May I know how to gain weight? My weight is 38 kg and my age is 18 years old. I am super skinny. What to do?

Hi ,

The main cause for underweight is unhealthy eating habits, wrong lifestyle, irregular meals, stress and lack of physical activities.

By making a change in your lifestyle you can able to increase your weight and don't get depressed. Please think positive and do yoga and physical exercises. 

Yoga and Physical exercises help to improve your digestion and helps in proper absorption and assimilation of nutrients.

  • Eat more in frequent small meals. 
  • Take more calories.
  • Include more fruits and vegetables.
  • Add more nuts and dry fruits.
  • Take proper sleep of 7-8 hrs. It helps to reduce your stress and increase your appetite and increase your weight.  
  • Do regular physical activities like walking, jogging and own weight exercises, Yoga etc.  They help to reduce your stress and improves the Basal metabolic rate and improves hunger.
  • Consume more protein. Add more lentils,  legumes, sprouts and whole grains. Which are rich in protein, essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals.
  • Practice relaxation techniques and meditation to reduce your stress and anxiety which are the main cause for weight loss and. Loss of appetite.
  • Consume dates and overnight soaked Almonds, walnuts, raisins etc in the morning. 
  • Consume more healthy fat like peanut butter, coconut, avocado etc. 
  • Add fruits like banana, mango, custard apple, chikoo to improve your weight. 
  • Add more green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits which will give energy and helps to gain weight naturally. 
  • Avoid canned and preserved food items and juices. 
  • Avoid try, coffee, milk and milk products.
  • Chew your food properly.
  • Avoid drinking water in between meals or before meals.  It will reduce your food intake and absorption. 
  • Include carbohydrates, fat, protein, mineral and vitamins. And take a complete balanced diet in regulate interval in a fixed time.

Remember, you need to get cleaned inside out for the body to work on building you up. The reason some are skinny and some are obese are the same. Assimilation is a big issue if the insides are unclean.

Dear health seeker, notwithstanding hereditary and genetic issues, you can put on healthy tissues, provided you follow the tenets of Natural laws governing our organism. 
     I am afraid you might lose some one or two kilos of weight initially following the natural treatment which will comprise of shedding the toxins laid down in your system not allowing the body's capacity to work to the optimum. 

  1.  For 2 to 3 days subsist on either on fruit juices or fruit diet. 
  2. Form 4th day, eat hand pounded rice or brown rice or wholemeal wheat roti with steamed/boiled vegetables and salads in lunch and dinner, in accordance with the law of Vital Economy means to eat only 2/3rd capacity of your stomach, don't ever overeat. 
  3. To optimize the metabolism it is very essential that you go for a brisk walk in the early morning for 2 to 3 km. Practice deep breathing. 
  4. Let the sun rays rejuvenate your body and improve your sluggish digestion, bask in the sun for 30 minutes followed by a cold water bath. 
  5. Self-massage alternate days. 
  6. Put a wet towel on your abdomen for  20 minutes in the morning or evening at your convenience. 
  7. After some days include sweet potatoes, dates,   bananas, and coconut milk in the breakfast. 
  8. Needless to mention that avoid all enervating, negative fast food, all stimulants tea, coffee, cola, alcohol, tobacco, refined,  processed foods, conserving vitality by not engaging in frivolous activities and habits. 

    Thus by improving metabolism, you should be able to put on some healthy tissues on your frame. Please give more time if you don't get early results, this program has helped many to gain weight.
