Jowar Drumstick Leaves Rotis

Easy way to add goodness of jowar and drumsticks into your regular diet.

Ingredients

  1. Jowar flour - 1 cup
  2. Onion chopped - 1
  3. Salt - to taste
  4. Grated carrot - 1
  5. Cabbage chopped - 3 tbsp
  6. Drumstick leaves - 3 tbsp 
  7. Water - to make dough
  8. Cold-pressed coconut oil - 2-3 tsp

Method

  1. Mix all the above ingredients with little water and make into soft chapati dough.
  2. Take some dough to make a thin roti. 
  3. Place the dough on the tawa (before heating the tawa) and tap with a soft press using your fingers to spread the dough into thin roti. You may wet your hands to spread the dough easily.
  4. Once the dough is spread, put on medium flame and cover & cook the roti. You can sprinkle 1 tsp oil .
  5. Flip and cook the other side
  6. Serve with curry or chutney of your choice.
