Lotus root commonly known as kamal kakdi has many health benefits.
Lotus tea is one of the easy and more healthy ways to get the benefit of lotus root.
Lotus tea helps to reduce acid reflux of the stomach and increases digestion. It also helps with Diaherrea, cramps and gas and helps in reducing inflammation.
1/2 cup lotus root juice
1/2 cup water
Pinch of sea salt
For lotus root juice
1. Wash the lotus root
2. Grate the washed lotus root
3. Extract the Juice with help of muslin cloth and collect in a cup
1. Pour the juice and water in a teapot
2. Place the pot on gas and bring it to boil
3. After first boil, let it summer for 3-4 min in low flame
4. Pour warm tea in your favorite cup and enjoy it! Add a pinch of sea salt if necessary.

Thanks for your query, its always good to use vegetables and fruits when they are in season. I will suggest to make this tea when Lotus root is in season and fresh.
