Here are some tips which will help you to get rid of toothache.

- Mix 3 percent hydrogen peroxide with equal parts of water and use it as a mouthwash. It will help to remove pain and inflammation.
- Hold a towel - wrapped bag of ice to the affected area for 20 minutes at a time. You can repeat it every few hours. This cold compress will help to remove any pain.
- Crush a garlic clove to make its paste and apply it to the affected area. It will kill the bacteria that may cause dental plaque.
- Dab a small amount of clove oil onto a cotton ball and apply it to the affected area. Do this few times a day.
