Dear Parvez, Let us begin by first understanding what is cholesterol. Cholesterol is a wax-like fatty substance that is produced by the liver. Cholesterol is produced to assist our body in building its cell membranes, many hormones like testosterone and estrogen, fat-dissolving bile acids and vitamin D. The body produces the amount of cholesterol that it needs for its functioning. The blood gets its cholesterol from two sources - one is produced by the liver and the intestines itself and the other source is any food that we consume, be it seeds, nuts, meat, poultry, dairy etc. Like with all other functions and components, our body has mechanisms to maintain the desired level of cholesterol. However, when our body is overloaded with toxins it is unable to eliminate excess cholesterol from the bloodstream. One can definitely reverse high levels of cholesterol to normal by adopting a natural lifestyle. We suggest you take a personal consultation with our Natural Health Coach who can understand your background better & give you an action plan. You can explore our Natural Health Coaching Program for the same. We will guide you on diet, sleep, exercise, stress, etc to correct your existing routine & make it in line with Natural Laws. (Nature Cure Guide & Educator)

How to treat stress in a person with thyroid (step wise)?
Dr. Khushbu Suthar
12:37 PM | 06-10-2020
Hello Harvinder Singhji, Stress and hypothyroid can both be treated well in a person simultaneously because of the same root cause they are coming from. What we need to understand s our body and the cause of stress which it is producing. Stress and hypothyroid both come from the same effects. These are due to what we have been putting in our body, which is eating a tamasic diet (adulterated, rotten and unhealthy junk is considered as tamasic). In this case, when we load our body with this kind of food, our metabolism becomes sluggish and hence, "hypo" thyroid happens. Here, our body starts pushing on more to reach an optimal level of functioning. When this high fat gets accumulated in the blood vessel it starts putting more pressure on the blood to reach all the parts of the body. The main thing here is, it should be about everything, food, meditation, sleep and exercise which amalgamate for good health and reach your optimal solution. Eat: The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature. Easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. Even the early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water will help in flushing out all the toxins. The ideal diet would be to depend on fruits and raw vegetable intake for at least one month and refrain from something oil-based. One inch of ginger boiled in two cups of water with one tablespoon lemon, boil them for 5-10 minutes. Consume this mixture during evening time to accelerate metabolism. Consuming Raw garlic two hours after lunch helps in lowering down blood pressure. High selenium diet which is walnuts, mushroom etc helps to increase the function of the thyroid. Seeds help a lot in lowering down stress like flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds etc. Exercise: Pranayam helps in detoxifying the body. Practising it early morning in an area that has good sunlight will help in improving blood circulation. Suryanamaskar, daily 12 sets will help in increasing the blood circulation of your body. Cat and Cow pose helps in increasing the function of the thyroid gland. Meditation: In any kind of disease, stress comes complementary to it. But with our assurance and positive attitude, we can treat anything. The best thing to start with is breathing mindfully before sleeping with the help of music to stay positive. In a room take a bowl of water and add two-three drops of orange or lavender essential oil. This will help in soothing you and the aroma will relax you and keep you away from any kind of disease. Use a 15-minute relaxation technique before sleep by hearing a piece of soothing music and deep breathing will help in relaxing your mind. A positive attitude will help you to deal with everything in life. Sleep: Sleeping for at least 7-8 hours is really helpful in dealing with any problem. Sleep is our body's natural response and helps the body to heal. Sleep relaxes the muscles and strengthens our body. During sleep, our body goes into a repair mechanism where it heals itself. Hopefully, these suggestions will help you. Thank you.
Hi i am vibha I have arthritis since 18 years how can I heel arthritis with food?
Dr. Sukan Rajpurohit

Hello Vibha, Arthritis or pain in joints is one of the most common problems faced by the people of elderly age group and a few from the middle age group. The problem of arthritis can be broadly divided into two categories which are Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis. Osteoarthritis is mainly due to the friction between the two bones resulting in the erosion and degradation of the joint. Rheumatoid arthritis is the autoimmune disease in which a body’s own immune system destroys the joints of the body resulting in inflammation of joints. I’ll try to cover the domain which is common for both of them. 1. Dietary advice: Eat food which is rich in calcium and iron. Numerous vegetables like spinach etc are an excellent source of the vital minerals. A plant-based diet and a natural approach is advisable. Add turmeric to your diet. Turmeric has a compound called curcumin which has been known to reduce inflammation and aid healing. Ginger tea, and adding ginger in the diet will help you with soothing the inflammation. Ginger also has a calming effect on the body. Fruits like Pineapple which contain Bromelain and cherries which contain anthocyanocides help in relieving the inflammation. Seeds like flax seeds, chia seeds etc are also beneficial in both the types of arthritis. 2. Physical advice: Exercise is one of the main condition for a healthy joint and a healthy body. Do not overstrain the joint but a mild form of exercises like walking or brisk walking etc will prove beneficial. Walking in sunlight daily morning for a minimum of 30-40 minutes will help your body to synthesize Vitamin D naturally. Vitamin D has direct involvement and also has a key role in the strengthening bones and joints. 3. Mental advice: Mental stress has been found to be one of the leading reason and a triggering factor for rheumatoid arthritis and many other autoimmune diseases. Calming exercises can make a difference. Breathing exercises like Anulom-Vilom, Kapal bharati etc can be much more beneficial than you think. Sound sleep and a stress-free living and thinking will play a key role in the process of healing. Meditate daily for 30- 40 minutes. It will calm you and aid in the healing process. 4. Routine and lifestyle advice: Do not drink too much coffee or tea. Green teas would be more suitable for you. Drink plenty of water as water has been known to flush out toxins from the body. Massaging the stiff joint might give you momentary relief. Frequently rest your joints. I hope I have covered all the points. Do let me know in the comments if you have any doubts. Thank you.
