Is balsamic vinegar healthy compared to the generally available vinegar?

Here's my understanding about balsamic and white vinegar. Balsamic vinegar is basically made using grapes. Grape pressings are boiled and the thick syrup is then stored in wooden containers and allowed to ferment for years. White vinegar, on the other hand, is made using acetic acid and is hence very acidic. In that sense, balsamic vinegar is definitely a better choice than regular white vinegar. Balsamic vinergar is very strong and should be used in very little amount, possibly just to sprinkle over salads or dressings. It is also very expensive and one must make sure to buy the right quality of the same.

I am 37 year old and slightly obese (82 kg at 5"9 height) and no other major health problem. Hi healing crisis happens when we give the body some rest from digestion always. It tries to start a cleanup. It’s quite possible that the pains your experiencing is a healing crisis or detox . Don’t do a dry fast unless your body is ready for it. When we train the body to slowly go from grains to no grains to cooked legumes to cooked veggies to fruits to veg juices to water to dry.. by the time you get to this last stage .. u would have healed from everything and body will be naturally ready to fast. Don’t force fast without realising that body will do it’s intended job - to clean you in a rigourous way. So when you fasted and crisis happened and pain was experienced , you feared that the fasting gave you pain and you ate. You then felt the pain vanish. This is because you chose to divert the attention of the body to shift to digestion and not cleanup or fixing. Hi. When it comes to home remedies for warts, pls exercise caution, especially because you mentioned face. Don't do it on your own pls, best to consult a natural health doctor for the same. Laser treatment will help you get rid of the existing ones, it's a cosmetic procedure, not a natural one. As per natural living, I would encourage you to understand the reason behind warts & treat them from their root cause. This will ensure existing ones fall off on their own & new ones don't come. To put it very briefly - The 'why' - Warts are caused by a virus. The virus thrives in an acidic body environment. Read blog are germs our friends or enemies? to understand better. So if you restore the body's acid alkaline balance, the virus is unable to thrive, old warts fall off & new ones don't come. The 'how' - Follow a natural lifestyle comprising the following elements - Natural Foods - These are non animal based foods, so no dairy & non veg. Hi. My daughter is not keeping well, skin allergy - eczema. She has been having this issue from age 2. From last 1 yr she is dairy free and bare minimum processed food, so some relief. From last 2 days she's got infection and am working on that. She's had some cheese sandwich in a bday party and it's got flared up.

Even I have had skin issues for a long while. Though there isnt any standard remedy as every body and issue is different, I have often found relief by applying cold pressed coconut oil. You may want to try!

Dear Preetha - Repeated episodes of sore throat mean your body is not getting the right energy to eliminate accumulated toxins. May I suggest a few things: Stay totally away from respiratory irritants - white sugar & dairy. This means you will have to avoid packaged foods like biscuits, bread, butter, jam, namkeens, muffins, cakes, pastries, cheese, sandwich spreads, etc......basically anything that comes with a shelf life written on it. Fruits and raw veggies help in cleaning the system. So don't fear them. The sore throat is just a signal the body is trying to give. Continue eating your fruits & veggies. Don't eat refrigerated, eat at room temp. Eat more of the ones you feel comfortable with such as sweet bananas, mangoes, pears, papayas, etc......whichever are in season in the place you live. Increase your intake of raw veggie juices & salads. When you feel uncomfortable, steam your veggies and have a nourishing veggie soup. Sip on warm water or boil some ginger in water & keep sipping on that every now & then. Start your morning with soaked raisins every day. Raisins are highly alkaline & will help your body restore its disturbed pH. Spend some time in the early morning or evening sun. Sit with your eyes closed & visualise the sun's rays healing your throat. Do it at least 10 minutes daily. Here's a concoction I give to my little one whenever he has cough, works for adults also - 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp honey, pinch of haldi, 4-5 drops of ginger juice......have it every 3-4 hours, i.e. 3-4 doses in a day. Stay at it for a few days & you should definitely feel better. Will wait to hear from you.
Eating grapes & apples causes gum inflamation, why? I have tried different type of apples but that didnt help. I presoak all fruits for 30 mins in water & viniger 1tsp to get rid of pesticides if any.

Sometimes when we eat something & it leads to a reaction, we feel it doesn't suit us. But be rest assured that if you are eating Natural Foods, such reactions are only body's way of speaking with you. An apple a day keeps the doctor away.....so how can it not be healthful for you :-) Grapes - eat them ripe. Nature has designed ripe fruits for us, when ripe their nutrition & flavor is at its peak. That's why if we eat it unripe, we get a sore throat. Inflammation - Any inflammation in the body is the body's way of signalling toxic overload. In your case, the signal may be getting activated due to apples & grapes, for someone else the trigger may be different. What to do? 1. Watch out for the grapes & apples you eat. They should be in season, ripe, locally available varieties. So if you live in India, buy Indian apples & not Washington, Indian grapes & not New Zealand grapes. By doing so, you are minimising intake of chemicals, at least to some extent......This is, in fact, applicable to all fruits & veggies you consume. 2. Focus on dental hygiene. Brushing your teeth twice a day with a natural toothpaste & rinsing your mouth after every meal you eat is a good practice. You may want to read this dental health journey - i-am-69-have-never-been-to-a-dentist. 3. Cleanse your system of toxic waste on an overall level by following healthy natural foods practice. Fruits and raw veggies are great cleansers for the body. Eat only fruits till 12 noon every day, eat as per hunger, no restriction on quantity. You can have fruits other than grapes & apples to start with. Have a big serving of raw veggie salads with cooked food in your lunch & dinner. If possible, have only 1 cooked meal a day. Stick to natural hydrating beverages such as coconut water, nimboo paani, etc. When you do all this, your body will get digestive rest & it will be able to focus on removing the accumulated waste. Co-incidentally I was just speaking to someone who was advised to stay away from bananas as there was some imbalance in his blood. So all his childhood & till the late twenties-early thirties, he did not eat bananas. But once he took to the natural way of life, the imbalances were taken care of & today he eats many bananas every day!! Hope that helps :-)

My uncle dropped dairy & says his calcium went really low because of that. How do I explain him?

Well! It is strange but true that calcium is most commonly associated with milk/dairy intake. Hence, the conclusion that calcium level low is because of quitting dairy. I have two children and hence the issue of milk and its impact on calcium levels is of particular interest to me. Over a period of time, I have understood that getting the right nutrition, is a gradual step-by-step process. Similarly, depletion of a particular nutrient also happens gradually, over a period of time. More often than not there could be multiple factors contributing to the same. Refined sugar, for instance, is a big culprit for leaching calcium from our body. The point that I am trying to make here is that in your uncle's case, you must evaluate other possible causes of calcium levels dropping down. Also, there are ample non-dairy options to get your calcium from, like nuts and seeds, veggies like broccoli and many others. You may want to suggest your uncle to include these in his diet on a regular basis. In general, if we ensure to eat a good amount of whole plant-based foods like fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes etc., we should not have to worry about isolated nutritional components. Natural foods surely have all that our body requires.

A chronic skin problem at early stage of life needs nature cure diagnosis for better recommendations.
