Food to be avoided :
1) High protein diet is the enemy no. one for the gravel to form.
2) Drinking of stimulants like tea, coffee in general and chocolate and its preparation in cakes, pastries, in particular, are next in the queue to precipitate gravel ( stones in the kidneys).
3) Avoid all pulses, eggs, fish, fowl and flesh.
4) Avoid all species and condiments.
5) Avoid drinking of enormous amounts of water as is suggested by so-called sooth sayers, most Dr. And Vaidyas.
Foods to be taken:
1) All seasonal fruits
2) Plenty of vegetables raw and conservatively cooked.
3) Drink natural diuretics ( inducing more urine naturally) like tender coconut water, juices of cucumber, carrots , cane juice, Ash gourd juice.
4) To rule out any possibility of formation of gravel, drink 50 ml of banana stem juice.
5) Try to maximize the services of other 3 excretory organs lungs, bowels, and skin and for that brisk walk 3 to 4 km daily. apply non violent enema under supervision, bask early morning sun for 30 minutes followed by cold water bath. Thus there won't be any possibility ever for the formation of kidney stone
6..Banana pith/stem juice is known to be a very effective in dissolving kidney stones
. 70 ml juice should be taken early morning on empty stomach
In case of pain, hot and cold water fomentation over the seat of the pain should be availed.

कारण - गुर्दे की पथरी (किडनी स्टोन) मिनरल्स और नमक से बनी एक ठोस जमावट होती है। उनका माप रेत के दाने जितना छोटा से लेकर गोल्फ की गेंद जितना बड़ा हो सकता है। वे आपके गुर्दे में रह सकती हैं या मूत्र पथ के माध्यम से आपके शरीर से बाहर निकल सकती हैं।
पथरी के गठन के प्रति अतिसंवेदनशील होता है, उसे तो पशु प्रोटीन और नमक से उच्च जोखिम हो सकता है।
ड्यूरेटिक्स और ज़्यादा कैल्शियम वाले एंटासिड लेने वाले लोगों के मूत्र में कैल्शियम का स्तर ज्यादा हो सकता है जिससे पथरी का गठन भी हो सकता है।
कुछ पुरानी बीमारियां गुर्दे की पथरी के निर्माण से संबंधित होती हैं जैसे सिस्टिक फाइब्रोसिस (cystic fibrosis), रीनल ट्यूबलर एसिडोसिस (renal tubular acidosis) और इंफ्लेमेट्री बाउल रोग (inflammatory bowel disease)।
समाधान - गोमुख आसन, कटिचक्र आसन, त्रियक ताड़ासन करें। भ्रामरी प्राणायाम करें।
खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें और खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा करना है।
नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट अपने नाभि पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें।
मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।
कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। सुबह ख़ाली पेट इनमे से कोई भी हरा जूस लें।पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। बेल का पत्ता 8 से 10 पीस कर 100ml पानी में मिला कर छान कर पीएँ। खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ।
ये जूस सुबह नाश्ते से एक घंटे पहले लें। नाश्ते में फल लें। दोपहर के खाने से एक घंटा पहले हरा जूस लें। खाने में सलाद नमक सेंधा ही प्रयोग करें। नमक की पके हुए खाने में भी बहुत कम लें। सब्ज़ी पकने बाद उसमें नमक डालें। नमक पका कर या अधिक खाने से शरीर में (fluid) की कमी हो जाती।
सलाद दोपहर 1बजे बिना नमक के खाएँ तो अच्छा होगा क्योंकि नमक सलाद के गुणों को कम कर देता है। सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurad) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी लें।
रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लें। रात 8 बजे के बाद कुछ ना खाएँ, 12 घंटे का (gap) अंतराल रखें। 8बजे रात से 8 बजे सुबह तक कुछ नहीं खाना है।
एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ ले सकते हैं।
जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।
तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें।
हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

Vegetable salads with lots of greens and no nuts for lunch
Mildly spiced cooked gluten free oil free meal 30% grains and 70% veggies.

Kidney stones occur when minerals and salts, most commonly calcium oxalate, crystallize in the kidneys and create hard deposits .They are also called renal calculi or urolithiasis.
Dissolving or expelling kidney stones out from your kidney depends upon the size, shape and type of the stones formed. Smaller the size, easier it is to be removed.
Note ; Once you get a kidney stone, studies suggest you are up to 50% more likely to form another stone within 5–10 year. So it is very important to maintain a good kidney health and it's function by eating healthy and living a proper lifestyle .
Following are the advice you can follow ;
•Reduce or minimise the amount of daily sodium intake. A high-sodium diet can trigger kidney stones formation.
•Getting too little calcium in your diet can cause oxalate levels to rise and cause kidney stones. To prevent this, make sure to take in an amount of calcium appropriate to your age.( obtain calcium from food source only).
• Increase your daily fluid intake. Dehydration can worsen the kidney problems further.
•Drink lemon juice daily. Lemons contain citrate, a compound that helps break down calcium deposits and slow their growth. Two 5-oz glasses, the first on an empty stomach first thing in the morning and another a few hours before dinner, may help break down smaller stones.
•Wheatgrass juice can help to expel minerals and salts from the urinary tract, preventing them from crystalizing into kidney stones.
• Eating too much animal protein, such as red meat, poultry, eggs, and seafood, boosts the level of uric acid and could lead to kidney stones. A high-protein diet also reduces levels of citrate, the chemical in urine that helps prevent stones from forming. Avoid these foods for better kidney health and it's functions.
•Avoid other stone-forming foods such as chocolate, spinach, tea, and most nuts are rich in oxalate, colas are rich in phosphate, both of which can contribute to kidney stones.

Kidney stones are due to crystallization of minerals and salts, most commonly calcium oxalate, they formed in the kidneys, but they will move any part of the urinary tract. Kidney stones are also called calculi or urolithiasis.
Dehydration is considered a major reason for the development of kidney stones. When the body is dehydrated, fluid moves more slowly through the kidneys, increasing the chances of mineral and salt compounds coming into close contact and sticking together and forms crystal and stones. Small stones may form and pass on their own without causing any symptoms. However, most medium or large stones are extremely painful to pass and require treatment.
Natural remedies:
Water: Drinking water is one of the easiest ways to prevent and treat kidney stones. Drinking 2-3 litres of water day helps to prevent or get relived from stones.
Lemon juice: Lemons contain citrate, a compound, helps break down calcium deposits and slow their growth.
- Drinking in empty stomach first thing in the early morning and few hours before dinner, helps to break down the stones.
Basil juice: Basil contains compounds which helps to stabilize uric acid levels, making it harder for kidney stones to form. Also, basil contains acetic acid, a chemical known to help dissolve stones.
