Read moreYour son will be all fine. You need to be careful about what he is eating.
Coughing is a sign that the body is throwing out the accumulated toxins.
Stop giving any diary products, packaged items like chips, biscuits, namkeen etc.etc.
If possible less wheat you can add more brown or red rice.
Give him lots n lots of fruits also the soaked raisins will help him in getting rid of cough, dates, kids love them.
You can offer him a variety of smoothies and can see the recipe on wellcure only.
And as a quick fix give him a mix of lemon-ginger juice add honey with a pinch of turmeric, this will help for sure. You can store it in the glass bowl.
By changing his eating habits, you can help boost his immunity.
Take care.
In place of regular milk you can give him almond or coconut milk which is far more healthier.
I would recommend you to make sure his diet doesn't include anything sweet for a few weeks.
- Make sure he gets proper sunlight.
- Give him lukewarm water instead of refrigerated water and food.
- Take him out for exciting activities to parks to evacuate the cough and detoxifying his body too.
- Give him dairy-free golden milk every night with the goodness of turmeric which is believed to be a splendid healer since ages. You can check out the recipe on this link. https://www.wellcure.com/recipes/373/innovated-version-of-dairy-free-golden-milk
- Give him roasted dry dates.
- Massage at his back with lukewarm mustard oil with few garlic and cumin seeds to provide proper heat to his lungs and to release the increased fluid.
Hope this helps for you.
Stay healthy!
Hello Sumit. I believe this is definitely possible. Kids have tremendous vitality & preserving it through natural means as much as possible is a great step for their short term & long term health.
Please read kids' healing stories in the Journeys section. Click here. This will give you great confidence.
My son is almost the same age too. He used to get cough & cold quite often. But after I dropped milk from his diet, the episodes reduced not just in terms of frequency but also in terms of duration.
If you would like to consult an expert, let me know your city, I'll guide you to someone. If you would like to make changes gradually to tune your child more to a natural lifestyle, you could utilise Wellcure's 'Buddy' services.

Hi Anchal , thanks for your reply. We are based out of Delhi. Any reference of an expert would be highly appreciated. My son is underweight and very choosy when it comes to eating. Prima facie the idea of dropping milk doesnt appeal to me as it is one thing he takes without much fuss. In fact we have recently shifted from packaged milk to loose gaushala milk after much diligence from our side.
Couldnt find the buddy services in the website. What exactly is it?
Thanks

Underweight, fussy....sounds so familiar to me. It was exactly the same case here too. I used to think he's already skinny, he'll be skinnier if he doesn't take milk, etc etc.
Its a very personal choice to drop milk or not. But I'll suggest you keep reading / watching more about it till you feel convinced. The world is moving towards a dairy free life!! You could begin by reading this blog - https://www.wellcure.com/body-wisdom/16/is-dairy-a-habit-or-a-need.
Apart from dairy....watch out for the consumption of white sugar & wheat too.
Buddy services - Wellcure will mail you the details.

Sumit, I understand your concern about dropping milk. Why don't you just stop milk products for a period of two weeks and see the changes it brings? You won't believe that milk causes so many problems. My son went through the same and so many problems disappeared once milk products were stopped. Doing is believing.
Milk is hard to digest and just sits in the stomach maing the child refuse to take other food products. The casein protein in milk lines the intestinal walls causing malabsorption of nutrients from food which maybe causing his weight to drop.
So just give it a try. After all, what is 15 days?
Hey Sumit,
Please don't worry, your son is working to cure himself!
COUGHING is not a problem. We should never suppress coughing by any means, not even in intention!
Coughing clears the lungs. Suppressing the cough means retaining the toxins in the lungs and progressing towards chronification of the problems.
Please focus on the conservation of vitality more and more for your son and family so that your son can clear the lungs faster and cough eventually stops.
Early morning the body gets a lot of conserved vitality to enhance the cleaning processes, such as coughing too!
Please consult a Nature Cure practitioner to know about these things more.
Thank you...
