My husband's Egfr is 20. His kidneys have shrunk. He is on BP medication. Can we improve the EGFR by natural remedy even though the kidneys have shrunk?

Hi there, 

eGFR is nothing but a test to check the level of creatinine in your blood.Creatinine is a natural waste products from the muscular activity carried by blood and filtered in the kidney which is mostly eliminated through urine.  eGFR below 20 indicates a severe decline in glomerular filtration rate of the kidneys which should be taken care of properly. Every possible and preventive steps should be taken to ensure that no further damage is done to the kidneys. A considerable amount of time and effort should be take to improve the lifestyle and eating habits which are the only way to keep the kidneys healthy.

• Ensure that the fluid intake is sufficient to maintain a good metabolism for your body. Dehydration can cause damage to kidneys which can further worsen the condition. Try consuming more healthy juice and soups.

• Stick with a whole plant based diet which includes fresh fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts. This foods are easily digested and absorbed, providing all the necessary nutrients to keep your body healthy. 

• Eat more foods which are rich in dietary fibres like whole grains, while bread, fresh fruits and vegetables, seeds and nuts. 

• High blood pressure is one major factor that can worsen the GFR in your kidneys. Maintain normal blood pressure so that no further damage can occur. 

• Minimise your salt or sodium intake. 

• A minimum of 45 minutes daily physical activities or exercise is a must to keep your kidneys healthy. Physical activities improves the metabolic activity of the body, boost your body and mind and keep you in shape. 

• Avoid smoking, alcohol, carbonated drinks, and every other processed foods.

कारण - किडनी हमारे शरीर के सबसे महत्वपूर्ण अंग है। खराब लाइफस्टाइल और खानपान की वजह से आजकल किडनी खराब होने की समस्या आम बात हो गई है। किडनी खराब होने के बाद हमारे शरीर में कई तरह के बदलाव होते हैं लेकिन हम इसे अक्सर इग्नोर कर देते हैं।

ब्लड प्रेशर यानी रक्त संचार में दोष किसी दवा से नहीं बल्कि खान पान में सुधार से ठीक होगा।

क्योंकि कोई भी दवाई मूलकारण पर नहीं बल्कि मूलकारण के कारण के वजह से शरीर में हो रहे प्रतिक्रिया के ऊपर काम करते जिससे फ़ायदा नहीं बल्कि नुक़सान होता है।

समाधान - सुबह ख़ाली पेट, दोपहर खाना के एक घंटे पहले और शाम 5 बजे पेठे का जूस लें।

शारीरिक और मानसिक क्रिया में संतुलन बनाए। जानुशीर्षआसन, भुजंग आसन, ताड़ासन, कटिचक्रआसन, मकरासन, शवासन करें।

10% कच्चे हरे पत्ते और सब्ज़ी का जूस बिना नमक निम्बू के लेना है।30% कच्चे सब्ज़ी का सलाद बिना नमक निम्बू के लेना है।10% ताज़ा नारियल सलाद में मिला कर लेना है। 20% फल को लें। पके हुए खाने को केवल एक बार खाएँ नमक भी केवल एक बार पके हुए खाने लें। पके हुए खाने में सब्ज़ी भाँप में पके हों और तेल घी रहित होना चाहिए सब्ज़ी की मात्रा 20% और millet या अनाज की मात्रा 10% हो।  वर्षों से जमी टॉक्सिन को निकालना ज़रूरी है। किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में पहली बार लें। एनिमा किट मँगा लें । यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 100ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में एक बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में उपस्थित विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये।ओ

शरीर पाँच तत्व से बना हुआ है प्रकृति की ही तरह।

आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल, पृथ्वी ये पाँच तत्व आपके शरीर में रोज़ खुराक की तरह जाना चाहिए।

पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है।

आपका मुख्य आहार ये हुआ तो बहुत अच्छा हो जाएगा।

1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें।

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें। इसके बाद फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें, रुकें, फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें। ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक समय पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें। खुली हवा में बैठें या टहलें।

3 अग्नि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट अपने नाभि पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 

5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा। आप सुबह खीरे का जूस लें, खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। बेल का पत्ता 8 से 10 पीस कर I100ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। बेल पत्ता 8 से 10 पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर लें। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। जो की आपको ज़बर्दस्त फ़ायदा करेगा। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। फल को चबा कर खाएँ। इसका juice ना लें।

दोपहर में 12 बजे फिर से कच्चे सब्ज़ी जूस को लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ।शाम को 5 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ashguard) 20 ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी मिला। 2 घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डाले। ताज़ा नारियल मिलाएँ। रात का खाना 8 बजे खाएँ। 

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ, बहुत फ़ायदा होगा। पृथ्वी तत्व को शरीर में डालने का एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल (liquid) को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें। ठोस (solid) भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ (liquid) ले सकते हैं। ऐसा करने से हाज़मा कभी ख़राब नहीं होगा। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन छोड़ने से ज़्यादा लाभ होगा।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा।

   Only one kidney was sufficient to sustain our body but the Supreme Being has bestowed us with two kidneys  If one kidney is damaged the other kidneys grows in size to tackle the work of another diseased kidney. 

  1.    Enemy no 1 for the kidneys are the heavy intake of protein sourced/available from meat,  eggs, pulses, nuts, milk products, cheese, etc
  2. Enemy no 2 is the sluggish skin which doesn't throw out the toxins through sweat/perspiration 
  3. Constipation  is  also a contributing factor, to remedy  apply an enema of 300 ml cold water daily for a month or so (under expert guidance)
  4. To  strengthen lung power so very necessary to expel out the toxins so as to lessen the burden of kidneys and to  help kidneys to recuperate early 
  5. Intake of salt is also inimical  cut down on salt intake 
  6. Avoid all enervating foods the likes of processed, refined foods, tea, coffee non-vegetarian, eggs, milk products  sugar  etc 
  7. For lessening the work load of kidneys  skin has to work overtime  for that basking in the early morning sun for 30 to 40 minutes  is must and again in the setting sun 
  8. The  diet of the kidney patient would be  only  boiled vegetables and fruits with few dates  resins and very small amounts of flaked rice (poha पोहा)

   With this regime, the  kidneys will be  healthy again to discharge their  duty  faithfully
