Hi Nayan. Pls see wellcure’s Journeys section & read real-life stories of people who cured thyroid naturally. You may also find this blog helpful - Hypo or hyperthyroid - correct imbalance naturally.

There need not be extreme diets of the type you mentioned. Simply do changes to align with Natural Laws and  the rest will follow. Some time ago I was discussing the same with a colleague. She did the changes and her biggest surprise was shedding weight which she told me was very difficult for thyroid patients.

Here are a few things that you should start with  -

1. Eat only fruits till noon.

2. Drop non veg and dairy.

3. Eat generous amount of raw veggies salad with every cooked meal.

4. Drink coconut water, fruit juices, vegetable juices, nimboo paani. No packaged drinks.

5. Eat simple home cooked food.

6. Very important  - Work on ur stress. Nothing will work if u are not calm.

If you need more help, please let me know.

No single action will correct the problem since health comes holistically. Work on all these aspects - Major diet of raw foods (seasonal, local, preferably organic), Gentle exercises like yoga, sunlight for minimum 30 mins everyday, relaxation and neutral mindset, deep breathing in clean air, sleeping on time. Please also strive to remove all chemicals in your house in the form of cosmetics, toiletries, detergents, cooking utensils etc.. in short, shift to a natural lifestyle and all parts of your health will improve - not only a specific gland. Have patience and faith - Many have done it. All the best.

I have been suffering from hyperthyroidism since 6 years and i'm trying this and it is working.

So ,what hypothyroidism does is make you sluggish, lazy and less active.

You can try doing exercise to keep a check on your weight by adapting to healthy eating habits, meditation and exercise.

But the problem is not with your weight you need to work on the major issue, your thyroid gland .

 Try doing ujjayi pranayam.

  1. Sit in any meditative pose like padmasana(lotus pose) with eyes closed and try to keep your spine erect.
  2. Take a long, deep breath slowly from both the nostril (inhale or breath in).
  3. While breath in trying to contract the throat and feel the touch of air in your throat.
  4. Remember one thing air should not touch inside the nose.
  5. As air touches the throat a peculiar sound is produced.
  6. Enable the breath to be light and relaxed as you slightly contract the rear of your throat, making a gentle hissing sound as you inhale and out. The sound isn’t forced; however, it ought to be loud enough so if somebody came near you they’d hear it.
  7. Now breath out by closing your right nostril and exhale from the left nostril. Try to produce the sound ‘HHHHHAAAA’ while exhaling.

I have seen a patient recovering of hypothyroidism by just doing this particular exercise.
It will take a little bit of time but believe me you'll be delighted with the results .

Stay healthy
Thank you.

Looks like you have been misguided a lot. None of these diets work to correct a problem and work towards a healthy lifestyle . You must change your lifestyle and not get focused on crash diets. They give short term benefits but not long term cure. The root cause of your problem is accumulation of toxins due to a bad lifestyle. Where there are junk and toxins in the body, viral attacks and scavengers come to eat that and stay. Their byproduct’s cause inflammations in the body. They tend to hide inside the organs and keep messing with it. Hyper or hypo depends on the strain of the virus and it’s byproduct’s. The cause is anyways he same. As long as you continue to feed the foods it likes, it will not go from ur body.

The foods it hates are fruits greens and veggies . This starts killing them by starvation. Virus or scavengers are not designed to attack food or organisms that are alive. Raw food is alive.

The food it loves are diary meat eggs fish oils sugar wheat maida sugar pesticides all forms of chemicals that touch the body pollution related toxins we inhale, chemicals we drink etc

What you can control you can try..rest of it can be managed by thevidy bcoz cells grow stronger to fight and clean the rest of the toxins that cannot be avoided like example pollution.

Kindly don’t go on crash diets. It never works. Dont go on a zero carb zero glucose diet too.. they don’t work innthe long run. Carb is not the enemy. Glucose from fruits is also not the enemy, it’s the fats from oils and ghee. Once you remove the unwanted from ur diet, ur thyroid also will see the relief and start to function normally in few months

Hi Aanchal... With non veg do you also suggest to drop eggs... And with dairy I assume that paneer is also not included? What are the alternative food options that I can get cooked... Could you suggest few dishes... Because that's were I feel that mine options are limited.... I don't know what dishes I should ask my cook to make me.... Is there problem with having rice or chapatis?

07:55 AM | 10-06-2019

Hi Nayan. Yes you have to drop eggs and paneer too. You could do tofu instead - sometimes. See the recipes section pls. You will find all healthy food options there. I understand your concern, but don't worry there are lots of options available. Keep exploring. Rice and roti are cooked foods. Hence body has to expend more energy on digesting them. Instead it should save energy and use it for ur healing. So reduce them. Plus wheat is known to be very acidic. Add other types of grains in your diet.

Hei Nayan, i read your problem and it seems like you are misguided about the diet you have to follow . Consuming just one kind of fruit or veggie is not good for any one .

🌟 Keep a check of your Iodine content .
🌟Use garlic, ginger, pepper in your food preparation ( to increase your digestive fire )
🌟Add more of barley flour in the regular flour to make chapatis . Because Barley possess a scrapping property that helps in weight management .
🌟Add Ujjayai pranayam and Bharamri pranayam. And 5 to 10 min of Om Chanting. This will help in stimulating your thyroid gland.
🌟Avoid Rajma / cabbage/ Cauliflower/ curd/non veg because they have a property that increases phlegm in the body that desturbs the digestion.
