RA is a chronic condition marked by symptoms of inflammation and pain in the joints. The most common symptoms are joint pains, joint swellings, and joint stiffness and could impair joint functions and range of movements in the joints.
Some naturopathic Treatments that could prove to effective might be as follows:
- Advice to take a proper diet. Include green vegetable and leafy vegetables regularly.
- An anti-inflammatory diet is recommended.
- Hot Mud application to painful joints also more beneficial and could be useful to reduce pain in the joints.
- Application of mustard pack: Grind mustard into powder mix with hot water and make a paste. Make a pack on a small cloth and apply it on the painful joints.
- Gentle massage with IR application. Some kneading movements with Infrared light application given in the Naturopathic hospital setup are more beneficial.
- Hot and cold fomentation on the painful areas.
- Acupressure and acupuncture can also help to reduce inflammation and pain. Might be added as a supportive treatment but effective pain management to reduce the severity of the pain.
- If you are overweight please try to reduce the weight through the natural method.
- Make a habit to do some regular physical exercises like gentle walk, breathing exercises and Yoga with props.
- Swimming also helpful in any kind of arthritis if you are able to do it. Underwater exercise is easier and helpful alternatively.
With animal products in your meals, acidity in the body increases and the body will suck all the alkaline enzymes to maintain homeostasis.
If high acidic foods ( not coming under category of fruits, veggies, greens majorly) are ingested, their ph. is less than normal, the stomach does not need to make it acidic to process. The pancreas won’t produce the alkaline buffers to the blood to neutralize the acidity raised by the stomach. So this acidic food in its state reaches the next few levels like the duodenum. which are not geared for this ph. level and bile from the liver and gallbladder are called to rescue this balance. As this bile continues to be overproduced, the liver becomes tired. If the liver and gallbladder are not in good working condition, enough Bile is not made available in the duodenum, and this is how acidic food reaches the intestines. As the liver weakens, the body cleaning is also compromised and blood continues to carry acidic toxins that have the liver could not manage and have reached the intestines where nutrients get absorbed. I went to acidity in the blood goes up, the blood first uses of the alkaline buffers present in its blood plasma to bring the blood closer to an alkaline pH. Unfortunately because of the continuous supply of acidic foods to the body, the level of alkaline buffers is often very low. If the blood pH value falls below this range, then all the bodily fluids such as urine, lymphatic fluid, semen, Cerebrospinal fluids, saliva everything starts becoming acidic. This disrupts all the cellular functions in the body and disturbs the balance. To prevent such a state of decline, the blood starts reducing its acidity by neutralizing it with one of the most alkaline substances in the body that is calcium from the bones. So blood starts dissolving the calcium from the bones in its self to reach an ideal pH level. This is also called leaching of calcium. Blood is a supplier and also a retriever. It will choose parts of the bone where it can leach very quickly such as the ends of the bones. As it continues to do so, that part of the joint weakens that’s producing pain and inflammation. There will also be severe obstruction of blood flow, the viscosity of blood will be thicker. All these factors lead to the accumulation of toxins across the body. The fluids in the body comprises of 25% blood which supplies nutrition and 75% of lymphatic fluids to collect the waste from trillions of cells and take it to all the excretory organs. When excretory organs are already sluggish because of the accumulation of waste that can’t be expelled as organs are unable to function effectively.
Start juicing in the morning till 12 PM. Start your day with half a liter of cucumber juice followed by fruits for next hunger. Do not have any cooked breakfast. Later have vegetable Salads with greens. Only for dinner have wholefood plant-based gluten-free cooked food with 30% millets and 70% vegetables cooked without any oil ( very important). Grains are also acidic as it’s not our natural food. You cannot chew and eat it raw. We are not birds. So limit the qty. of grains dals etc. it’s eaten only for taste and satisfaction only and not to keep yourself healthy. You will see better results replacing this meal also with raw foods
Add yoga pranayama as much as possible and improve as health gets better.
Remove dairy, eggs, meat, fish absolutely from ur life in all forms. Remove sugar, fried foods, ready to eat foods from packets, coffee, tea, green tea, alcohol, etc.
Exposure to sunlight for 40 mins is mandatory.
