I am having diabetes from very young age. How can i control it without medicines?

Hello User,

Diabetes is a lifestyle disorder which is how it is becoming a part of every person's life. What is the cause? We all are blaming it on genetics but the issue is with our lifestyle which is completely absorbed by the chemical products and packaged food items.

It is the toxins which we accumulate ourselves with, and our immunity starts becoming vulnerable to it. Even not having the right fluid intake is making our blood filled with toxins, resulting in diabetes at an early age. Sedentary way of living, eating a high-fat diet and working in a glass building that is completely packed and no room for natural air to seep in is the cause of diabetes.

It is time to deal with all these things in an effective manner in order to treat ourselves better. A holistic cure is a right way. What makes a major difference is changing the lifestyle, then, we are not only curing the disease at this stage but also preventing it.

Now let us understand what changes we can make:

Eat:

The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature and easy to digest, is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins.

The ideal diet would be to depend on fruits and raw vegetable intake at least for one month and refrain from something which is oil-based. Have fruit salad in the afternoon time and vegetable salad as evening snack this will be light on your stomach.

  • Consume Vitamin C rich food as it builds up immunity at the same time clear our airway, like mosumbi, oranges, lemon, sprouts, cabbage, capsicum, etc.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Have a teaspoon of methi seeds with warm water in the morning. This will help a lot.

Exercise:

  • A brisk walk in early morning sun from 30-45 minutes, helps in treating your body to its level best. Sun is a great source of Vitamin D that is why walking in the sun and connecting with the sun also help in activating our cells and rejuvenate us for the whole day.
  • Suryanamaskar, 12 sets early morning is helpful for overall health.

Meditation:

In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it, but with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleep with the help of music to stay positive.

In a room take a bowl of water and add two-three drops of orange or lavender essential oils this will help in soothing you and the aroma will relax you and keep you away from any kind of disease.

A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life.

Sleep:

Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem, sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. During sleep, our body goes into a repair mechanism where it heals thy self.

Dear health seeker. 

Diabetes is mother of all diseases, and India is a world capital of this dreaded disease, not for nothing. Our eating habits  combined with our socialistic obligations of treating our guests with tea, coffee and snacks at any time contribute largely towards its vast clientele.

Diabetes is confessedly not cured by allopathy. To manage the situation, they supply insulin from external source- an animal product - in a state where  the pancreas fail to secrete it. In this case, they are at a loss not to pin it down on some bacilli, bacteria, germ etc. Nor do they care to study the cause and remove it. In general, the causes of this can be any or a group of the follwing:-

      1. The pancreas has been so much over-worked, that it has struck work.

      2. The basic material out of which the pancreas can produce insulin is not available in the body tissues and fluids-

      3. That center in the brain that  controls the activities of the pancreas is damaged either owing to degeneration or trauma          [ injury]

Whatever be the case, our universal medicine, maybe either Bilva Patra (leaves) or grass. A regular daily intake of any of these or alternatively, the trouble has been totally relieved. 

Every grain [whole] contains insulin in it's germ [germ], but it is lost to the modern eater.  In Polished rice, atta this valuable part is lost, secondly it is lost in cooking, even if it be the whole grain, because it is destroyed at a temp. of 50 degree C and 55 deg  c and cooking , the simplest boiling, it is at a temp. of 100 deg c Other methods of cooking subject the food to a higher temp. and obviously that natural source of insulin is unavailable to the eater. To rule out any shortfall, coarse grains millet , ragi, jowar oats may be taken in very small amounts along with 80 % vegetables raw and cooked, without oil spices and condiments as per law of Vital Economy

Combined with other Nature Cure tenets  like brisk walking, sunbathing ,spinal baths ,non violent pranayama, the disease of diabetes is radically curable in quick little time, but faith, fearlessness and Grace of God is an integral part.
It will not be out of context to mention to avoid totally all enervating devitalising foodless foods like tea, coffee, fried, processed, animal products and alcoholic beverages.

Diabetes mellitus among adults over 18 years of age has risen from 4.7% in 1980 to 8.5% in 2014 as per WHO reports. This health condition is very much leaned towards the South East Asia Region due to wrong or faulty lifestyle. Diabetes prevalence has been rising more rapidly in middle and low-income countries.

Nature Cure believes that it might be predisposing risk factors like wrong lifestyle, wrong food habits, etc might have been triggering factors for diabetes and also some of the hereditary factors are some of the possible reasons for the same.

Diet and natural remedies could play a vital role in the management of this condition.

Diet Plan for Diabetes:

1. Try to replace white rice with brown/red rice -Rice is a staple grain in most parts of India. White rice has a high GI, which is very detrimental to diabetes. On the other hand, red or brown rice may not be as tasty as white rice but they are healthy and rich in fiber and various nutrients and also less in GI compared to white rice. The red/ brown rice keeps your stomach filled due to high fiber content and also avoid snacking in between the meals
2. Try to include whole grains- Whole Grains like oats, wheat is a great choice when you prescribe a diabetic diet. Quinoa, which is gluten-free, is a great addition for your diet as it is very high in protein, fibre and low in sugar levels.
3. Eat more high fibre veggies- Consuming fibre is very much essential for your diet because as it helps to maintain a healthy digestive system. Fibre present in vegetables prevents blood sugar shooting up, which makes it an ideal thing for people living with diabetes. Consume more green leafy vegetables, beans and peas to get your daily dose of fibres which could prevent getting hungry soon.
4. Consume pulses and legumes -Consuming pulses that are rich in protein, fibre and these have a low glycemic index which makes them safe to include in a diet for a diabetic patient.
5. Consume fenugreek seeds/ powder -
Fenugreek seeds/fenugreek powder can lower your blood glucose levels as the elements present in it helps to release insulin from the pancreas. It is best practice have a tablespoon of fenugreek seeds with warm water or mixed with buttermilk

Bonus tips to control diabetes:

1. Consuming an apple before going to bed could hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) at night.
2. Drinking one tablespoon of gooseberry or amla juice every morning could reduce the oxidative stress inside the body.
3. Exercising everyday could be a great practice to reduce the blood sugar levels, increase insulin sensitivity, enhance weight loss, and also improve the functions of the various systems

Other Tips:

Always go for a whole plant-based diet which includes ample fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts. High fibrous fruits and vegetables such as peas, beans, broccoli, spinach, and dark leafy vegetables should be included in one's diet.

Also, pulses with husk and sprouts are a healthy option and should be part of the diet. Brans, cereals, oats meals, millets, seeds should be an essential part of your diet.

Omega 3 fatty acids should be consumed as they have a beneficial effect on blood sugar and many other cardiovascular diseases. Natural sources for these are flaxseed, chia seeds, and walnuts, etc. These are also low in cholesterol and are trans fat-free.

One teaspoon of fenugreek seeds (methi) soaked overnight in 100 ml of water is very effective in controlling diabetes. Fenugreek seeds are high in soluble fibre, which helps lower blood sugar by slowing down digestion and absorption of carbohydrates.

You may also consume some almonds (soaked overnight) which is also helpful in keeping a check on diabetes.

Never skip your breakfast. Add whole grains, cereals, along with some herbal tea or juice for your breakfast.

Bittergourd juice; Make fresh bitter gourd juice and drink it two times a day.

Exercise is very important in order to maintain the blood glucose level. Utilize an hour or two on physical activity or exercises daily such as walking, jogging, brisk walk, etc.

Some yogasanas and pranayama recommended for diabetes are dhanurasana, mandukhasana, ardhamatsyndrasana, naukasana, navasana, kapalabhati, ujjayi and bhramari pranayama. Practice them under the guidance of a qualified practitioner.

Diabetes by definition means that one has excess sugar in her blood. The sugar ideally is used up by the trillions of cells in the body. However, due to lifestyle, the cells have already got loaded with enough toxins and fats and hence they have shut their doors for the glucose. Whatever one consumes will be converted to glucose predominantly. So one may not know the art of fasting yet and cannot live like Gandhiji by not eating anything because the body makes glucose. So the idea is to follow a lifestyle that will open the doors of the cells to welcome the glucose that is in the blood. 

If you are speaking generically about type 2, then Diabetes type 2 is the easiest to reverse among many other issues. All you need is disciplined living habits with control on cleaner eating habits.

  1. For the management of diabetes fasting on either veg juices or water till 12 o’clock, you can start your morning with a big glass of green juice or cucumber juice,
  2. followed by fruit bowl (big enough for lunch)
  3. followed by vegetables and greens
  4. followed by dinner made up of only millets and vegetables which are cooked without any oils and is free of gluten from wheat maida or barley or oats
  5. Absolutely removing all kinds of fats in the form of oils or any animal products such as dairy, meat, eggs, fish is absolutely necessary for diabetes
  6. Moderate exercise is in the form of yoga and Pranayam is absolutely necessary
  7. Sweets must be only in the form of fruits, dates, raisins and figs. Jaggery which is organic can be consumed only after diabetes reverses, when the blood sugar levels are stabilised
  8. Monitor the sugar levels freq and continue to reduce the meds.

10% कच्चे हरे पत्ते और सब्ज़ी का जूस बिना नमक निम्बू के लेना है।30% कच्चे सब्ज़ी का सलाद बिना नमक निम्बू के लेना है।10% ताज़ा नारियल सलाद में मिला कर लेना है। 20% फल को लें। पके हुए खाने को केवल एक बार खाएँ नमक भी केवल एक बार पके हुए खाने लें। पके हुए खाने में सब्ज़ी भाँप में पके हों और तेल घी रहित होना चाहिए सब्ज़ी की मात्रा 20% और millet या अनाज की मात्रा 10% हो।  वर्षों से जमी टॉक्सिन को निकालना ज़रूरी है। किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में पहली बार लें। एनिमा किट मँगा लें । यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 100ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में एक बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में उपस्थित विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये।

शरीर पाँच तत्व से बना हुआ है प्रकृति की ही तरह।

आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल, पृथ्वी ये पाँच तत्व आपके शरीर में रोज़ खुराक की तरह जाना चाहिए।

पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है।

आपका मुख्य आहार ये हुआ तो बहुत अच्छा हो जाएगा।

1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें।

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें। इसके बाद फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें, रुकें, फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें। ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक समय पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें। खुली हवा में बैठें या टहलें।

3 अग्नि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।र

4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट अपने नाभि पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 

5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा। आप सुबह खीरे का जूस लें, खीरा 1/2 भाग धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। बेल का पत्ता 8 से 10 पीस कर I100ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। जो की आपको ज़बर्दस्त फ़ायदा करेगा। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। फल को चबा कर खाएँ। इसका juice ना लें।

दोपहर में 12 बजे फिर से कच्चे सब्ज़ी जूस को लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ।शाम को 5 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ashguard) 20 ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी मिला। 2 घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डाले। ताज़ा नारियल मिलाएँ। रात का खाना 8 बजे खाएँ। 

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ, बहुत फ़ायदा होगा। पृथ्वी तत्व को शरीर में डालने का एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल (liquid) को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें। ठोस (solid) भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ (liquid) ले सकते हैं। ऐसा करने से हाज़मा कभी ख़राब नहीं होगा। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन छोड़ने से ज़्यादा लाभ होगा।

तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा।
