With our high-fat diet and sedentary lifestyle we make our body vulnerable to these simple regulations of our body and what we need is to correct this, which can only be done in a healthy manner. everything in today's lifestyle is playing an aggravating factor to a diseased body like pollution, chemical products, and adulterated food and this is the time to deal with it.
With the following advice, we are sure you will be able to treat everything in a holistic way.
Eat:
Start the day with two-three glasses of warm water, this will help in flushing out the toxins and improve the state of metabolism by increasing it. The next thing is the inclusion of vegetable juice in your breakfast as this will help in giving the right amount of energy for the day.
Keep at least two hours gap between your food and your sleep timing at night. You can also choose to have vegetable juice in your breakfast, it is an easier way to absorb all the nutrients. Stay hydrated as a dehydrated body leads to headaches.
- Whenever you are having an episode of migraine apply a paste of gram flour and turmeric with rose water and apply it on your forehead, sleep in a supine position. this will be soothing.
- Have an inch of ginger boiled in a cup of water with one teaspoon of honey with two tulsi leaves, this tea will help you relieve migraine. As ginger helps in combatting headaches.
- Going for a head massage, daily at night massage the head with coconut oil and aloe vera gel, this will help in soothing the nerves and reduce the episode of anxiety.
Exercise:
- Taking a brisk walk in the early morning sun rays helps in treating all the problems, as the sun helps in treating the mood and freshen us for the whole day, it stimulates our system and strengthens our immunity. Early morning walk is recommendable.
- Yoga asana like Adho Mukha asana, Ardh Halasana is beneficial to practice. Hold the posture for 5-10 seconds and repeat them 5 times each. Even during migraine episodes if you are empty stomach for two hours you can practice it. Proceed with a session of Suryanamaskar in the early morning session.
- Suryanamaskar will help in treating the health issues and will help in dealing with all problems, 12 sets a day is recommendable. If you are a beginner start with 6 and increase it.
Meditation:
Stop using the gadget on hour before sleep, you can use a fragrant diffuser where you can use essential oils and then with the smell itself you will start feeling calm. Rosemary and lavender oil will be helpful.
Take 10 long deep breaths, and allowing your body to relax, any thought which comes let it go do not resist. Saying the affirmation, I am healthy and happy" release each breath.
This will help a lot in treating migraines. Communicating with like-minded people always help, going out in groups make us not only share or idea and thoughts but motivate and learn something new.
Sleep:
The sleep is a very important part of treating any mental symptom, a sleep cycle of 90 minutes should be completed in order to get a sound body. This sleep cycle should be repeated 5 times. This makes 7-8 hours of healthy sleep.
While sleeping you make sure to take a pillow beneath your feet so that because of leg elevation blood reaches adequately to your brain.

A person is said to have migraine when there is sharp shooting pain in the head which may be associated with nausea or vomiting. This results due to an improper blood supply to the brain which results in an improper oxygen supply and hence it results in pain. The accumulation of toxins in the body and in the blood results in this problem.
Reasons for migraine:
- Excessive stress.
- Lack of sleep.
- Being on an empty stomach.
- Genetic factors.
- Excessive use of electronic devices.
Diet to follow:
- Have overnight soaked raisins in the morning.
- Have 2 glasses of warm water on an empty stomach in the morning.
- Have bottleguard juice and beetroot juice.
- Eat only plant based natural foods in your diet.
- Include salads, fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables in your meals.
- Have freshly prepared fruit juices.
- Drink coconut water.
- Replace white rice with brown rice.
- Have whole grains like barley, millets, oats.
Foods to avoid:
- Avoid packaged foods and processed foods.
- Avoid dairy products and animal foods.
- Avoid spicy and deep fried foods.
- Avoid refined sugars.

Yoga:

- Perform anulom-vilom as it also improves the blood circulation in the whole body.
- Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar.
- Perform Paschimottan asana, chakra asana, trikona asana (under expert supervision)
- Start your day with jogging for atleast 15 mins.
- Walk barefoot on grass early in the morning.
- Take sunrays in the morning.
Sleep
- Sleep is very important for relaxing body and mind and relieving all the stress.
- Take a proper sleep of 8-10 hours daily.
- Sleep early at night at around 10 pm and also wake up early in the morning at around 6 am.
- Don't use any electronic devices like mobiles, laptops, computers, tv,etc 1 hour before going to bed to improve the quality of sleep.

When a migraine hits, just switch to plain vegetable and fruit juices for the entire day and sleep in a dark room. The underlying causes for migraine is the organs not doing their job. Reason for that is the accumulation of toxins in the body due to an inefficient and unhealthy lifestyle. When the GUT is lined with old wastes that sit there rotting, you have a migraine. You can assume that migraine is caused when you don’t have food in time. If you have something instead of focusing on cleaning yourself, the migraine will temporarily disappear because it gets busy digesting. Once that job is over, it switches back to migraine. Avoid the following:-

All these seem to be harmless while we continue to consume them, but what goes in has to come out. If it has to come out then, the work has to be done right from your gut. Migraines are a special type of headaches that you experience which is characterized by pounding pain, nausea, and sensitivity to light or sound. Migraines frequently occur on an empty stomach or when you are hungry. Natural treatments are more of a drug-free way to reduce the symptoms caused by migraine. It is more important to prevent them rather than curing them. Prevention plays a vital role in the management of migraines.
Following some simple steps play a vital role in the management of migraines:
- Avoid foods that trigger migraine - Foods like non-vegetarian fried foods, oily foods, artificial ingredients like MSG or Ajinomoto, ice creams, iced drinks, processed foods, etc might trigger the migraine, hence it is best to avoid them.
- Add Ginger -Ginger has proven to be very effective. Ginger could be consumed in the form of juice, 1 teaspoon of ginger juice or dried ginger powder mixed in a herbal coffee could be a more effective method to combat migraine.
- Add magnesium into your diet through almonds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, brazilian nuts, cashews, etc.
- Practice Yoga - Yoga practices like Brahmari Pranayam and Kunjal kriya under a trained yoga instructor could be useful.
- Acupressure - Acupressure could be given on reflex areas which could be very helpful as well.
- Application of Essential Oils (lavender/ peppermint) These two oils have been found effective against migraines.
- Head massage - if you have access to any spa or naturopathic hospital a head massage could give great relief. Regular head massages could be more effective in the long run.

प्राणायाम करना है।
लंबा गहरा श्वास अंदर लें रुको थोड़ी देर सांस को पूरी तरीके से खाली करें और फिर रुके थोड़ी देर ऐसा करने से आपके शरीर में ऑक्सीजन का सरकुलेशन ठीक हो जाएगा ।
सर पर जब इस तरीके की समस्या देखी जाती है तो हमारी सलाह होती है कि सर पर सूती कपड़ा बाँध कर उसके ऊपर खीरा और मेहंदी या करी पत्ते का पेस्ट लगाएँ, नाभि पर खीरा का पेस्ट लगाएँ।पैरों को 20 मिनट के लिए सादे पानी से भरे किसी बाल्टी या टब में डूबो कर रखें।
2. खानपान में मुख्य रूप से गहरे हरे रंग के पत्तों का जूस बहुत ही फायदेमंद होता है। गहरे हरे रंग के पत्तों में क्लोरोफिल होता है और ऑक्सीजन की संचार में यह बहुत ही मददगार साबित होता है।
3. नमक की मात्रा कम ले दिन में एक बार ले और सेंधा नमक या काला नमक ही लें क्योंकि नमक ज्यादा रहने से भी सिर में फ्लूइड में कमी आती है। सिर में liquid रहता है नमक में सोडियम होता जो कि liquid को सोख लेता है।
जीवन शैली - 1. आकाश तत्व - एक खाने से दुसरे खाने के बीच में अंतराल (gap) रखें।
फल के बाद 3 घंटे, सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे, और पके हुए खाने के बाद 12 घंटे का (gap) रखें।
2.वायु तत्व - प्राणायाम करें, आसन करें। दौड़ लगाएँ।
3.अग्नि - सूर्य की रोशनी लें।
4.जल - अलग अलग तरीक़े का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान, हिप बाथ, गीले कपड़े की पट्टी से पेट की गले और सर की 20 मिनट के लिए सेक लगाए।
स्पर्श थरेपी करें। मालिश के ज़रिए भी कर सकते है।
तिल के तेल रीढ़ की हड्डी पर घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें।
5.पृथ्वी - सुबह खीरा 1/2 भाग धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ash guard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। पालक पत्ते धो कर पीस कर 100ml पानी डाल पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। फल को चबा कर खाएँ। इसका juice ना लें। फल सूखे फल नाश्ते में लें।
दोपहर के खाने में सलाद नट्स और अंकुरित अनाज के साथ सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashguard) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। लें। बिना नींबू और नमक के लें। स्वाद के लिए नारियल और herbs मिलाएँ।
रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लेएक बार पका हुआ खाना रात को 7 बजे से पहले लें।

7.एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ ले सकते हैं।
हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें।
8. उपवास के अगले दिन किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे।

The root cause of migraine is an unhealthy gut. You need to increase your fluid intake so that your lymphatic system can throw out and get rid of the toxins from the body. Imagine a water pipe, if it is not cleaned, over a period of time the sides of the tube gets clogged with dirt, reducing the flow of water. Similarly, our bodies also need to flush out the old toxic waste material otherwise they build up causing health issues. If we consume too much of acidic foods like animal foods, maida foods, oily and sugary foods, packed and processed foods, they tend to create a toxic load on the system. When the body is unable to throw out the excess toxins which accumulate in the body then the body eliminates them either in the form of constipation, diarrhoea, flu, headaches, migraine etc. The trigger for migraine could be an excessively loud noise, insufficient sleep, stress etc. But the cause is the consumption of unhealthy foodstuffs like animal foods, fried foods, packed, dairy etc.
Lifestyle changes
- Avoid wheat, animal foods, dairy, packed, processed, sugary and fried foods. They are all difficult to digest by the body. They create a toxic environment in the body. Have one cooked meal with no oil, made either from millets or unpolished rice, buckwheat etc.
- Include plenty of raw vegetables and fruits. Fruits should be taken for breakfast. Since the body is in the elimination mode and fruits are predigested, they cause minimum load on the body. They also contain fibre and help in clearing the bowels.
- Include plenty of fluids at least 3 litres, maybe in the form of vegetable juice, coconut water or just plain water. These will help clear up your lymphatic system.
- Proper rest and sleep. This helps the body to repair and recover. Our digestive system also gets rest and it can focus on the cleaning aspect of the body.
- Physical activity every day helps clear bowels. Movement by the body is essential to get rid of waste materials.
- Manage stress either by yoga, exposure to nature or even meditation. All these releases happy hormones and the body can rest and repair.
