I have hyperhydrosis ever since I was kid, I sweat majorly from scalp especially on the back side. What can I do?

Perspiration is considered to be good as it helps in excreting out the waste from the body in some cases excessive perspiration will definitely lead to problems such as, dehydration which may lead to fainting. Now here we have to make sure we should curb down the excessive sweat to get a physiological life.

There are food items which you should inculcate in your diet which will help you prevent perspiration at this abnormal extent:

  • You can try and eat food with fats helps in curbing sweat choosing food like cashews, vegan yogurt, and peanuts.
  • Food high in magnesium like pumpkin and almonds helps in reducing the sweats.
  • Also, consuming food which is high in water content like watermelon, cucumbers helps in keeping the body hydrated for a long time.
  • Sweet potatoes help in reducing the sweat due to the vitamin content. With the inclusion of these food items, I am sure you will be able to deal with hyperhidrosis.

The endocrine glands play a major role especially the hypothalamus ( the master gland) in regulating the body temperature. Excess sweating also called hyperhidrosis or craniofacial hyperhidrosis is excess sweating on the head/scalp and face to be specific. Any miscommunication to the hypothalamus can activate the Apocrine glands. They open into the hair follicle, leading to the surface of the skin. Apocrine glands develop in areas abundant in hair follicles, such as on your scalp, armpits, and groin too. The scalp, in this case, get's a message that the internal temperature has raised and hence it has to secrete water and salts to the skin surface to balance the excess heat by evaporations. Typically these issues are caused due to excess toxemia in the body and viral neurotoxins which can impact the central nervous system to send mixed messages. Some of the key causes are excess caffeine, excess spicy and salty goods, nicotine or side effects of medicines. Such issues start in early childhood and continue through adulthood sometimes affecting other organs too.

Although this is not a serious issue, it can cause discomfort to lead a life especially when the head gets itchy over time and chances of developing scalp relates issues are high.

Below is a lifestyle that can be followed for your issue which will get better as the body starts cleansing. You will gradually see a change

Follow this:-

Morning on an empty stomach :

- 500ml filtered / ash gourd juice / cucumber juice/ Green juice or fruit / any watery vegetables like ash gourd / cucumber / ridge gourd / bottle gourd / carrot / beet with ginger and lime filtered.

Afternoon from 12:-

- A bowl of fruits - don’t mix melons and other fruits. Eat melons alone. Eat citrus fruits alone

- Followed by a bowl of veg salad if needed or more fruits are fine.

- Dinner 2-3 hrs before sleep with Gluten-free - millets, rice, quinoa, oil-free unpolished grains or dals 30% and 70% veggies. Avoid wheat and maida. You can replace this meal also with raw for better results.

- Include some exercises that involve moving all your parts (neck, shoulder, elbows, wrist, hip bending, twisting, squats, knees, ankles). Join a yoga or gym and sweat out. Moving the body moves the lymphatic system and cleanses the toxins from the cells. In addition to the raw foods, movement is extremely important.

- See if u can go to the morning sun for at least 30 mins a day. It is very important for healing.

- Ensure that you are deep asleep between 10-2 which is when the body needs deep sleep.

-Wash your head with cold plain water twice a day

What to Avoid:-

- Avoid refined oils, fried food, packaged ready to eat foods, dairy in any form including ghee, refined salt, and sugar, gluten, refined oils, cooking with oil, chemical suppressors to avoid sweating.

- Avoid mental stress by not thinking about things you cannot control. The present is inevitable. The Future can be planned. Stay happy, happiness is only inside yourself. Hyperhydrosis is a condition where there is abnormally excessive sweating that may not be related to heat or exercise. You may sweat to such an extent which might drench your clothes at times or sometimes sweat might drip from your hands. This might disrupt your normal daily activities and cause a social anxiety problem and cause embarrassment.

Some of the causes of hyperhydrosis are gout, spinal injury, alcohol abuse, anxiety, heart disease, hyperthyroidism, obesity, Parkinsonism.

Patients with hyperhydrosis might experience symptoms like wet palms and soles, frequent sweating, make person non-social or introvert, increased self conscious, worrisome about bad odour from excess sweating or drenched clothes etc which could be some symptoms which could all turn into a social problem as well at a later stage if not addressed in a right manner at right time.

Some simple ways to manage it are

  1. Regular bathing – Daily bathing could be useful. Using some natural products that are non-chemical based must be used.
  2. Try to avoid synthetic wear, especially in shoes or socks made out of them which could aggravate the situation. Use of natural cotton clothes are most recommended
  3. Try to wear loose fitting clothes which could increase air circulation of your body
  4. Airing your feet by wearing loose fitting socks or shoes could be useful as well
  5. Change your cltohes often which could reduce the smell of drench and you could smell fresh
  6. Try relaxation techniques through Yoga which could be useful to reduce stress and anxiety.
  7. Cold circular jet given in naturopathic hospital under the guidance must be useful. This a treatment which consists of circular shower jets hitting all over the body and mostly available in some of the naturopathy hospitals. This treatment might not be recommended in cold seasons.

हेलो,

कारण - बहुत अधिक पसीना आना वैसे तो कोई बीमारी नहीं है लेकिन स्वेट ग्लैंड में गड़बड़ी, स्ट्रेस, हार्मोनल बदलाव, मसालेदार डाइट, अधिक दवाएं, मौसम और मोटापे जैसे कारण हो सकते हैं। बहुत अधिक पसीना आने की स्थिति को हाइपरहाइड्रोसिस भी कहते हैं।

समाधान - लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें। 

सर पर सूती कपड़ा बाँध कर उसके ऊपर खीरा और मेहंदी या करी पत्ते का पेस्ट लगाएँ,नाभि पर खीरा का पेस्ट लगाएँ।पैरों को 20 मिनट के लिए सादे पानी से भरे किसी बाल्टी या टब में डूबो कर रखें।

जीवन शैली-  1आकाश तत्व - एक खाने से दुसरे खाने के बीच में अंतराल (gap) रखें।

फल के बाद 3 घंटे, सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे, और पके हुए खाने के बाद 12 घंटे का (gap) रखें।

2.वायु तत्व - प्राणायाम करें, आसन करें। दौड़ लगाएँ।

3.अग्नि - सूर्य की रोशनी लें।

4.जल - अलग अलग तरीक़े का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान, हिप बाथ, गीले कपड़े की पट्टी से पेट की गले और सर की 20 मिनट के लिए सेक लगाए। 

स्पर्श थरेपी करें। मालिश के ज़रिए भी कर सकते है। नारियल तेल से

घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें।

5.पृथ्वी - सुबह खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। पालक  पत्ते धो कर पीस कर 100ml पानी डाल पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। 

फल को चबा कर खाएँ। इसका juice ना लें। फल + सूखे फल नाश्ते में लें।

दोपहर के खाने में सलाद + नट्स और अंकुरित अनाज के साथ  सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurd) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। 

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। लें। बिना नींबू और नमक के लें। स्वाद के लिए नारियल और herbs मिलाएँ।

रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लेएक बार पका हुआ खाना रात को 7 बजे से पहले लें।

6.सेंधा नमक केवल एक बार पके हुए खाने में लें। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें।

7.एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल  को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस  भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ  ले सकते हैं।

हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।

8.उपवास के अगले दिन किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे।
