Lemon grass Tea - refreshing, herbal infusion!

Lemon grass is native to South Asia. It is also called citronella. It looks like grass with long, green blades. It has a nice lemony aroma which lends itself wonderfully to this refreshing cuppa.

Ingredients

Lemon grass (fresh/dried): 2 stalks
Water: 500 ml
Lemon: a slice
Honey: 2 tsp (optional)

Method

Clean and cut the lemongrass into small pieces using scissors.
Boil the water and add the stalk pieces.
Continue boiling for 5 minutes.
Strain the water.
Squeeze some lemon into the infusion.
Add honey if needed.

Enjoy this refreshing drink any time during the day!
