But you can still take some steps such as:
- Try avoiding excess hot and cold beverages for some days.
- I switched to sensodyne but my sensitivity worsened more so don't use sensodyne on a regular basis ,you can use that toothpaste once a week.
- Use vicco toothpaste,it is natural ,I tried and it did wonders after few months.
- Make sure you maintain appropriate amount of calcium in your diet by adding more minerals enriched food.
- You can also brush your teeth with a pinch of salt and mustard oil with your fingers once a week.

Even I have the same problem with sensitivity and have consulted a lot of friends who are into dentistry and then I follow these methods:
1. The best treatment for sensitivity is REST and INHIBITION from substances like hot, cold and sour which generally cause it.
2. Gentle brushing with fluoridated toothpaste.
3. Half glass of lukewarm water with 2 tbsp of honey every morning helps.
4. Salt water rinsing twice to thrice daily
5. Increase intake of turmeric in diet might also help.

1 Oil pulling with sesame oil regularly for a month or two will help. Swish the oil in your mouth for ten to twenty minutes before spitting it out.
2 Guava leaf also helps. You may boil 5 leaves in the water and swish it in your mouth. Can do this regularly for a month for long term relief.
3 Black salt with mustard oil can be used daily with your fingers and massaged on your teeth and gums.
4 Don’t use any tooth paste or a plastic brush on your teeth.
5 You may use a neem stick too regularly.
Working on what you eat is very important.
6 Eat more raw fruits and veggies regularly. Chew your food well. Rinse your mouth well after every food intake with water infused with lemon drops.
7 You May use salt with lemon drops and massage gently on your teeth. And rinse your mouth.

What worked for me was intermittent fasting. Increase gap between meals and dont snack. Also get enough sunlight. Switch toothpaste to vicco.

Sugar alone is responsible for the erosion of very hard enamel of the teeth in combination with refined wheat (maida) , all bakery stuff, sweets are poison for the teeth and gums.
For the health of the teeth, please don't use any toothpaste of any brand or manufacturer. Make your own herbal powder by grinding and powdering, the leaves of guava, mango, Jamun and use this powder.

Tooth sensitivity comes mainly because of hard brushing of teeth.
Atleast from now onwards avoid brushing your teeth in a hard manner.
the other causes are
- worn tooth enamel
- exposed tooth roots.
- cavity cracked tooth
- any gum disease
aviod
- carbonated drinks
- hot tea/coffee
- acidic foods
- smoking
- alcohol
This problem be solved / got relieved by the follwng natural ways
- use soft bristle tooth brushes or avoid brushes and go for natural ones like neem stick
- do practice oil pulling which may seal the teeth
- have lots of fruits and raw vegetables.

Hydrofluoric acid is known to corrode even hard material like glass which is made of silica another hard material, as such fluoride toothpastes are highly detrimental to the enamel of teeth can corrode them.
