  • Consumption of fruits in the mashed form in case of dental issues like banana, mangoes, strawberries and oranges.
  • Consumption of vegetables especially green leafy that can be pureed should be taken.
  • Consumption of good amount of water ( 10 glasses) is a good idea, fresh juices, herbal tea and other non caffeinated drinks are the best.
  • Also consumption of nuts in powdered form or soaked form can be preferred.

Smoothies are great (unfiltered ) and soft fruits are great too. One can grind pomegranate with its seeds and drink.

Green juices with Palak mint coriander banana dates lime and ginger is an awesome combination. If any combination is had unfiltered they will get their share of fibre. It does not always have to come from cooked or eating.

Smoothies are a good bet. You can add greens veggies etc to smoothies and drink them without filtering. Soft juicy fruits can be consumed in form of pulps.

Try to give oats porridge in the diet.

Oats can also be added in the diet in the form of upma, idli, cheela, smoothie. These dishes are liked and well accepted by the elderly age group.

Oats add a good amount of soluble fiber in the diet.

Prefer plain and unprocessed oats!
