से 8 बजे सुबह तक कुछ नहीं खाना है।

9.एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ ले सकते हैं।जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं। तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें। हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

10. उपवास के अगले दिन किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे।धन्यवाद।
