When the colon is lined with rotting waste, unwanted bacteria and foods that was not digested properly in the stomach and before coming into the colon. The causes still remains the same - foods such as dairy eggs, gluten, meat, seafood consumed over a long period of time with heavy fats and proteins that weakens the bile and the hydro chloric acid in the gut. With weaker stomach acids and and ineffective weak bile, the food does not to get digested properly and leaks into the intestine while the pathogens feed on them . Overtime it reaches the colon which is the final dumping ground. This causes inflammation, pains constipation, diarrhoea and can also result in piles, fissures and yeast infections on the excretory organs.

 

To heal this condition., It is best that you start cleaning the  GUT, which in turn will clean the liver, which in turn will be ready to absorb and deliver nutrients throughout the body and eventually cleaning the intestine as well.  If the previous organs in the process have done their job, the colon will not have to take a hit. it’s very important that the liver starts doing its job to heal any kind of intestinal issues/organs of excretion so that the unwanted food , pathogens and heavy metals doesn’t end up in the intestines and colon. Ideally these are supposed to thrown out naturally after altering its state, but when they end up as-is, they attract more issues in the colon which the colon might not be geared up to do 

 

When body organs are clean, they do their job perfectly well. With a right lifestyle this can be achieved . You must switch to a low fat plant based lifestyle. Low fat here because fats also come in low % from raw foods like fruits vegetables and greens. 

 

  1. Give rest to the digestion and colon by juicing majorly for few days with greens,  fruit or veg juices only in abundance like it’s your meal - 3-4 lts for a week. 
  2. Stop the consumption of dairy eggs meat seafood
  3. Stop all forms of fats ( oils , grease , nuts seeds ) that will add load to an already compromised liver
  4. Stop all forms of foods that are purchased
  5. Go raw on greens, fruits majorly for one full month/ 2 months as conditions improve
  6. Juices till 12, fruits for lunch, vegetables and greens chewed completely and eaten for dinner . 3-4 cups of greens
  7. Cooked food post that has to be only once a day without using oils or ghee with 30% grains that are gluten free and oilfree, unpolished, unrefined 
  8. Wheat and foods with maida wheat has to be avoided 
  9. Sugar and processed sweetners avoided 
  10. Place a cold wet towel daily on the abdomen for 30 mins. Start with 5 mins hot towel and 25 mins cold
  11. Exposure to sunlight for 30 mins
  12. Yoga pranayama 
  13. Practice mental peace, leading a stress free life, free of any form of negativity 
  14. Take water enema for a month without interfering with your normal bowel movements after constipation is resolved. Consult an expert as needed 
  15. Expect some infections as you are on a healthy lifestyle as the junk comes out of the body. No medicines must be taken at any cost. Only juicing.

Constipation refers to a disturbance in bowel habits but has varied meanings.

There are many factors that contribute to or cause constipation.

The most common causes are:

 Eating a diet too low in fiber.

·Eating too few calories.

 Not drinking enough fluids.

 A low physical activity level.

 Due to medications.

To  cure  constipation:

Behavior changes: It is best to establish a regular pattern of bowel movement. Persons having normal bowel patterns usually defecate at approximately the same time every day. Since the bowels are most active after awakening and after meals, the most optimal time for a bowel movement is usually within the first two hours after waking and after breakfast. Don’t ignore the signal to defecate.

Diet: Fiber increases stool bulk, which helps stools move through the colon. The recommended amount of fiber is 20 to 35 grams daily. Fresh Fruits, green and green leafy vegetables and cereals are an excellent source of fiber. Citrus fruits, prunes, fig, and prune juice are especially helpful.  Bloating and flatulence is a common problem with increased fiber so it is best to start slowly and increase the amount of fiber gradually.

Drinking Lauki juice, beetroot carrot juice daily in the morning also helps to relieve constipation.

Adding ginger in your food also helps to improve your digestion and helps to relieve constipation.

Insoluble fibers: Consume more insoluble fibers. Insoluble fiber is not digested by the body and is excreted as waste. This type of fiber promotes bowel regularity and discourages the development of constipation and other complication like hemorrhoids. Insoluble fibers are present in wheat bran, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and skins of vegetables and fruits.

Drink plenty of liquids: Consume more fruit juices, Fluid helps your body process fiber without any discomfort.

Include exercise or physical activity in your daily routine. Physical activity is a natural way to relieve constipation. Get up early in the morning and drink lukewarm water then go for a brisk walk or gentle jogging to help your body get hydrated and help in relieving constipation.

 Avoid Tea, coffee and other carbonated, packed /canned drinks.

 Avoid spicy, oily fried food items.

  Avoid milk and milk products.

· Avoid polished rice, sugar, and maida.

·Drinking cinnamon water 30 minutes before going to bed also helps to relieve constipation.

Consume overnight soaked figs/raisins daily.

 Include more raw vegetable salads and sprouts in your diet.

   Avoid non-vegetarian food items.

Practice regular Yogasana: Asanas like pawanamuktasana, naukasana, matsyasana, vajarasana, vakrasana, and ardhamatsyendrasana.

Practice regular pranayamas like nadishuddhi and bhramari help to reduce your stress which is also a cause for constipation.

Cold mud pack on the abdomen is also beneficial in relieving constipation.

Constipation is nothing but a condition of a digestive system characterised by infrequent and hard bowel that are difficult to pass. It can occur even without any underlying disease such as dehydration, lack of dietary fibres, and sedentary lifestyle habits. The best remedy for treating constipation is to eat a fibre rich diet, increase fluid intake and active physical activity. 

• Dehydration is one of the commonest reason for constipation. Increase your daily fluid intake and keep your body more hydrated in order to prevent constipation. Consume plenty of fresh juice and soups daily.

• High fibrous diet is highly recommended to treat constipation.

When food moves through your intestine, most of the waters are absorbed through the colon leaving the undigested matters hard and dry which are difficult to pass through. Dietary fibres help retain water thereby softening and adding bulk to your stools, which helps aid in the bowel movement. A mix of both soluble and non-soluble fibres such as oat bran, barley, nuts, seeds, beans, lentils, wheat bran, vegetables and whole grains helps soften the stool and make them evacuate easily.

• Consume more fruits like Apple, pears, banana, oranges and grapes as they are rich in fibres. Include more leafy vegetables in your diet. 

• The chances of constipation are always high if you're overweight or obsessed, make sure that your body weight is in right proportion with your height.

• Daily exercise such as walking, brisk walk, jog or any other form of exercises may encourage a bowel movement by stimulating muscles in the lower part of the digestive system. 

• Avoid oily fried foods, every maida products like pastries, cake, muffins, pizza, biscuits and cookies, artificial sweeteners and processed foods. These are common culprits responsible for most of constipation.

•Avoid carbonated drinks, smoking and drinking alcohol.

किसी भी व्यक्ति में कब्ज होने के पीछे कई संभावित कारण - जैसे - एनल फिशर, बाउल ऑब्सट्रक्शन, कोलन या रेक्टल के कैंसर के कारण कोलन या मलाशय में रुकावट, कोलन का संकुचन की स्थितियों की तरह मलाशय उभार, कुछ न्यूरोलॉजिकल स्थितियां जो कोलन और मलाशय के चारों ओर तंत्रिका में समस्याएं पैदा करती हैं, निष्क्रियता, आहार में फाइबर की कम मात्रा, पर्याप्त नींद न लेना, क्रोध, ईर्ष्या ,चिंता,तनाव, जुलाब की व्यापकता, कैल्शियम और एल्युमिनियम से युक्त एंटासिड्स का सेवन, कमजोर श्रोणि की मांसपेशियों में शामिल समस्या, डायबिटीज, पुरानी कब्ज , डिहाइड्रेशन, रोजाना पर्याप्त पानी न पीना, टॉयलेट जाने की अनदेखी करना, दूध या अन्य डेयरी उत्पादों का सेवन अधिक करना भी कुछ कारक हैं जो इसकी संभावना को बढ़ाते हैं।

 

  • नींद -रात्रि में 7 से 8 घंटे के लिए दवाई लें इससे शरीर से दूषित पदार्थ बाहर निकलते हैं और कोशिकाओं की टूट-फूट की मरम्मत होती है ।
  • प्रतिदिन प्रातः गुनगुने पानी नींबू एवं शहद का सेवन करें इससे आंतों की दीवारें फैलती है आंतों में नमी उत्पन्न कर दूषित पदार्थ बाहर निकल जाते हैं ।
  • प्रतिदिन प्रातः खीरा, लौकी, सेव या पपीते के जूस का सेवन करें, आंतों की फ्लोरा को मजबूत कर कॉल में कर्मा कुंजन गति को बढ़ाते हैं ।
  • भोजन में 80% मौसमी फल एवं हरी पत्तेदार सब्जियों का प्रयोग करें इनका पाचन, अवशोषण एवं मल का निष्कासन जल्दी व आसानी से होता है ,जिससे शरीर को पर्याप्त मात्रा में पोषण मिलता है ।

कारण - आँत में अधिक अम्ल (acid) से प्रदाह (inflammation) उत्पन्न हो जाती है। इससे आँत में मल सुख जाता है। रस और fiber यूक्त भोजन ना लेने से पाचन क्रिया को साफ़ सफ़ाई हेतु सामग्री नहीं मिल पाता है। तनाव ग्रसित होने से शारीरिक ऊर्जा का क्षय होता है। इससे बार बार कुछ खाते रहने का मन करता है जो पाचन क्रिया में inflammation पैदा करती है। अनिद्रा होने से खाना का पाचन ठीक से नहीं होता है। नशीले पदार्थ के सेवन से भी शरीर में अधिक ऐसिड  की मात्रा बनती है।

समाधान - कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस लें ख़ाली पेट लें।

कच्ची भिंडी, बथुआ, पानी में भिगोए हुए अलसी (flexssed) सलाद में मिला कर बिना नमक के खाएँ।

पेट पर गिली पट्टी रखें। खीरे का पेस्ट रखें। 20मिनट तक रख साफ़ कर लें। ताड़ासन, कटिचक्रआसन, तिर्यकताड़ासन, मकरासन,  सर्वांगआसन, व्याघ्रआसन करें।

एक टब में पानी डाल कर उसमें 20मिनट के लिए बैठें।

किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे।

जीवन शैली - पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है।

1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें।

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।I

दौड़ लगाएँ। सूर्य नमस्कार 5 बार करें।

3 अग्नि तत्व- सूरर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें और खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा करना है।

नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट अपने नाभि पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें।

मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें।

पेट पर खीरा का पेस्ट 20 मिनट लगाएँ। फिर साफ़ कर लें। पैरों को 20 मिनट के लिए सादे पानी से भरे किसी बाल्टी या टब में डूबो कर रखें।

5. पृथ्वी तत्व- कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है।  सुबह ख़ाली पेट इनमे से कोई भी हरा जूस लें।पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और  नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। बेल का पत्ता 8 से 10 पीस कर 100ml पानी में मिला कर छान कर पीएँ। खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ।

ये जूस सुबह नाश्ते से एक घंटे पहले लें। नाश्ते में फल लें। दोपहर के खाने से एक घंटा पहले हरा जूस लें। खाने में सलाद नमक सेंधा ही प्रयोग करें। नमक की पके हुए खाने में भी बहुत कम लें। सब्ज़ी पकने बाद उसमें नमक डालें। नमक पका कर या अधिक खाने से शरीर में (fluid)  की कमी हो जाती।

सलाद दोपहर 1बजे बिना नमक के खाएँ तो अच्छा होगा क्योंकि नमक सलाद के गुणों को कम कर देता है। सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और अंकुरित अनाज, नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurad) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी लें।

रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लें। रात 8 बजे के बाद कुछ ना खाएँ, 12 घंटे का (gap) अंतराल रखें। 8बजे रात से 8 बजे सुबह तक कुछ नहीं खाना है।

एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ  ले सकते हैं।

जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

Lets briefly understand the working of our system before we understand the lifestyle changes.

Our large intestine, also called as colon is about 5 feet long. The walls of the colon has muscles .Its main function is to absorb water from waste from the digestive system and then creates stool (waste). The muscles of the colon propel the waste out through the rectum to be eliminated. If stool remains in the colon too long, it absorbs more water and can become hard and difficult to pass.. This leads to constipation.There may be may reasons for constipation ranging from poor lifestyle, medications, stress, . Improper dietary habits can easily be rectified by inclusion of fibre rich foods like raw vegetables fruits and whole grains. Fruits and vegetables have soluble fibre whereas whole grains have insoluble fibre. Soluble fibre can dissolve in water and creates a soft-gel like material, whereas the insoluble fibre retains its structure and adds mass and bulk to the stool. Both these together make it easier for the formation and passage of stool through the rectum.

Short term measure

  • Include fruits like papaya, guava, melons, prunes, soaked raisins, dates.
  • Cucumber juice early morning empty stomach.
  • Hot herbal teas with added ginger or star ainse.

Lifestyle changes

  • Avoid all grains, animal foods, dairy, packed, processed, sugary and fried foods. They are all difficult to digest by the body.
  • Include plenty of raw vegetables and fruits. Fruits should be taken for breakfast.
  • Proper rest and sleep.
  • Physical activity everyday helps clear bowels.
  • manage stress either by yoga, exposure to nature or even meditation.
