Kindly remove dairy ( even powder milk is milk in another form, ghee, paneer, butter, curd ) sugar meat from his lifestyle. Ulcers are an elimination of an acidic stomach and inefficiently digested meal over long periods of time. His constipation is a big reason that he has mouth ulcers. U have to remove him from dairy immediately and meat or eggs.

Does she have rashes on her hands and foot by any chance? Is the ulcer white in color in the mouth? Does she have fever too ?

I understand it can be painful, but taking any form of medication irritates and oral mucosa by upsetting the work of the digestive system as a whole. Kids who are off acidic animal foods and medications usually don’t get ulcers of the mouth. Constipation’s means that he has been storing a lot of old poop in his body and his blood is also carrying toxins and inflammation of stomach or mouth and other parts are happening.’

Give the child lots of coconut water. Bananas are ok. Avoid citric juices for now.

Gargle the mouth with ashgourd juice 3-4 times a day. If this is not available then snake gourd juice can be used to gargle or rinse the mouth. If you see the Durva grass or the one they use for Ganesh Pooja, u can grind and use that for rinsing too. This is only for the relief of pains of the ulcers.

To remove constipation’s which is the cause, like I said go off diary, add soft fruits and juices for few days until he poops. Give raw spinach and grapes mix juice. U can filter spinach if you want but keep the green grapes unfiltered. If he continues to be constipated he can develop fissures. So be careful and remove this issue asap.

Apply a cold abdominal wet pack for the child 3-4 times. Once the cloth becomes warm, dip in cold water and repeat the process for 10 mins.

If meds are given this time, then kindly do this process anyways and for future please avoid all kinds of animal foods and medications for your child. He will slowly detox and wilL not get into such situations again. Body can only take so much toxins and once it’s topped off, it throws out in such forms. He can get similar issues in future if care is not taken to let the body release it naturally. Be blessed

Hi!
Many thanks for your answer. I have not introduced any kind of dairy product to my son but yes he takes the powder milk for he cannot sleep without the bottle. Twice in a day and thrice at night but hardly finishes the whole of it.
He is not constipated he does a normal poty but for four to six times a day or immediately after or while eating but many a times I have noticed that his poop is quite dry.
I gave him the nariyal Pani and banana and the pomegranate juice and doctor had given him the candid mouth paint and bifilac stating that this is not the harsh medicine but a probiotic which will help his stomach to settle down.
Yes the ulcers were white and nothing on hand n feet. I also had a doubt initially but thankfully was not that one.
For eating I give him mix vegetables paranth, daliya (jau and wheat both), mong or vegetable khichari, aalo and beetroot teekis, daal plus chapatis, rice.
Fruits, only banana he eats I make it with dates and kishmish at time just the banana he is in love with them.
In nuts, I have just introduced cashew to him after two days of nut milk the ulcer was there then I stopped.
But how do I replace the powder milk I am like blank what do I give him instead. Pls Advice
Thanks

Good morning!

Dear Anchal, thank you so much for what have you told me to do it helped Shiv a lot. Same day his ulcers were small by the evening.
I applied honey, gave him nariyal paani, pomegranate juice, banana and daliya only for two days.
Of course, we had gone to the doctor he had given him the candid mouth gel and a bifilac stating that this is a probiotic.
Although the ulcers disappeared but his pooping is on the same way 5 to 6 times a day. Once after he gets up in the morning and then whatever time he will eat he will poop after or in between meals only, he does not have the constipation problem but yes he puts a lot of pressure to poop.
Pls guide what all I can give him to eat dear.
Something is wrong somewhere.
Also, he takes powder milk twice a day and two to three times at night. What do I replace it with he needs a bottle assistance to sleep.
Pls advice.
Many Thanks.

hi priyanka. good to hear shiv is better now. try to introduce variety in his fruits. don't give him bananas more than once a day. let him try some other fruit & breakaway from being a banana only baby. You can also try mixing fruits like papaya, apple, cheekoo, mango in his fruit smoothie. keep banana proportion high initially & keep reducing gradually. buy sweet properly ripened papayas. in smoothie, sprinkle pomegranate seeds on top, kids like seeing those red pearls.......give him soaked raisins first thing in the morning. that's good for constipation.......try giving him vegetable sticks (very thin like noodles) with every cooked meal.....carrot, coconut, shalgam, etc. Even if he eats a few, take it as a victory....and definitely give him soups, esp palak or beetroot based......few days ago we published a story on chronic constipation, see if u get some ideas from there - https://www.wellcure.com/health-journeys/59/my-child-s-chronic-constipation-frequent-sickness-were-resolved-through-nature.

Hi. Ulcers are a manifestation of accumulated toxins in the body. Apply some organic raw honey for external relief to the baby. Give him lots of liquids - coconut water, lemon water (w/o sugar), fruit juices & smoothies (w/o sugar, w/o dairy, homemade), veggie juices. Since he's too small, try giving him by spoon or sip by sip. Make sure he gets to spend some time in the sun & fresh air every day.

Powder milk is processed food. Do work towards taking your son off it. This can really come in the way of natural healing as your son must be taking multiple milk servings in a day!!

For his potty troubles also having fibre rich foods will help. Animal foods have no or very less fibre.

Keep trying to introduce new fruits & veggies every now & then. You never know when the child will start accepting. That's what I have experienced with my 3-year-old. Try giving spinach tomato soup, tomato beetroot soup, add nuts to soup for a creamy flavour, my son likes his soup that way. Try to add variety to his fruits too.

With kids patience is very important :-). So keep trying always and some things will work, some will not, don't lose your cool. All the best.

You need to get your child off processed powder milk immediately. Offer him home made coconut milk. Start with replacing the day feeds and then move to night feeds.

A baby this young should not be fed so many concentrated foods like nuts, chappatis etc..he should have a lot of fruits and soft cooked Millets if really needed. Remember we need teeth for chewing starches and a one-year-old does not have so many yet. So keep it limited.

Let him be at the dining table when all of you eat fruits and he will pickup the habit.

Priyanka, u can give him coconut milk or almond milk... don’t add any sweetness to it as it will leech on his teeth again. Remove the powder milk and add more fruits to his diet over time and it should be fine. Don’t worry ur not alone in such a journey. We all made the switch. Don’t feed more than 1 glass as it’s quite rich. Mornings stick to fruit smoothies and juices and night option keep this. Bye
