I am 24 year old, my weight is 46 am very frustrated to about my weight. Plz tell me how to gain weight

Hello User,

Protein is the first thing which will help in increasing weight. Getting a toned body with an increase in weight should be helpful. Weight gained in a natural manner helps in improving quality of life accordingly.

It should be about everything, food, meditation, sleep, and exercise which amalgamate for good health.

Eat:

The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature. Easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily.

  • Even the early morning ritual should include the consumption of two-three glasses of warm water which will help in flushing out all the toxins.
  • Breakfast should have a glass bottle guard juice of with an inch of ginger with one bowl of raw sprouts.
  • After two hours one fruit, especially a seasonal fruit like banana, apple, mango etc as they aid in weight gain.
  • Lunch should have two buckwheat flour roti with any oil-free vegetable.
  • Snack in the evening should have dates, prunes, apricots as these too, help in gaining weight.
  • Dinner should be done by 7 with soup, a bowl full of raw vegetable salad and legumes bowl.

This will help a lot, continue for a month to see results.

Exercise:

  • Pranayam helps in detoxifying the body. Practicing it early morning in an area that has good sunlight will help in improving blood circulation.
  • Suryanamaskar, daily 12 sets will help in increasing the blood circulation of your body.
  • Pull-ups, pushups are all helpful in increasing muscle mass and help weight gain.

Meditation:

In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it. But with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleeping with the help of music to stay positive. In a room take a bowl of water and add two three drops of orange or lavender essential oil. This will help in soothing you and the aroma will relax you and keep you away from any kind of disease.

Use a 15-minute relaxation technique before sleep by hearing a piece of soothing music and deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind.

A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life.

Sleep:

Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem. Sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our bodies. During sleep, our body goes into a repair mechanism where it heals itself.

Diet is very essential for a healthy body and mind but along with this, physical activity, correct lifestyle and sleeping habits are also equally important. Eating correctly is essential but along with a correct diet, appropriate absorption of the foods that we eat is also important, so that our body can utilise the nutrients present in the foods.

Diet to follow- 

  • Start the day with a glass of warm water with a few drops of lemon juice in it. This will help to boost the metabolism as well as to flush the toxins out of the body. 
  • Eat only plant-based natural foods. 
  • Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices. 
  • Have soaked dry fruits and sprouts in the morning on an empty stomach to get the easily absorbable nutrients. 
  • Eat fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables.
  • Drink almond milk.
  • Have whole grains like barley, millets, oats, etc.
  • Use cold-pressed oil for cooking. 
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day to be hydrated and remove the toxins out of the body. 

Foods to avoid- 

  • Avoid animal foods and also avoid dairy products.
  • Avoid processed, packaged foods. 
  • Avoid carbonated drinks. 
  • Avoid white sugars.
  • Avoid refined oils and refined grains. 

Exercise 

Exercising is very important for a well functioning digestive system so that the nutrients can be absorbed efficiently from the food.

  • Do suryanamaskar daily. 
  • Do kapalbhati pranayam. 
  • Do plank for 5min daily. 
  • Take sunrays early in the morning for 15 to 20 minutes. 

Sleep

Sleep deprivation may also lead to certain issues like weakness, digestive problems, etc. Hence, take proper sleep of at least 7-8hours regularly. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning.
