My mother is 65 years old diabetic with controlled blood sugar but from last 3 months her sugar levels are dipping. She started feeling very low and scared of low sugar. She stopped going outside due to fear of low sugar attack. Pls suggest some remedies or measure to cope with this situation and also some diet tips for energy.

For low blood sugar level the diet should be rich in fiber,must contain fresh seasonal fruits .they should have two seasonal fruit and three vegetables in a diet plan,nuts as snack, 1 teaspoonsoaked meethi overnight in 100ml of water

Has your mother been on medications for diabetes for long?

After a period of time, sugar levels start fluctuating even with tablets.

She has to start implementing long term lifestyle change.

Please switch immediately to a low-fat plant-based diet avoid all forms of dairy, meat, eggs etc. Gradually stop intake of tea, coffee and add in more of fruits and vegetables in raw form. She also needs to spend more time outside in nature.

I would suggest that you contact a nature cure practitioner. This will help her to completely reverse the condition with proper guidance
