My name is Lakshmi Narayanan, age 60. I have back pain, knee pain from last 22 years. I am a type 2 diabetic and have BP issues also. Can it be cured naturally?

Hello Lakshmi Narayan,

Once we get one type of illness entering our body it makes us pre-dispose to many other things. This is the reason you need to treat yourself in a holistic manner and not depending on one type of thing.

It is the lifestyle which we have made our body vulnerable to, with bad posture and a sedentary lifestyle we start getting affected by the pain which makes our blood supply low to the needed parts leaving us in discomfort. As the blood flow is getting affected there high blood pressure which tends to constrict our blood vessels. With the kind of food, we eat our body starts becoming sluggish in metabolism and insulin which is a hormone released by the pancreas starts resisting which produced diabetes. An increase in unwanted weight also starts coming into the picture.

That is why a holistic lifestyle cure is what we should be seeking,

Eat:

A good amount of water is needed in the body, 5-6 liters of water is at least needed in the body, the blood is there 5-6 liters so at least that much of water is needed in the body. Start storing the water in copper bottles so as to make sure you get a good amount of copper. Copper is the required mineral which helps in treating fluid.

When we eat the right kind of food at the right time we make sure that it is easily absorbed. Let us start our day with a good amount of water, 2-3 glasses of warm water as it helps in flushing out the toxins. These toxins which come and make our immunity vulnerable to diseases need to be flushed.

Your breakfast should comprise of something light, a fruit bowl and after some time a vegetable juice is easy to digest. This will help in the absorption of nutrients easily.

  • Having methi seeds one teaspoon with a glass of warm water will also help, empty stomach. This will aid in curing diabetes, which increases insulin sensitivity.
  • After two hours of your afternoon meal start with having a clove of raw garlic. Raw garlic ends to dilate the blood vessels while increasing the flow and reducing pressure.
  • Calcium is another mineral which is needed at this stage to make sure our bones are working in harmony without pain, Seeds are another good source of calcium, for example, flax seeds.

Exercise:

Let us start with the exercise part in a broader spectrum, exercising will not only help you in bringing back the comfort but also get a good amount of energy.

1. After sitting on a chair, raise your legs at a right angle one by one and do it continuously, for 25 times. Do it with one long breath at a time.

2. A brisk walk is something that you can do daily without getting knee pain or backache.

3. By sleeping on your back, you do leg raise alternately, this will put more pressure on the muscles.

Whenever you have an episode of high blood pressure, sleep on your left lateral side this will even out your blood circulation bringing BP in control

With the help of these guidelines, you will surely be able to work on your knee pain and your exercises will be fruitful without discomfort or pain.

Meditation:

  • Practice mindful meditation.
  • Deal with your stress.
  • Allow positivity to be part of your life.

Doing a 15-minute exercise before sleep like deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind, you can use music also for relaxation. A calm mind will lead to a healthier body.

Sleep:

Getting 7-8 hours of sleep is very essential for the body, during sleep our body repairs itself and rejuvenates us for the whole day. All the inflammatory process will be treated well once you feel healthy. Sleep will help in relaxing and all your cell will rejuvenate the next day.

These are the signs that your body is giving to you because of the accumulation of toxins in it which is a result of the wrong lifestyle and wrong eating habits. 

Things to follow- 

  • Apply hot mustard oil on the joints and back and give a massage of 15-20min. 
  • Drink sufficient water to flush out the toxins out of your body. 
  • Have meals at the appropriate time.
  • Never skip your meals.

Diet to follow- 

  • Start your day with a glass of warm water. 
  • Have only plant-based natural raw foods in your diet. 
  • Have whole grains like barley, millets, oats.
  • Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices like beetroot juice, apple juice.
  • Have fresh fruits and vegetables. 
  • Include salads, nuts, sprouts, beans in your diet.

Foods to avoid- 

  • Avoid refined grains and refined oil. 
  • Cook oil-free.
  • Avoid packaged and processed foods. 
  • Avoid dairy foods like milk, butter, cheese, paneer, etc.
  • Avoid animal products. 
  • Avoid sugars and sugary foods.

Exercise and yoga 

Exercising is very important for the normal functioning of every part of the body. 

  • Take a walk of 30 min regularly early in the morning. 
  • Perform 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily.
  • Do hala asana, bhujanga asana, sarvanga asana. 
  • Do pranayams like anulom-vilom, kapalbhati. 

Sleep

Take 8-10 hours of sleep daily. 

Sleep early at night at around 10 pm and also wake up early in the morning at around 6 am. 

Read books before sleeping for a good quality of sleep.

कारण- शरीर के किसी भी हिस्से में दर्द का मुख्य कारक होता है शरीर में बढ़ा हुआ अम्ल शरीर का हाजमा खराब होने पर हमारे शरीर में अम्ल की अधिकता हो जाती है शरीर में अम्ल की अधिकता होने पर रक्त संचार में कमी आती है और यह दर्द का कारक बनता है।
यह एक दीर्घकालिक मेडिकल समस्या है, जिसमें खून में मौजूद शुगर या ग्लूकोज का स्तर बहुत अधिक बढ़ जाता है। टाइप 2 मधुमेह में आपके शरीर की कोशिकाएं, इन्सुलिन के प्रति इतने अच्छे से प्रतिक्रिया नहीं दे पाती जितने अच्छे से देनी चाहिए।

2 . 10% कच्चे हरे पत्ते और सब्ज़ी का जूस बिना नमक निम्बू के लेना है।30% कच्चे सब्ज़ी का सलाद बिना नमक निम्बू के लेना है।10% ताज़ा नारियल सलाद में मिला कर लेना है। 20% फल को लें। पके हुए खाने को केवल एक बार खाएँ नमक भी केवल एक बार पके हुए खाने लें। पके हुए खाने में सब्ज़ी भाँप में पके हों और तेल घी रहित होना चाहिए सब्ज़ी की मात्रा 20% और millet या अनाज की मात्रा 10% हो। 

3. वर्षों से जमी टॉक्सिन को निकालना ज़रूरी है। किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में पहली बार लें। एनिमा किट मँगा लें । यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 100ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में एक बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में उपस्थित विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये।

शरीर पाँच तत्व से बना हुआ है प्रकृति की ही तरह।

आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल, पृथ्वी ये पाँच तत्व आपके शरीर में रोज़ खुराक की तरह जाना चाहिए।

पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है।

आपका मुख्य आहार ये हुआ तो बहुत अच्छा हो जाएगा।

1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें।

2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें। इसके बाद फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें, रुकें, फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें। ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक समय पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें। खुली हवा में बैठें या टहलें।

3 अग्नि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे।

4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं।

नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट अपने नाभि पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें।

मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 

5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा। आप सुबह खीरे का जूस लें, खीरा 1/2 भाग धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। बेल का पत्ता 8 से 10 पीस कर I100ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। जो की आपको ज़बर्दस्त फ़ायदा करेगा। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। फल को चबा कर खाएँ। इसका juice ना लें।

दोपहर में 12 बजे फिर से कच्चे सब्ज़ी जूस को लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ।शाम को 5 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ashguard) 20 ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी मिला। 2 घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डाले। ताज़ा नारियल मिलाएँ। रात का खाना 8 बजे खाएँ। 

लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ, बहुत फ़ायदा होगा।

6. पृथ्वी तत्व को शरीर में डालने का एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल (liquid) को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें। ठोस (solid) भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ (liquid) ले सकते हैं। ऐसा करने से हाज़मा कभी ख़राब नहीं होगा। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन छोड़ने से ज़्यादा लाभ होगा। तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा।

Diabetes is a result of excess fats in the body from oils, grease, meat, dairy (animal-based milk curd, butter, ghee, paneer, malai etc). When fats become excess, the cells shut their doors to glucose. When glucose is excess in the blood now as the cells won't accept them, the blood becomes thick and syrupy. This is the reason why you also have BP. The heart is suffering to pump that thick blood across your body. Peripheral neuropathy/leg pains/swelling is also a parallel issue when you are on medicines/lifestyle that continues to worsen these issues.

Switching to a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle will heal you holistically and all the issues will be addressed and reversed in parallel. The blood will have to get cleaned, the GUT will have to get cleaned, the clogged lymphatics which helps in waste elimination has to move its old wastes, kidneys have to improve its filtering, the colon has to release old sticky rotting waste. All these will need a lifestyle that is focussed on helping the body do its job.

1) Focus on consuming 3-4 lts of water, veg and fruit juices all day

2) Consume only fruits for breakfast.

3) Switch to millets and unpolished rice for grains and avoid wheat. For lunch and dinner you can do this. As you get into a habit of following this, slowly switch the lunch to vegetable salads and have only cooked for dinner.

4) Learn oil-free cooking from wellcure recipes or youtube.

5) Avoid using any form of processed sweeteners like sugar or jaggery. You can use dates, raisins, figs

6) Use nuts, seeds, coconut in very moderate proportions until all your conditions fully reverse in few months

7) Brisk walk / do yoga for 30mins to move all the body parts as much as possible

8) Get into a habit of getting sun exposure in the morning for 30mins. This helps in rejuvenating your cells
