Read moreHi. Our body speaks to us through signals. A migraine is the body's way of telling you to slow down.
It never happens all of a sudden, no illness/disease happens all of a sudden. It's only when we miss out listening to our body, that it is forced to give us bigger & bigger signals. It happened with me in 2014. I was getting health issues one after the other & each was bigger than the previous one. But once I understood the body's self-healing powers & nourished myself with good food, air and thoughts, everything became ok.
I always lived with a nagging headache issue, but now it has vanished. So where did I slow down? Two places -
1. foods - Eat easy to digest Natural Foods so that the body gets its deserved time of rest, else it is always busy in digestion.
2. thoughts - I worked on my stress levels, made a conscious effort to engage in joyous activities, used a few techniques like journalling, visualisations, affirmations.
You must read the blog Understand body's natural healing mechanism, especially the videos mentioned at the end of the blog. It will help u understand how ur migraine is not 'sudden' but a result of your past actions.
As far as meds are concerned, I think the answer lies in ur question itself :-). Address the root cause which I mentioned before. I used to take headache tablets quite frequently before, but then I solved the root cause!!
If you would like to know more, pls msg me one on one through my profile.
The reason why the pain seems to disappear when crocin is taken is because the body starts dealing with the chemicals in crocin rather than continue with the migraine. The migraine was actually the body's way of bringing itself back to balance which usually causes pains.
Please take adequate rest, make sure to get enough sunlight everyday, increase raw fruits and diets in your food and practice stress reduction techniques.
Please also note that dairy products, eggs and meat are big trigger causes. It may be wise to stay off these for sometime to analyze if they are indeed triggering your pain.
Suppressing migraine with medication is always a temporary solution. Instead when migraine hits, just switch to plain vegetable and fruit juices for the entire day and sleep in a dark room. The underlying causes for migraine is organs not doing its job. Reason for that is accumulation of toxins in the body due to an inefficient and unhealthy lifestyle.
Consumption of animal products - diary and meat
Medications
Packaged foods
Sugar
Refined oils and polished foods
Ready to eat foods
All these seem to be harmless while we continue to consume them , but what goes in has to come out. If it has to come out then, the work has to be done right from your gut. But when they are not able to recognize the food we put into the body because it’s unnatural, the digestion is usually inefficient and blood continues to carry toxins and deposits it in multiple places as it circulates. Since we are consistently not allowing anything to come out of the body and suppressing it with meds, it stays inside like a volcano. Sometimes little triggers like lack of sleep, lack of eating when stomach is hungry or empty can cause migraines but that’s not the root cause. Toxaemia or toxicity in the body is the cause and lifestyle changes have to be done to include more fruits and veggies and only 30% of dinner to include grains and 70% vegetables. Rest of the day start with plain vegetable juice / cucumber juice / celery etc and include fruits and vegetables to answer your hunger and your migraine will be history.
Hi. Please read our blog on What to do if you have a migraine? Hope you find it useful, do let us know.

Nothing happens suddenly. Disease develops it doesn't STRIKE.
Migraine indicates poor elimination and digestion and high acidity.
You need to address the root cause i.e food choices and food combination.
Start day with fresh, seasonal fruits
Have 1/3rd salads with cooked meals
Do not mix grains
Take sun exposure of 15 minutes within 1 hour of sunrise or sunset
This will improve the condition.
