Can we take roasted nuts like peanuts or gram or cashew etc or chiwda to satisfy our little hungers during our meals? Because only fruits and vegetables do not give satisfaction and joy of eating.

Dear health seeker,
Taruna, in nature cure parlance we say that "One has to eat to live and not live to eat. "It is not clear whether you are a normal and healthy person or suffering some health issues. In Second case you will have to manage stoically to avoid hunger pangs, elimination and assimilation don't go together, either u are detoxifying or eating for health, Hunger pangs are on account of "Poison Hunger "born out of hyperacidity, it is only a matter of few days that by living a hygienic lifestyle the hunger pangs will not be there and ere long by the return to normalcy and tone of stomach you will not need in-between snacking. Put up a brave face, and you will enjoy good health.
Roasted peanuts or other dry fruits are quite dense and concentrated foods not advised to any patient in nature cure as long as her/his disease symptoms are there. Alternatively, you can consume some. Dishes prepared out of fresh coconut and jaggery.

Hi,
Actually your question has 2 parts to it.
- Hunger between mealtimes.
- Boredom from fruits and vegetables.
Let's address this each separately. The first point, hunger between mealtimes. Fruits and vegetables are an excellent source of fibre and are a powerhouse of nutrition. Fibre keeps you full and satiated for a long duration. Chew your food slowly and well. There is no fixed amount as to how much we must consume. Since mother nature has provided it and it is in its purest form your body will signal to you when you are full. The act of chewing slowly and mindfully will help you enjoy your fruits and vegetables. Now, the second point of boredom. So variety is the spice of life. Include a rainbow of fruits and vegetables so you do not get bored. There are many recipes on our website which you could pick ranging from smoothies to a variety of salads.
Wishing you Good Health!
Thank you
