Hello Jayasuriya, Internal health of the body is essential for a good external health. A glowing, clear skin and healthy hairs indicate that the body is healthy internally whereas skin problems and hair problems indicate that the toxins are accumulated inside the body. A changed correct lifestyle and correct eating habits to maintain the hormonal balances and circadian rhythm is extremely important to be healthy. Food Include natural plant-based foods in your diet. Drink sufficient water during the day. Have fresh fruit juices and coconut water. Include salads, sprouts, fresh fruits, and green leafy vegetables in your meals. Have whole grains like barley, millets, oats. Include nuts, beans, cucumber in your diet. Always consume freshly prepared foods. Use coconut oil for cooking instead of using refined oils. Say no to coffee and tea. Avoid maida. Sleep Having good quality sleep for sufficient number of hours is very important. Go to bed early at night, especially before 11 pm. Get up early in the morning at around 6. Take a good quality sleep for at least 8 hours daily. Physical activity Sometimes not doing any physical activity during the day also leads to disturbed metabolism and hence accumulation of toxins. Start your day with some physical activity like walking or jogging. Perform yoga regularly. You can do bhujanga asana, gomukha asana, kapalbhati, trikona asana, paschimottan asana. Take 15min walk after your meals. Meditation Give yourself some time to meditate also. Meditation helps in treating almost every disease. Meditate for at least 20-25 min daily in the morning. Stress-free Stress also leads to various health issues. So, try to avoid stressful situations and be stress-free. Habits Never skip meals. Maintain proper hygiene. Have your meals at fixed times. Avoid late-night eating. Thank you

Hello user, Here is the recipe for natural bath powder that you make easily at home and it is completely natural. http://www.wellcure.com/recipes/577/aromatic-bath-powder-all-natural-ingredients Instead of shampoo, for washing your hair naturally, black mud is the best replacement for washing your hairs. Or you can also use a mixture of reetha and amla. This will also give a lusture to your hairs. For washing your face. Take a spoon of besan and mix some plant-based milk in it to make a thick paste and use it to wash your face. Hope you will like all the natural replacements. Thank you

Hello, Health of outer skin is the reflection of internal health. Dark spots indicate that there is accumulation of toxins within the body. Following the correct lifestyle and diet is extremely important for a healthy body. Reasons for skin problems Stress Improper diet. Hormonal imbalance. Some medications. Disturbed circadian rhythm. Local application- You can also use some other applications for acne. Mix sugar with coconut oil and apply this prepared mixture to the skin. This will exfoliate your skin and will remove all the dirt. Scrape fresh aloe vera gel from the aloe vera plant with a spoon and apply this gel on your skin 1-2 times a day. Diet to follow- Have only plant-based foods in your meals to keep your digestion good. Eat salads, fresh fruits, and vegetables to get all the essential nutrients. Eat sprouts, nuts, beans. Also, have sufficient water during the day to eliminate the toxins out of your body. Have freshly prepared fruit juices like beetroot juice. Use cold-pressed oil for cooking instead of refined oil. Foods to avoid- Oily foods are not good for the skin as well as for overall health. So, avoid deep-fried foods. Avoid spicy foods, packaged foods, and processed foods. Avoid tea and coffee. Avoid carbonated drinks. Avoid dairy products. Avoid sugars. Exercise With the diet, physical activity is equally important as it improves the blood circulation in the whole body and brain. Start your morning with a short morning walk of at least 30min. Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily. Perform bhujanga asana, trikona asana, padahasta asana. Perform anulom-vilom pranayam. Sleep Sleep is very important to burst all the stress from body and mind and also, for the rest of the body and mind. Sleep early at night at around 10 pm and also wake up early in the morning at around 6 am. Take a good quality sleep for at least 7-8 hours daily. Don't use any electronic devices 1 hour before sleeping. Thank you
I have many open pores on my face. How to get rid of them

Hello Chakshu, Open pores on the skin may result due to excessive oil production or thick hair follicles or it may due to the reduced elasticity around pores. It may also be due to sun damage or genetic reasons. Overuse of chemical based on the skin for a long time also results in skin damage. Exposure to pollution also deteriorates our skin health. The problem can be resolved by making some small changes in daily habits. Diet Start the day with 3 to 4 glasses of warm water. This will help to flush out the toxins out of the body. Drink coconut water. Vitamin C is essential as it has antioxidant properties. Have lemon juice or orange juice or amla regularly. Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices. Eat soaked nuts and raisins. Cook oil free. Avoid alcohol. Say no to deep-fried, spicy, processed and packaged foods. Avoid tea and coffee. Local application Mix besan and turmeric to make a paste. Apply this paste on the affected part. Keep it for 10 minutes and then rinse it with cold water. Apply fresh aloe vera gel and gulab jal on the affected part. Avoid using any chemical-based products. If you use makeup, then don't forget to remove it before sleeping at night. Protect yourself from dust and dirt. Exercise Exercising is essential for an improved metabolism which will help to flush out the toxins out of the body. Start the day with a short morning walk. Do plank for 5min. Practice pranayam regularly specially anulom-vilom and kapalbhati pranayam. Sleep Sometimes stress also triggers the skin issues and proper sleep is important to relieve the stress. So, take proper sleep of at least 7-8hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning. Thank you
I have very oily skin like super oily, please help!

Hello Deergha, Oily skin is a problem more common than you think. it is experienced by all the age groups and is mainly due to the toxins in the body that need elimination, a detox is recommended. The hyperactivity of the sebaceous glands tends to cause excessively oily skin. Oily skin is also a treat for the bacterial colonies which in turn is responsible for outbursts of acne and other skin infections. 1. Dietary advice: Eat green leafy vegetables, salads, and fruits as much as you can. They help in detoxification of the body. This will relieve all your skin problems in general and not just oily skin. Drink plenty of water every day. Water has been known as a natural cleaner and it cleanses all the toxins and flushes them out of the body. Eat an oil-free, fat-free diet. Excessive oils in the diet will contribute to your problems. Use neem fack pack or neem toners. They will not only help you with oily skin but also clear bacterial growth preventing the burst of acne and other infections. 2. Physical advice: Wash your face at least two to three times a day with nothing but plain water. It will cleanse your face and remove excess oil and dirt. Avoid touching your face unnecessarily and with dirty hands or wiping your face with a common towel. Have a good skincare routine. A serum at night, a sunblock in the noon when out traveling and a soap mild on the skin will help you considerably. Exercising daily for 30 minutes to an hour with moderate intensity should get your skin in action and clear out excess dirt and oil by sweat. 3. Mental advice: Stress has been known to cause various skin issues including oily skin. Try meditation for 30 minutes daily to cut out stress-related issues. Drink green teas and replace them with your regular tea and coffee. If you think your oily skin is related to the menstrual cycle then do not worry as it will subside with the cycle. 4. Routine and lifestyle advice: Avoid caffeine or don’t overindulge yourself. Avoid smoking or drinking as they have been known to cause bad health let alone oily skin. An active lifestyle is advisable. I hope I have covered all the points. Do let me know in the comments if you have any doubts. Thank you. Dr. Sukan M. Rajpurohit M.P.H (Gandhinagar)
Hi. I have got dry skin on face, which moisturizer or cream can help me look beautiful?

Making different types of oils and face wash will definitely help in developing a good skincare regime, here is something you can include in your whole day to make your skin look, soft supple and beautiful. Start your day with lemon and honey, lemon being citric in nature helps in giving the skin needful shine. The next thing to include in your diet is bottle-guard and ginger juice which will make your body leaner. And will add extra oil to your skin which will help in glow. Including orange juice also will give your skin required glow and oils. Beetroot is another such thing which gives the skin pinkish tinge and related needed glow. Massage your face with aloe vera gel and coconut oil daily at night to keep the moisture intact. Always remove your make up when sleeping. Thank you
