Is it ok if I eat 5 bananas or any of my favourite fruit for breakfast till I don't satisfy my hunger? Any harm of eating 1 fruit only or one should always have a variety of fruits together?

Read moreI am quite a banana lover, and can easily eat a almost 4-5 together to satiate my morning hunger. Mono fruits are good to go, but variety ensures you do not get bored. Overall during the day, I try and ensure I have all of the season's variety- mainly because I just love fruits! If I am mixing fruits, I prefer to mix the sweet fruits together. So usually for variety there will be banana, dates, apples and papaya sprinkled with some anaar daana, and basil leaves (just for flavour)! Banana smoothie mixed with dates and cinnamon also works fantastically well in morning to give that heaviness. Needless to say, in summers the coveted position is then occupied by mangoes! I eat melons always as mono, and not mixed as digestion times vary
In nutshell, eat mono fruits if thats what you want, untill you feel full. Considering fruits get digested very quickly, you may have to do 2-3 rounds, till your cooked meals. Add variety of seasonal fruits, as and when you can- the big advantage of this is you do not get bored. But instead of stressing on adding variety, just focus on what's handy. plus instead of trying to fit everything into one single day, you can assess your 'variety' per week and plan your weekly fruit intake.
Hi I am on a mono fruits breakfast since last three years and my body loves same. I eat raw, fresh, seasonal and local fruits. Its perfect okay to eat 5 bananas if your body is allowing same without throwing out or any other kind of discomfort. Nature has designed our body very beautiful and intelligent. Listen to its signal and enjoy each meal as Prasad. Enjoy your journey on this natural living.
Hi. I eat 2-3 bananas in one go almost every day, depending on the size of the bananas of course. I'm 36. My almost 3-year-old son also generally takes 2 bananas a day......I would not say 5 is a good or bad number because it's totally person specific & situation specific. If you feel satiated only after eating 5 bananas, so be it. If you feel uncomfortable, you won't eat it right!!
But yes overall it's best to have a variety in your meals. Only bananas every single day & no or very little other fruits, I don't think that's a good idea. Keep a balance.
There is no harm in eating one fruit at a time. In fact, that's the best way to eat fruit.
It is best to eat one kind of fruit especially in the morning for breakfast as monomeals are easy to digest. It is also better to have a seasonal juicy fruit for breakfast rather than starchy ones like bananas. Having said that, it is better to have whatever fruit is on hand rather than having a cooked breakfast!
There is no harm in eating as many fruits as you want till you satisfy your hunger. However, make sure to eat mindfully.
